Abstract
球面状の受部を備えた受部材と、受部に摺動自在に装着させた球状の連結部を備えた連結部材からなる熱可塑性樹脂製の電気融着自在継手が有する問題、すなわち融着時に内部応力により収縮する収縮量が不均一であり、また融着部全体を密着させることが困難で、樹脂の流動が不安定となる、といった問題を解消する。
【解決手段】
受部材11が、一端にプラスチック管の管端部が差込まれる受口13を、他端に柱状の受部14を有し、受部外周面には該受部に装着されるサドル部の動きを規制する段17を形成する。連結部材12は一端にサドル部21を、他端にプラスチック管の管端部が差込まれる差口22を有し、サドル部21は鍔23を有して受部14に装着して摺動しながら一定量回動すると、鍔23が段17に当たって動きが規制される。

Claims (3)
- プラスチック管が差込まれる受口又は差口と、断面が円形の一定長さを有し、周面に上記受口又は差口に通ずる開口を形成した柱状の受部を有する受部材と、プラスチック管が差込まれる受口又は差口と、上記受部の外周面に当てられるサドル部を有する連結部材からなり、互いに接合する上記受部とサドル部の接合面のうち、いずれか一方の接合面には電熱線が埋設された融着部を備え、電熱線への通電により両部材が電気融着されることを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂製の自在継手。
- 上記両部材をクランプして電気融着するため、連結部材にクランプの掛止金具が掛止する掛止部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の熱可塑性樹脂製の自在継手。
- 上記受部の外周面にはサドル部の回動を規制するストッパー手段が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の熱可塑性樹脂製の自在継手。
