Abstract
【解決手段】 第1通路8を介して空気を噴霧ノズル7に送給する構成とし、インジェクタ10により燃料を第1通路8に供給し、グロープラグ6によって噴霧ノズル7内で燃料を加熱して、燃料の微粒子化を促進させ、噴孔7Bから燃料を良好に噴霧させる。円筒管19を配設して導通路を形成し、噴霧ノズル7からの噴流体を導通路を介して開口2Aから送出させる。第2通路22から空気を導通路内に供給し、円筒管19内の点火プラグ20により燃料を燃焼させて火炎ガスを供給する。噴霧ノズル7から空気だけを噴射することにより噴霧ノズル7の内部や噴孔7B及び装置内の付着物を洗浄することができ、これにより動作の安定性と信頼性を向上させることができる。噴霧ノズルの先端部外周に環状吐出口を設け、通路からの空気をスカート状に放出し、噴霧燃料が円筒管の壁面に付着するのを防止できるようにする。

Description
エンジンの排気管内に補助装置200を配置すると、排気が流入することで未燃HCやPMが噴霧ノズル207に付着し、ノズル噴孔を閉鎖させたりして、機能不能を起こす危険性がある。このような問題が生じるのを防ぐために、運転停止時にしばらくの間、通路208からの空気のみ噴霧ノズル207から噴射することを継続し、噴霧ノズル207内に残留している燃料を全てなくす。

Claims (2)
- 排気中のディーゼル微粒子を除去するためのフィルタを備えた排気後処理装置に火炎ガスを供給するための排気後処理装置用補助装置において、
出口部を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に設けられ先端部に噴孔を有する噴霧ノズルと、
該噴霧ノズルに空気を送るための第1通路と、
該第1通路内に燃料を供給するためのインジェクタと、
前記噴霧ノズル内に設けられた加熱装置と、
前記噴孔からの噴霧流体を前記出口部へ導くため一端開口が前記噴孔に対向して接近配置され他端開口が前記出口部に接続されるようにして前記ハウジング内に設けられた導通路と、
前記導通路内に前記噴孔側から前記出口部側に向かう空気流を生じさせるため前記ハウジング内に空気を送るための第2通路と、
前記導通路内の燃料に点火するための点火器と
を備えたことを特徴とする排気後処理装置用補助装置。 - 排気温度を上昇させるための酸化触媒とPM捕集用フィルタとを備えた排気後処理装置に生燃料又は火炎ガスを供給するための排気後処理装置用補助装置であって、
出口部を有するハウジングと、
該ハウジング内に設けられ先端部に噴孔を有する噴霧ノズルと、
該噴霧ノズルに空気を送るための通路と、
該通路内に燃料を供給するためのインジェクタと、
前記噴霧ノズル内に設けられた加熱装置と、
前記噴孔からの噴出流体を前記出口部へ導くため一端開口が前記噴孔に対向して接近配置され他端開口が前記出口部に接続されるようにして前記ハウジング内に設けられた導通路と、
前記噴霧ノズルの前記先端部の外周を囲む環状吐出口を有し前記噴孔からの前記噴出流体と前記導通路の内壁面との間にスカート状の空気流を生じさせるための第1空気送給手段と、
前記導通路内に前記噴孔側から前記出口部側に向かう空気流を生じさせるため前記ハウジングと前記導通路との間に形成される空間に空気を送るための第2空気送給手段と、
前記導通路内の燃料に点火するための点火器と
を備えたことを特徴とする排気後処理装置用補助装置。
