Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pad for a percussion instrument, and more particularly to a pad for a percussion instrument that can improve a feel when a hit surface is hit with a stick.
In a known acoustic drum, a striking surface is formed by a sheet member made of a leather or a synthetic resin sheet stretched by a predetermined tension through a rim, and the striking surface is struck by a stick to vibrate. Is emitted.
On the other hand, electronic drums have been distributed on the market as an electronic version of an acoustic drum, and this electronic drum is provided so that vibrations of a pad forming a striking surface can be converted into an electronic sound. The electronic drum is connected to an output device such as a speaker or a headphone via a predetermined electronic sound source, and can control the strength of electronic sound generated from the output device. Therefore, the electronic drum is often used for practice in a room or the like where a soundproof structure is not employed. For this reason, there is a demand for making the sound from the pad as quiet as possible by hitting the stick.
On the other hand, the electronic drum employs a structure in which the vibration of the pad is sensed by a sensor made of a piezoelectric element or the like and an electronic sound corresponding to the hitting force of the stick is output to the electronic sound source. Therefore, there is also a demand for the pad to be made of a material that can easily sense vibrations with a sensor.
In other words, the pad used for the electronic drum simultaneously satisfies the demand for noise reduction and the demand for the vibration to be easily detected by the sensor, so that the rubber surface layer forming the striking surface is made of an iron plate, an MDF plate, or the like. (See Patent Document 1).
However, the pad used for the electronic drum described above and the acoustic drum have a different amount of subsidence when hitting the hitting surface with a stick, and thus the hit feeling transmitted to the performer is different, which makes the player feel uncomfortable. There is an inconvenience of causing it.
Specifically, when the striking force of the stick is increased, the acoustic drum is deformed so that the striking surface sinks greatly. Compared to this, in the pad using the rubber surface layer material, the surface layer portion is relatively thick and is supported from the lower surface via the plate-like support, so that the amount of sinking of the hitting surface is reduced. There is a difference.
In addition, when the impact force of the stick is the same, the amount of sinking of the striking surface changes according to the distance from the rim in the acoustic drum, whereas the pad of the rubber surface layer material changes the striking surface. There is also a difference that the amount of subsidence of the striking surface hardly changes regardless of which region is hit.
[Object of invention]
The present invention has been devised by paying attention to such inconveniences, and its purpose is to eliminate the uncomfortable feeling given to the performer through the stick when hitting the hitting surface, An object of the present invention is to provide a pad for a percussion instrument that can obtain an equivalent percussion feel.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a percussion instrument pad including a surface layer portion that forms a striking surface to be struck by a stick, and a support that supports the surface layer portion.
A configuration is adopted in which an inner layer portion is provided on the inner surface side of the surface layer portion to change a sinking amount of the striking surface according to the striking force.
In the present invention, it is preferable to employ a configuration in which the hardness of the inner layer portion is set smaller than the hardness of the surface layer portion.
Further, when the in-plane outer peripheral side region and the in-plane central region of the striking surface are struck with a stick with the same striking force, the surface layer portion and / or the inner layer portion are more in the in-plane central region than the in-plane outer peripheral side region. It is possible to adopt a configuration in which the sinking amount of the hitting surface is increased.
Furthermore, the structure that the inner layer part corresponding to the said outer peripheral side area | region is equipped with the area | region which becomes gradually thin toward the outer periphery of a striking surface is also employ | adopted preferably.
Further, the hardness of the surface layer portion and / or the inner layer portion may be configured such that the in-plane outer peripheral region is set larger than the in-plane central region of the striking surface.
Further, the present invention is a percussion instrument pad having a surface layer portion that forms a striking surface to be hit by a stick,
A configuration is also adopted in which the hardness of the surface layer portion is set to be larger in the in-plane outer peripheral region than in the in-plane central region of the striking surface.
According to the present invention, when the striking force with the stick is increased, the inner layer portion can secure the amount of sinking of the striking surface according to the striking force. As a result, when the surface layer portion is made of rubber, it is possible to bring the hit feeling closer to the acoustic drum while maintaining quietness and ease of vibration detection.
In addition, since the hardness of the inner layer portion is set smaller than the surface layer portion, for example, if the striking force is substantially maximized, the impact applied to the player's hand due to the elasticity of the inner layer portion can be reduced, and the maximum When the striking force is about half or less of the limit striking force, it is possible to set so as to obtain a hit feeling that the stick bounces due to the elasticity of the surface layer portion.
Further, since the amount of subsidence of the hitting surface is greater in the in-plane center region than in the in-plane outer peripheral side region of the hitting surface, the hit feeling given to the player is changed depending on the hitting position of the hitting surface and is closer to the acoustic drum. A hit feeling can be realized.
Further, by gradually reducing the thickness of the inner layer portion toward the outer periphery of the striking surface, or by increasing the hardness of the surface layer portion and / or the inner layer portion of the outer peripheral side region of the striking surface from the central region, It is possible to give a soft feel at the center area of the striking surface and a hard feel at the outer peripheral area.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, “rubber hardness” is a hardness measured using a hardness meter of JIS K 6253, and “sponge rubber hardness” is a hardness measured using a hardness meter of SRIS 0101.
[First Embodiment]
FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view of a percussion instrument pad according to the first embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA of FIG. In these drawings, a percussion instrument pad 10 (hereinafter referred to as “pad”) is provided on a
The
The
The
In the above configuration, the performance using the
Therefore, according to the first embodiment, since the
Next, embodiments other than the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the following description, the same or equivalent components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as necessary, and the description is omitted or simplified.

Therefore, according to the second embodiment, since the in-plane

Therefore, the same effect as that of the fourth embodiment can be obtained also by the fifth embodiment.
The best configuration, method and the like for carrying out the present invention have been disclosed in the above description, but the present invention is not limited to this.
That is, the present invention has been particularly shown and described with respect to particular embodiments, but is not limited to the embodiments described above without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention. Various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art in terms of position, material or direction, and other detailed configurations.
