(ハ)穴の封鎖性が完全でないために、1l以上の大型の容器を使用すると溶液が穴から漏れるため、約200ml〜500mlの小型の容器しか使用されなかった。
(ニ)樹木に多量の薬液を注入させるためには頻繁に容器を交換する必要があり、20l以上の溶液を樹木に注入することははなはだ困難なことであった。
