Abstract
【解決手段】 MPEG−2データの伝送速度調節装置210は、様々な伝送速度で受信されるMPTSパケットをバッファリングするための受信バッファー218と、MPEG−2の'Null'パケットを保存するパケット保存器219と、受信バッファー218にバッファリングされたデータを予め設定された出力伝送速度で読み込んで行き、前記受信バッファーに関して予め設定されたアンダーフローの発生予測状況が生じると、受信バッファー218にバッファリングされたデータを読み込む動作を中止して、パケット保存器219に保存されたMPEG−2のNullパケットを読み込んで送信する信号処理部216と、を有する。

Claims (6)
- MPEG−2(Moving Picture Experts Group2)データの伝送速度調節装置であって、
様々な伝送速度で受信されるMPTS(Multi Program Transport Stream)パケットをバッファリングするための受信バッファーと、
MPEG−2の'Null'パケットを保存するためのパケット保存器と、
前記受信バッファーにバッファリングされたデータを予め設定された出力伝送速度で読み込み、前記受信バッファーに関して予め設定されたアンダーフローの発生予測状況が生じると、前記受信バッファーにバッファリングされたデータを読み込む動作を中止して、前記パケット保存器に保存された前記MPEG−2のNullパケットを読み込んで送信する信号処理部と、
を含むことを特徴とする伝送速度調節装置。 - 前記受信されるMPTSパケットからPAT(Program Association Table)及びPMT(Program Map Table)の情報を分析して出力するためのPAT/PMT分析器と、
前記受信されたMPTSパケットの該当のPID(Program Identification Information)を確認し、該確認結果に基づく情報を出力するためのPIDフィルター部と、をさらに具備し、
前記信号処理部は、前記PAT/PMT分析器から出力される情報を入力し、PCR(Program Clock Reference)パケットのPIDを確認し、前記PIDフィルター部の動作を制御し、前記PCR情報を分析し、前記受信バッファーのバッファリングのサイズを調節すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の伝送速度調節装置。 - 前記信号処理部が前記受信バッファーにバッファリングされたデータを読んで行く出力伝送速度は、前記受信されるMPTSパケットの伝送速度と同一或いはより速いこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の伝送速度調節装置。 - 様々な伝送速度で伝達されるMPTS(Multi Program Transport Stream)パケットを受信して、予め設定された出力伝送速度で送信するMPEG−2(Moving Picture Experts Group2)データの伝送速度調節方法であって、
前記伝達されるMPSTパケットを受信する受信バッファーの現在のデータバッファリング地点(CF地点)が予め設定されたデータ出力地点(HF地点)に逹すると、バッファリングされたデータを読み込んで前記出力伝送速度で送信する第1過程と、
前記バッファリングされたデータを読み込んでいる最中に前記CF地点が予め設定されたアンダーフロー予測地点(QF地点)に到逹すると、前記受信バッファーにバッファリングされるデータの読み込みを中止してMPEG−2 Nullパケットを前記出力伝送速度で送信する第2過程と、
前記Nullパケットを送信している最中に前記CF地点が前記HF地点に逹すると、前記バッファリングされたデータを読み込んで前記出力送信速度で送信して、前記第2過程に移行する第3過程と、
を含むことを特徴とする伝送速度調節方法。 - 前記第2過程の遂行時に前記CF地点が前記QF地点に到逹すると、現在送信中であるパケットの送信を完了した後に、前記受信バッファーにバッファリングされたデータの読み込みを中止して、前記MPEG−2 Nullパケットを前記出力伝送速度で送信し、
前記第3過程の遂行時に前記CF地点が前記HF地点に逹すると、現在送信中である前記Nullパケットの送信を完了した後に、前記バッファリングされたデータを読み込んで前記出力送信速度で送信すること
を特徴とする請求項4に記載の伝送速度調節方法。 - 前記MPTSパケットのPCR(Program Clock Reference)パケット間の周期を確認し、該周期の確認結果に基づいて前記QF地点を調節して、前記第1過程を遂行する過程をさらに含むこと
を特徴とする請求項4に記載の伝送速度調節方法。
