Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rod detection mechanism that detects a tilt angle of a mirror body, and more particularly, to a rod detection mechanism that improves followability to tilt of a holder base to which a mirror body is fixed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in an outer mirror that is attached to a vehicle such as a passenger car, an outer mirror base is provided with an outer mirror tilting device that adjusts the field of view of the mirror body from the inside of the vehicle, that is, can tilt the mirror body. is there. As this outer mirror tilting device, for example, a bearing formed at the center of the holder base to which the mirror body is fixed is fitted to a pivot shaft provided in the housing, and the holder base is tilted with respect to the housing. The tip of the drive rod of the rod drive mechanism is supported freely and fitted into the drive socket portion of the holder base. Then, the driving rod of the rod driving mechanism causes the driving rod to protrude from the housing, and the mirror body fixed to the holder base is tilted around the bearing portion of the holder base.
[0003]
Here, the field of view of the mirror body changes when the physique of the driver who drives the vehicle is different when the tilt angle is constant. Therefore, when a driver with a different physique drives the vehicle, it is necessary to adjust the field of view of the mirror body. Further, when the vehicle is moved backward, there is a case where it is desired to change the field of view of the mirror body. In these cases, the tilt angle of the mirror body is changed by driving the outer mirror tilting device from the inside of the vehicle. Therefore, in the outer mirror, the necessity to detect the tilt angle of the mirror main body has increased. Conventionally, an outer mirror detection device that detects a tilt angle of a mirror main body fixed to a holder base is proposed separately from the outer mirror tilt device (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]
This is because the pair of shafts that are always in contact with the holder base by the compression spring changes corresponding to the tilting of the holder base, thereby detecting the vertical and horizontal displacements of the holder base to detect the mirror. The tilt angle of the main body is detected. As a result, the optimal tilt angle of the mirror body for each driver and the optimal tilt angle of the mirror body when the vehicle is moved backward can be stored in advance, and the view of the mirror body can be adjusted with a simple operation. The troublesomeness of adjusting the field of view of the mirror body each time the driver drives the vehicle can be reduced.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2002-67795 A
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the outer mirror detection device described above, the pair of shafts are always in contact with the holder base by the compression spring, but when the holder base repeatedly tilts, foreign matter (dust and dust) is placed between the holder base and the shaft. ) May intervene. If a foreign object is present between the holder base and the shaft, the actual tilt angle of the holder base may be different from the tilt angle of the holder base detected by the outer mirror detection device by the pair of shafts. That is, the followability of the shaft to the tilt of the holder base may be reduced.
[0007]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object thereof is to provide a rod detection mechanism that can prevent at least the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror body from being lowered.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, according to the present invention, at least a pair of detection rods protruding and retracting from the housing corresponding to the vertical and horizontal tilts of the holder base to which the mirror body is fixed, and a pair of detection rods are provided. In a rod detection mechanism having detection means for detecting the tilt angle of the holder base from the protruding and protruding amount of the rod, the tip portions of the pair of detection rods are fitted into detection socket portions formed on the holder base. And
[0009]
According to the present invention, the pair of detection rods are fitted in a tiltable manner to the detection socket portion formed on the holder base whose tip ends are tilted. Therefore, foreign matter can be prevented from entering between the holder base and the shaft of the conventional outer mirror detection device. As a result, it is possible to prevent the followability of the detection rod with respect to the tilt of the holder base, and to prevent the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base from being lowered.
[0010]
According to the present invention, in the rod detection mechanism according to the first aspect, the pair of detection rods are arranged such that the inner peripheral surface of the detection rod guide portion formed in the housing is in the protruding and retracting direction of the pair of detection rods. It has a latching claw that slides, and the latching claw is biased radially outward of the pair of detection rods by an elastic member fixed inside the pair of detection rods. To do.
[0011]
According to the present invention, the pair of detection rods slide on the inner peripheral surface of the rod guide portion while being urged radially outward of the pair of detection rods by the elastic member. That is, the force for causing the pair of detection rods to protrude and retract from the housing is increased, that is, the vibration generated between the housing and the pair of detection rods is reduced. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the possibility that the position of the sliding member fixed to the pair of detection rods and the resistor is shifted due to this vibration. Thereby, the fall of the followability of the rod for detection with respect to the tilt of the holder base can be further improved, and the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror body fixed to the holder base can be further prevented from being lowered. In addition, since vibration generated between the housing and the pair of detection rods can be reduced, vibration of the holder base in which the detection socket portion is tiltably fitted to the tip portions of the pair of detection rods can be reduced. Thereby, the vibration of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base can be reduced, and the visibility of the mirror main body can be prevented from being lowered.
[0012]
According to the present invention, in the rod detection mechanism according to claim 2, the detection means includes a sliding member attached to the pair of detection rods and a resistor housed in the housing. The locking claw is fixed to a sliding member fixing portion formed at a position facing the inner peripheral surface of the detection claw detection rod guide portion. The detection locking guide portion slides on the resistor of the detection mechanism. A notch for moving is formed, and a part of the sliding member fixing portion is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the detection rod guide.
[0013]
According to this invention, the urging force by the elastic member is transmitted from the engaging claws of the pair of detection rods to the inner peripheral surface of the detection rod guide portion. Therefore, the urging force for the sliding member fixed to the sliding member fixing portion to slide on the resistor is not affected by the urging force by the elastic member. As a result, the sliding member can accurately slide on the resistor in accordance with the amount of protrusion and protrusion of the pair of detection rods, and the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base can be improved. Further reduction can be prevented.
[0014]
According to the present invention, in the rod detection mechanism according to the third aspect, the notch is formed in an extending portion formed radially outward of the detection lock guide portion, and the sliding member is fixed. The moving member fixing portion is arranged in the extending portion.
[0015]
According to this invention, the both side surfaces of the sliding member fixing portion to which the sliding member is fixed move in the protruding and retracting direction so as to face the both side surfaces of the extending portion. Therefore, when the holder base is tilted, when the pair of detection rods fitted to the detection socket portion of the holder base is projected and retracted from the housing, the sliding member is fixed even if it tries to rotate. Since both side surfaces of the moving member fixing portion are in contact with both side surfaces of the extending portion, rotation of the pair of detection rods can be restricted. Thereby, the breakage of the sliding member due to the pair of detection rods rotating inside the detection lock guide portion can be prevented. Moreover, it can prevent that a pair of detection rod rotates and the position with respect to a resistor of a sliding member changes. Thereby, it can further prevent that the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base is lowered.
[0016]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, foreign matter can be prevented from entering the holder base like the shaft of the conventional outer mirror detection device. As a result, it is possible to prevent the followability of the detection rod with respect to the tilt of the holder base, and to prevent the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base from being lowered.
[0069]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the force for causing the pair of detection rods to protrude and retract from the housing is increased, that is, the pair of detection rods is caused by vibration generated between the housing and the pair of detection rods. The possibility that the sliding member fixed to the rod and the resistor are displaced can be reduced.
[0070]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the biasing force by the elastic member is transmitted from the engaging claws of the pair of detection rods to the inner peripheral surface of the detection rod guide portion. The urging force for the sliding member fixed to the portion to slide on the resistor is not affected by the urging force of the elastic member. As a result, the sliding member can accurately slide on the resistor in accordance with the amount of protrusion and protrusion of the pair of detection rods, and the detection accuracy of the tilt angle of the mirror main body fixed to the holder base can be improved. Further reduction can be prevented.
[0071]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, when the holder base is tilted, the pair of detection rods fitted to the detection socket portion of the holder base is rotated when the pair of detection rods are projected and retracted from the housing. However, since both side surfaces of the sliding member fixing portion to which the sliding member is fixed are in contact with both side surfaces of the extending portion, it is possible to restrict the pair of detection rods from rotating.
