Abstract
【解決手段】重金属により汚染された媒体(汚染土壌101)に、ハクサンハタザオ1などのArabis属の植物を栽培し、所要の期間生育させた後、収穫することによって、汚染質の重金属を除去する。また、必要に応じて、予め有孔のプラスチック管2や排水材の埋設による排水手段を設けたり、pH調整剤、窒素、リン、カリウム等の肥料要素、キレート化合物を媒体に添加する。

caerulescensは、在来種ではないため、これを用いることは生態系の秩序へのリスクを伴う問題がある。

caerulescensと同等もしくはそれ以上の高いカドミウム及び亜鉛の蓄積能力を有することが確認された。

- 重金属により汚染された媒体にArabis属の植物を栽培し、所要の期間生育させた後、収穫することを特徴とする被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- 収穫したArabis属の植物を堆肥化又は焼却することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- 栽培するArabis属の植物が、イブキハタザオ、イワテハタザオ、イワハタザオ、ウメハタザオ、エゾノイワハタザオ、エゾハタザオ、クモイナズナ、シコクハタザオ、スズシロソウ、タチスズシロソウ、ニワハタザオ、ハクサンハタザオ、ハマハタザオ、フジハタザオ、ミヤマハタザオ、ヤマハタザオから一種類以上選択されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- 重金属により汚染された媒体に畝を形成し、この畝に沿ってArabis属の植物を栽培することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- Arabis属の植物を栽培する媒体を耕耘することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- Arabis属の植物を栽培する媒体に暗渠、明渠又は排水材による排水手段を設けることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- Arabis属の植物の栽培領域上を、温室構造体で覆うことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- Arabis属の植物を栽培する媒体に、pH調整剤、窒素、リン、カリウム及びキレート化合物から選択された一種類以上の添加剤を添加することを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- pH調整剤が、石灰岩、ドロマイト、消石灰、酸化カルシウム、アルカリ性工業廃棄物及びリン灰岩から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- pH調整剤が、塩酸、硫酸、硝酸、酢酸、ギ酸、硫黄華及び硫黄化合物等の酸性資材から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
- キレート化合物が、EDTA(エチレンジアミン四酢酸)、GEDTA(グリコールエーテルジアミン四酢酸)、NTA(ニトリロ三酢酸)、EDDS(エチレンジアミン−N,N’−ジコハク酸)、GLDA(グルタミン酸二酢酸)、ASDA(アスパラギン酸二酢酸)、MGDA(メチルグリシニン二酢酸)等の合成キレート剤、又はクエン酸、シュウ酸等の有機酸から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の被汚染媒体からの汚染質除去方法。
