Abstract
【解決手段】 製品の輸送及び貯蔵のためのシステムであって、
(a)円筒形壁部と2つの端部を含むタンクと;
(b)1つ又は複数の側壁と、底壁と、該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けてバルブボックスを封止することができる取り外し可能で封止可能な上蓋とを含むバルブボックスと;
(c)該バルブボックス内に配置された1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブと;
(d)該バルブボックスと流体連絡しているパージバルブ及び圧力測定手段と;
を含んで成り、該バルブボックスが封止されている場合、該タンク内の製品が、該タンク周囲の大気から隔離されている、製品の輸送及び貯蔵のためのシステム。

Description
(a)システムを提供すること、即ち、
(1)円筒形壁部と2つの端部を含むタンクであって、該円筒形壁部と該2つの端部が円筒形タンク周囲を画定し、該周囲が内部と外部を有するタンク;
(2)1つ又は複数の側壁と、底壁と、該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けて封止されたバルブボックスを形成できる取り外し可能で封止可能な上蓋とを含むバルブボックスであって、その側壁が該円筒形壁部に対し封止可能な形で接合されているバルブボックス;
(3)該バルブボックス内に配置された1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブであって、各バルブが第1及び第2端部を有し、各第1端部が、該タンク内に製品を導入するか又は該タンクから製品を回収するため、該バルブボックスの壁を貫通するパイプに接続され、該バルブボックスが封止されている場合に、該タンク内の製品が該タンク周囲の大気から隔離されている1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブ;並びに
(4)該バルブボックスと流体が連絡しているパージバルブ及び圧力測定手段;
を含んで成るシステムを提供すること;
(b)該1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブのうち少なくとも1つに通し、該プロセスバルブの第1端部に接続されかつ該バルブボックスの壁を通過して該タンク内に進むパイプに通して、製品を該タンク内に導入すること;
(c)該1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブを閉じて、それにより製品圧力で該タンク内に製品を隔離し、該封止可能な上蓋を該バルブボックスの該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けること;
(d)第1の時点で、パージガスによって該バルブボックスをパージし、製品圧力と大気圧の間の圧力まで該バルブボックスを加圧して該パージバルブを閉じ、該バルブボックス内の圧力を測定し記録すること;並びに
(e)該第1の時点より後の第2の時点で、該バルブボックス内の圧力を測定し、該第2の時点での圧力を該第1の時点で(d)において測定した該バルブボックス内の圧力と比較すること;
を含んで成る、製品の輸送方法を含む。
(1)(必要であれば温度補償の後)この期間の最後でバルブボックス53内の圧力は、タンクからバルブボックス内への漏洩の結果として、この期間の最初に記録された圧力よりも高い。このシナリオでは、タンクとバルブボックスとの間の圧力勾配による漏洩のため、バルブボックス内に幾らかの製品が見出される。さらに、バルブボックスとタンク内部との間の濃度勾配による逆拡散の結果として、タンク3内に少量のパージガスを見出す場合がある。このシナリオでは、バルブボックスと周囲大気との間で漏洩が生じた可能性もあるが、これは製品タンクからバルブボックス内への漏洩よりも低い速度である。これが生じた場合には、周囲大気からの少量のガスが、バルブボックス内にそしてバルブボックスから製品タンク内に逆拡散した可能性がある。しかしながら、逆拡散の量は、バルブボックスが大気汚染物質に完全に露呈された場合に起こる逆拡散よりもはるかに少ない。大気の逆拡散による製品汚染の可能性は、バルブボックス53内に緩衝液又はパージガスを導入することにより相当に低下する。
(2)(必要であれば温度補償の後)この期間の最後でバルブボックス53内の圧力は、バルブボックスから大気への漏洩の結果として、この期間の最初に記録された圧力よりも低い。このシナリオでは、バルブボックスの蓋7がしっかり封止されなかったため、バルブボックス53内のパージガスの一部が周囲大気に漏洩した可能性がある。タンク3とバルブボックス53の間で漏洩が全く生じなかった場合には、バルブボックス内には全く製品が存在せず、タンク3内の製品への逆拡散も全く生じないであろう。しかしながら、このシナリオでは、タンクとバルブボックスの間で漏洩が発生した可能性もあるが、それはバルブボックスから周囲大気への漏洩よりも低い速度である。この可能性は、バルブボックス内のガスを分析してその中に製品が存在するか否かを見極めることによって点検できる。これが生じた場合には、周囲大気からの少量のガスが、バルブボックス内に逆拡散し、そしてバルブボックスから製品タンク内に逆拡散した可能性がある。しかしながら、バルブボックスは最終的にタンク3内に収容される製品で一杯になり大気圧に近づくことになるため、タンク3内への大気汚染物質の逆拡散は小さくなる。バルブボックス内の気体を分析することによって、タンク3とバルブボックス53の間に漏洩が発生したか否かが見極められる。
(3)(必要であれば温度補償の後)この期間の最後でバルブボックス53内の圧力は、タンクからバルブボックス内への漏洩の結果として、この期間の最初に記録された圧力に等しい。このシナリオでは、漏洩は全く生じず、それゆえ、タンク3内の製品を汚染する逆拡散も全く生じなかったという可能性が最も高い。しかしながら、バルブボックスの蓋7がしっかりと封止されていなかったために、バルブボックス53内のパージガスの一部が周囲大気に漏洩した可能性と同様に、バルブボックスから周囲大気への漏洩に等しい速度でタンクとバルブボックスの間に漏洩が生じた可能性も、限定的であるが極わずかに存在する。この可能性は、起こりそうにないことではあるものの、バルブボックス内のガスを分析してその中に製品が存在するか否かを見極めることによって点検できる。これが生じた場合には、周囲大気からの幾らかのガスが、場合によってバルブボックス内に逆拡散し、そしてバルブボックスから製品タンク内に逆拡散している可能性がある。バルブボックスに製品又は製品とパージガスの混合物が充填されている場合、バルブボックス53を介した逆拡散によってタンク3内の製品を汚染する可能性は、相当に減少することになる。
超純粋製品は、図5のバルブボックスアセンブリを備えたモジュール式タンク及びフレームシステム1においてエンドユーザーに納入される。エンドユーザーは、受領時点でバルブボックス53内の圧力を測定し、(必要であれば温度補償の後)それを製品が出荷された時点で売り手により記録された圧力と比較する。受領したときのバルブボックス内の圧力が、出荷された時点のバルブボックス内の圧力よりも高いことがわかり、このことはタンクからバルブボックス内への漏洩を示す。このシナリオでは、問題のさらなる調査と適切な修理のため、モジュール式タンク及びフレームシステムは売り手の施設に返送される。
超純粋製品は、図5のバルブボックスアセンブリを備えたモジュール式タンク及びフレームシステム1においてエンドユーザーに納入される。エンドユーザーは、受領時点でバルブボックス53内の圧力を測定し、(必要であれば温度補償の後)受領したときのバルブボックス内の圧力が、出荷された時点のバルブボックス内の圧力よりも低いことがわかり、このことはバルブボックスの蓋7がしっかり封止されていなかったために周囲大気にバルブボックス53内のパージガスの一部が漏洩した可能性があることを示している。漏洩がタンク3とバルブボックス53の間で生じたか否かを見極めるため、バルブボックス3内の蒸気を分析して製品が存在するか否かを見極める。バルブボックス内に製品が全く存在しない場合には、エンドユーザーは、バルブボックスの蓋7を取り外し、エンドユーザーの製品回収システムを封止可能なクロージャー37に接続してバルブ49を開く。バルブボックス53内に製品が存在する場合には、問題のさらなる調査と適切な修理のため、モジュール式タンク及びフレームシステムは売り手の施設に返送することができる。
超純粋製品は、図5のバルブボックスアセンブリを備えたモジュール式タンク及びフレームシステム1においてエンドユーザーに納入される。エンドユーザーは、受領時点でバルブボックス53内の圧力を測定し、(必要であれば温度補償の後)受領したときのバルブボックス内の圧力が出荷時点のバルブボックス内の圧力に本質的に等しい(即ち、圧力測定装置の公知変動性以下の変動に過ぎない)ことを見出す。このことは、バルブボックス53内への製品の漏洩が全く生じなかった可能性が最も高いことを意味している。しかしながら、バルブボックス53内のパージガスの一部が周囲に漏洩した可能性と同様、製品がタンクからバルブボックス内へ、バルブボックスから周囲大気への漏洩と等しい速度で漏洩した可能性も限定的であるが極わずかに存在している。自らの危険許容限度に応じて、エンドユーザーは(a)問題無しと結論づけ、バルブボックスを開き、自らの製品回収システムを封止可能なクロージャー37に接続してバルブ49を開放するか、又は(b)バルブボックス3内の蒸気を分析して製品が存在するか否かを見極めることができる。バルブボックス内に製品が全く存在しない場合には、エンドユーザーはバルブボックスの蓋7を取り外し、自らの製品回収システムを封止可能なクロージャー37に接続してバルブ49を開放することができる。バルブボックス53内に製品が存在する場合には、問題のさらなる調査と適切な修理のため、モジュール式タンク及びフレームシステムは売り手の施設に返送することができる。

Claims (25)
- 製品の輸送及び貯蔵のためのシステムであって、
(a)円筒形壁部と2つの端部を含むタンクであって、該円筒形壁部と該2つの端部が円筒形タンク周囲を画定し、該タンク周囲が内部と外部を有するタンクと;
(b)1つ又は複数の側壁と、底壁と、該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けてバルブボックスを封止することができる取り外し可能で封止可能な上蓋とを含むバルブボックスであって、その側壁が該円筒形壁に対し封止可能な形で接合されているバルブボックスと;
(c)該バルブボックス内に配置された1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブであって、各バルブが第1及び第2端部を有し、各第1端部が、該タンク内に製品を導入するか又は該タンクから製品を回収するため、該バルブボックスの壁を貫通するパイプに接続されている1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブと;
(d)該バルブボックスと流体連絡しているパージバルブ及び圧力測定手段と;
を含んで成り、該バルブボックスが封止されている場合、該タンク内の製品が、該タンク周囲の大気から隔離されている、製品の輸送及び貯蔵のためのシステム。 - 前記バルブボックスが、少なくとも部分的に奥まった所に配置され、前記タンク周囲の内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、該バルブボックスの蓋が、該バルブボックスの1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けて封止されたバルブボックスを形成する場合、該タンク周囲に配置されるか又は該タンク周囲の外側にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記封止されたバルブボックスが、前記タンク周囲の大気から隔離されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブボックス内の温度を測定するための温度測定手段をさらに含んで成る、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブボックスが円筒形であり、円形底壁と、円形上蓋と、単一の側壁を形成する円筒形中心部とを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パージバルブが、パージガスを前記バルブボックス内に導入するため充填ラインに接続できる封止可能なクロージャーに接続される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 封止されている場合の前記バルブボックスの最大許容使用圧力が、前記タンクの最大許容使用圧力以上である、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブの各第2端部が、封止可能なクロージャーに接続され、該クロージャーが、外部供給源から前記タンク内に製品を導入するため充填ラインに接続できるか、外部用途に関して該タンクから製品を回収するため回収ラインに接続できるか、又は該タンク内の製品の輸送若しくは貯蔵のため密閉できる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各封止可能なクロージャーが、前記バルブボックス内でかつ前記タンク周囲の内部に配置される、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクが、共存する液相及び蒸気相において製品を収容し、充填ラインが前記タンクへの液体の導入に適合しており、回収ラインが該タンクからの蒸気の回収に適合している、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクが、アンモニア、塩素、塩化水素、トリクロロシラン、四塩化ケイ素、及びメチルトリクロロシランから成る群より選択された製品を収容する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクが固体粒状成分とガスを収容し、前記充填ラインが該タンク内に該固体粒状成分と該ガスの混合物を導入するよう適合しており、かつ前記回収ラインが該タンクから該固体粒状成分と該ガスの混合物を回収するよう適合している、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクが固体粒状成分と液体成分のスラリーを収容し、前記充填ラインが該タンク内に該固体粒状成分と該液体成分のスラリーを導入するよう適合しており、かつ前記回収ラインが該タンクから該固体粒状成分と該液体のスラリーを回収するよう適合している、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクの軸が一般に水平であり、該タンクが上部と底部を有し、前記バルブボックスが該タンクの上部に配置され、バルブの第1端部に接続されたパイプが、該バルブボックスを通って該バルブボックスから下向きに該タンクの底部付近の場所まで及ぶディップチューブを形成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンク及びバルブボックスを囲む硬質枠組であって、該タンクに取り付けられこれを支持し、該タンク周囲を取り囲む周囲を画定する硬質枠組をさらに含んで成る、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブボックスが、前記硬質枠組の周囲内に配置された、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブボックスが封止されている場合に該バルブボックスから回収された流体を分析するための、又は該バルブボックスが封止されている場合に該バルブボックスのその場の流体を分析するための分析手段をさらに含んで成る、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 製品の輸送方法であって、
(a)システムを提供すること、即ち、
(1)円筒形壁部と2つの端部を含むタンクであって、該円筒形壁部と該2つの端部が円筒形タンク周囲を画定し、該周囲が内部と外部を有するタンク;
(2)1つ又は複数の側壁と、底壁と、該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けて封止されたバルブボックスを形成できる取り外し可能で封止可能な上蓋とを含むバルブボックスであって、その側壁が該円筒形壁部に対し封止可能な形で接合されているバルブボックス;
(3)該バルブボックス内に配置された1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブであって、各バルブが第1及び第2端部を有し、各第1端部が、該タンク内に製品を導入するか又は該タンクから製品を回収するため、該バルブボックスの壁を貫通するパイプに接続され、該バルブボックスが封止されている場合に、該タンク内の製品が該タンク周囲の大気から隔離されている1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブ;並びに
(4)該バルブボックスと流体が連絡しているパージバルブ及び圧力測定手段;
を含んで成るシステムを提供すること;
(b)該1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブのうち少なくとも1つに通し、該プロセスバルブの第1端部に接続されかつ該バルブボックスの壁を通過して該タンク内に進むパイプに通して、製品を該タンク内に導入すること;
(c)該1つ又は複数のプロセスバルブを閉じて、それにより製品圧力で該タンク内に製品を隔離し、該封止可能な上蓋を該バルブボックスの該1つ又は複数の側壁に取り付けること;
(d)第1の時点で、パージガスによって該バルブボックスをパージし、製品圧力と大気圧の間の圧力まで該バルブボックスを加圧して該パージバルブを閉じ、該バルブボックス内の圧力を測定し記録すること;並びに
(e)該第1の時点より後の第2の時点で、該バルブボックス内の圧力を測定し、該第2の時点での圧力を該第1の時点で(d)において測定した該バルブボックス内の圧力と比較すること;
を含んで成る、製品の輸送方法。 - 前記システムが、前記タンク及びバルブボックスを囲む硬質枠組であって、該タンクに取り付けられこれを支持し、該タンク周囲を取り囲む周囲を画定する硬質枠組をさらに含んで成る、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記バルブボックスが前記硬質枠組の周囲内に配置される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の時点と前記第2の時点との間の期間中に、第1の場所から第2の場所まで前記システムを輸送することをさらに含んで成る、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の場所と前記第2の場所で前記バルブボックス内の温度を測定すること、該第2の場所での圧力を補正して該第2の場所での温度補正済み圧力を得ること、及び該第1の場所で測定された圧力と該第2の場所での温度補正済み圧力を比較することをさらに含んで成る、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の場所における前記バルブボックス内の温度補正済み圧力が、前記第1の場所での該バルブボックス内で測定された圧力よりも大きい場合、該第2の場所から該第1の場所まで前記システムを輸送する、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の場所における前記バルブボックス内の温度補正済み圧力が、前記第1の場所での該バルブボックス内で測定された圧力よりも小さい場合、該バルブボックス内の流体を分析し、該バルブボックス内の流体が製品を含有する場合には、該第2の場所から該第1の場所まで前記システムを輸送する、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の場所における前記バルブボックス内の温度補正済み圧力が、前記第1の場所での該バルブボックス内で測定された圧力と本質的に等しい場合、該バルブボックス内の流体を分析し、該バルブボックス内の流体が製品を含有する場合には、該第2の場所から該第1の場所まで前記システムを輸送する、請求項22に記載の方法。
