Abstract

(1)近位の端部、遠位の端部、および長手方向に貫通する少なくともひとつの内腔を備えた長寸のカテーテル本体と、
上記カテーテル本体の上記遠位の端部に配置されたマッピングアセンブリであって、
上記カテーテル本体の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられた直円柱の形状の基部を備え、上記基部が近位の端部、遠位の端部、および少なくとも5個の予め形状が与えられた柔軟な支持アームを有し、上記支持アームの各々が上記直円柱の形状の基部の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられた近位の端部と遠位の自由端部とを備え、上記支持アームが上記基部の円周に沿って等間隔で配置されている、一体の支持構造と、
各々が上記少なくとも5個の支持アームの対応する支持アームを取り囲んで設けられた少なくとも5個の非導電性のカバーと
上記支持構造の基部を覆う非導電性のカバーと

上記少なくとも5個の非導電性のカバーの各々には少なくとも2個の電極が上記非導電性のカバーを覆って取り付けられている、上記マッピングアセンブリと

Claims (13)

上記カテーテル本体の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられたほぼ円筒形の基部を備え、上記基部が近位の端部、遠位の端部、および少なくとも2個の予め形状が与えられた柔軟な支持アームを有し、上記支持アームの各々が上記ほぼ円筒形の基部の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられた近位の端部と遠位の自由端部とを備えた、支持構造と、
各々が上記少なくとも2個の支持アームの対応する支持アームを取り囲んで設けられた少なくとも2個の非導電性のカバーと
を備え、
上記少なくとも2個の非導電性のカバーの各々には上記非導電性のカバーを覆う少なくともひとつの電極が取り付けられている、上記マッピングアセンブリと
を有する、カテーテル。 - 支持構造の基部を覆う非導電性のカバーをさらに有する、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 支持構造の基部と少なくとも2個の支持アームとが一体の構造である、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 各支持アームが近位の端部から遠位の端部へ向けて先細りになっている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 各支持アームが遠位の端部に円盤形の領域を有する、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 支持構造が少なくとも5個の支持アームを有する、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 非導電性のカバーの各々には少なくとも2個の電極が上記非導電性のカバーを覆って取り付けられている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
- 非導電性のカバーの各々には少なくとも4個の電極が上記非導電性のカバーを覆って取り付けられている、請求項1記載のカテーテル。
