Abstract
【解決手段】 上記装置は一般的に一定のカテーテルを介して標的とされる組織に配給されて一定の超音波アレイを含み、この超音波アレイは周囲の組織を避けながら上記の標的とされる組織に超音波エネルギーを集中するための一定のフェーズド・アレイとして駆動することに適合している。

Description
一定の長手軸を有していて一定の先端側の部分を有する一定のカテーテル、および
上記先端側の部分に固定されていて、360度よりも小さい上記長手軸に対する方位角の一定範囲内において存在している被験体の組織に対してアブレーション用のエネルギーを供給する一定のフェーズド・アレイ・モードにおいて動作することに適合している一定の超音波アレイを含む。
一定の軸を有する一定の超音波アレイを上記組織の近くにおいて上記被験体の体内に挿入する処理、および
360度よりも小さい上記軸に対する方位角の一定範囲内における上記組織に対してアブレーション用の超音波エネルギーを供給するための一定のフェーズド・アレイ・モードにおいて上記超音波アレイを作動する処理を含む。
上記アブレーション用のエネルギーにより標的とするべきでない被験体の組織を決定する処理、および
上記標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて上記アブレーション用のエネルギーを供給する処理を含む。
(1)一定の被験体と共に使用するための装置において、
一定の長手軸を有していて一定の先端側の部分を有している一定のカテーテル、および
前記先端側の部分に固定されていて、360度よりも小さい前記長手軸に対する方位角の一定範囲内に存在している前記被験体の組織にアブレーション用のエネルギーを供給するための一定のフェーズド・アレイ・モードにおいて動作することに適合している一定の超音波アレイを備えている装置。
(2)前記超音波アレイが約32個乃至64個の超音波トランスデューサを含む実施態様1に記載の装置。
(3)前記超音波アレイが約180度乃至359度の方位角の一定範囲内における組織にアブレーション用のエネルギーを供給することに適合している実施態様1に記載の装置。
(4)前記カテーテルが前記被験体の一定の肺静脈の口の近くに配置されている場合に、前記方位角の範囲がその被験体の横隔神経に一定の欠陥を誘発することを避けるために360度よりも十分に小さい実施態様1に記載の装置。
(5)さらに、検出機能を備えており、この検出機能が前記アブレーション用のエネルギーにより標的とするべきでない被験体の組織を決定することに適合しており、この場合に、前記超音波アレイはその標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて前記アブレーション用のエネルギーを構成することに適合している実施態様1に記載の装置。
(7)前記検出機能が一定の超音波トランスデューサを含む実施態様5に記載の装置。
(8)前記検出機能が前記超音波アレイの少なくとも一部分を含む実施態様5に記載の装置。
(9)前記検出機能が画像処理機能を含む実施態様5に記載の装置。
(10)前記検出機能が前記カテーテルの先端側の部分に固定されることに適合している実施態様5に記載の装置。
(12)一定の被験体の組織をアブレーションするための方法において、
一定の軸を有する一定の超音波アレイを前記組織の近くにおいて前記被験体の体内に挿入する処理、および
360度よりも小さい前記軸に対する方位角の一定範囲内における前記組織に対してアブレーション用の超音波エネルギーを供給するための一定のフェーズド・アレイ・モードにおいて前記超音波アレイを作動する処理を含む方法。
(13)前記超音波アレイを作動する処理が180度よりも大きい方位角の一定範囲内において前記アブレーション用の超音波エネルギーを供給する処理を含む実施態様12に記載の方法。
(14)前記超音波アレイを作動する処理が270度よりも大きい方位角の一定範囲内において前記アブレーション用の超音波エネルギーを供給する処理を含む実施態様13に記載の方法。
(15)前記超音波アレイを挿入する処理が前記被験体の一定の肺静脈の口の近くに前記超音波アレイを配置して、その被験体の一定の横隔神経の中に一定の欠陥を誘発することを避けるために360度よりも十分に小さくなるように前記方位角の範囲を構成する処理を含む実施態様12に記載の方法。
前記アブレーション用のエネルギーにより標的とするべきでない前記被験体の組織を決定する処理、および
前記標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて前記アブレーション用のエネルギーを供給する処理を含む実施態様12に記載の方法。
(17)前記アブレーション用のエネルギーを供給する処理が前記標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて前記方位角の範囲を設定する処理を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。
(18)前記標的とするべきでない組織を決定する処理がその標的とするべきでない組織において非アブレーション性の超音波エネルギーを伝達する処理を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。
(19)前記非アブレーション性の超音波エネルギーを伝達する処理が前記超音波アレイの中の一定の超音波トランスデューサから前記非アブレーション性の超音波エネルギーを伝達する処理を含む実施態様18に記載の方法。
(20)前記標的とするべきでない組織を決定する処理がその標的とするべきでない組織を画像処理する処理を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。
(22)前記組織を決定する処理が前記被験体の体外の一定の部位から一定の測定を行なう処理を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。

Claims (12)
- 一定の被験体と共に使用するための装置において、
一定の長手軸を有していて一定の先端側の部分を有している一定のカテーテル、および
前記先端側の部分に固定されていて、360度よりも小さい前記長手軸に対する方位角の一定範囲内に存在している前記被験体の組織にアブレーション用のエネルギーを供給するための一定のフェーズド・アレイ・モードにおいて動作することに適合している一定の超音波アレイを備えている装置。 - 前記超音波アレイが約32個乃至64個の超音波トランスデューサを含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波アレイが約180度乃至359度の方位角の一定範囲内における組織にアブレーション用のエネルギーを供給することに適合している請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記カテーテルが前記被験体の一定の肺静脈の口の近くに配置されている場合に、前記方位角の範囲がその被験体の横隔神経に一定の欠陥を誘発することを避けるために360度よりも十分に小さい請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらに、検出機能を備えており、この検出機能が前記アブレーション用のエネルギーにより標的とするべきでない被験体の組織を決定することに適合しており、この場合に、前記超音波アレイはその標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて前記アブレーション用のエネルギーを構成することに適合している請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波アレイが前記標的とするべきでない組織の決定に応じて前記方位角の範囲を設定することに適合している請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出機能が一定の超音波トランスデューサを含む請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出機能が前記超音波アレイの少なくとも一部分を含む請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出機能が画像処理機能を含む請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出機能が前記カテーテルの先端側の部分に固定されることに適合している請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出機能が前記被験体の体外において動作することに適合している請求項5に記載の装置。
- 一定の被験体の組織をアブレーションするための方法において、
