Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wiring structure in an automobile, and more particularly to a wiring structure in which a wire harness routed on the back surface of a ceiling plate covering the inner surface of a roof panel is drawn out into a vehicle interior.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When the wire harness routed on the back of the ceiling plate is pulled out into the passenger compartment and connected to electrical components such as lamps and sensors in the passenger compartment, a notch is formed in the edge of the ceiling plate, and the wire harness is formed in the notch. The structure is taken out and inserted into the passenger compartment.
[0003]
FIG. 2 shows a typical example of this type of wiring structure, and a notch 22 is formed in the standing front edge 21 of the ceiling plate 2 that covers the inner surface of the roof panel 1 composed of the outer plate 1a and the inner plate 1b. Then, the wire harness 4 routed on the back surface of the ceiling plate 2 is inserted into the notch 22 and pulled out into the vehicle interior, and the connector 40 attached to the tip is installed on the upper inner surface of the windshield 3 and covers the windshield 3. It is connected to a rain sensor 6 that detects rain or the like and controls the operation of the wiper. As a fixing means for the wire harness 4, an adhesive tape 5 is generally used, and the wire harness 4 is adhered to the back surface of the ceiling board 2 with the adhesive tape 5.
[0004]
However, since the attachment with the adhesive tape 5 is performed manually, the wiring position of the wire harness 4 is not always accurate, and the wire harness 4 extending from the notch 22 of the ceiling plate 2 to the tip of the connector 40 is provided. Variations in the drawer length. If it is too short, there is a problem that the connector 40 cannot be connected to the rain sensor 6, and there is a possibility that the wire harness 4 may be damaged if it is forcibly pulled. On the other hand, if the wire harness 4 is too long, the wire harness 4 is bent in a blistering shape and may come into contact with the edges of the joining flange 10 of the outer plate 1a and the inner plate 1b of the roof panel 1 to be damaged. Even if the notch insertion portion of the wire harness 4 is attached to the standing edge 21 from above with an adhesive tape, the adhesion is likely to be incomplete.
[0005]
In Patent Document 1 below, in a wiring structure in which a wire harness is drawn into a vehicle interior by being inserted into a notch formed on an upstanding edge of a ceiling plate, the wire harness is used as a means for positioning the wire harness in a notch at a predetermined site. A wiring structure is described in which a sponge is wound and the end surface of the sponge is brought into contact with the inner surface of the standing edge of the ceiling plate when the wire harness is inserted through the notch.
[0006]
However, the sponge wound around the wire harness is soft and easily deformed, so it is unstable. When the wire harness is pulled with a strong force, the sponge and the wire harness may come out of the notch.

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the present invention accurately inserts a wire harness along a ceiling plate of an automobile into a notch formed at an edge of the ceiling plate, pulls it out into the vehicle interior, and connects it to electrical components in the vehicle interior. It is an object of the present invention to provide a wiring structure that can be positioned and fixed to the notch with good workability.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, a notch is formed in the edge of the ceiling plate covering the inner surface of the roof panel, and a wire harness routed along the back surface of the ceiling plate is inserted into the notch and pulled out into the vehicle interior. In a wiring structure of an automobile to be connected to an electrical component, a wire harness has a main body covering the wire harness at a portion where the cutout is inserted, and a pair of ribs protruding in a hook shape from the outer periphery of the main body and facing each other. The protector is attached, the main body is fitted into the notch, the edges of the ceiling plate on both sides of the notch are fitted between the pair of ribs, and the wire harness is inserted through the protector. The positioning is fixed to the notch (claim 1). At the same time as the main body of the protector is fitted into the notch, the edge of the ceiling plate is fitted between the ribs, and the wire harness is positioned and fixed via the protector.
[0010]
By forming a plurality of protrusions sandwiching the edge of the ceiling plate from both sides on the opposing surfaces of the pair of ribs, the coupling between the rib and the edge can be strengthened (Claim 2).
[0011]
The pair of ribs are formed at one end in the longitudinal direction of the protector, and a connector provided at the tip of a wire harness extending from the one end to the vehicle interior by a predetermined length is connected to the electrical component. ). Since the distance between the one end of the protector and the electrical component in the fixed state is substantially constant, the attachment position of the protector to the wire harness can be determined in advance by the distance.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The roof panel 1 of an automobile is composed of an outer plate 1a and an inner plate 1b which is provided along the outer peripheral inner surface of the outer plate 1a and forms a closed section with the outer plate 1a. An upper edge portion of the windshield 3 is bonded by an adhesive 30 to a joining flange 10 that joins the front edges of the outer plate 1a and the inner plate 1b. A weather strip 31 seals between the upper edge of the windshield 3 and the front end step portion of the outer plate 1a.
[0013]
A rain sensor 6 housed in a case is installed on the inner surface of the upper end of the windshield 3 at the center in the vehicle width direction. The upper end of the windshield 3 is colored. However, the rain sensor 6 mounting portion is a non-colored portion 61 because it is necessary to detect rainwater or the like on the windshield 3.
[0014]
A ceiling plate 2 is installed on the ceiling of the passenger compartment so as to face and cover the roof panel 1. The ceiling plate 2 is a molded ceiling formed by integrally molding a skin, a pad material, and a base material, and the front end is a standing edge 21 that curves and rises in a substantially square shape or L shape. The standing edge 21 has a height that blocks the front of the joint flange 10 of the roof panel 1 and extends to the vicinity of the inner surface of the windshield 3. The standing edge 21 is formed with a substantially U-shaped notch 22 having an upper end opened at the center in the vehicle width direction.
[0015]
A wire harness 4 is routed on the back surface (upper surface) of the ceiling board 2. The wire harness 4 extends in the center in the width direction along the front end of the ceiling plate 2, curves in an L shape, passes through the notch 22, is drawn out into the vehicle compartment along the windshield 3, and a connector 40 attached to the tip is attached. The rain sensor 6 is connected.
[0016]
A protector 7 is attached to the wire harness 4 from a portion inserted through the notch 22 to an L-shaped curved portion. The protector 7 is an integral molded body of a hard synthetic resin, for example, polypropylene, and is curved in an L shape in the length direction with a substantially U-shaped cross section. The body 71 accommodates and covers the wire harness 4; It consists of a pair of ribs 72a and 72b formed on the outer periphery of one end in the direction. The width dimension of the main body 71 is a dimension that can be fitted into the notch 22 of the ceiling board 2.
[0017]
The pair of ribs 72 a and 72 b of the protector 7 protrudes from the outer periphery of one end of the main body 71 in a bowl shape at a uniform height, and the rib 72 a forms one end face of the protector 7. The ribs 72a and 72b are parallel to each other, and the distance between the opposing surfaces is substantially the same as the plate thickness of the standing edge 21 of the ceiling plate 2. On the opposing surfaces of the ribs 72a and 72b, a plurality of small protrusions 73 having rounded tips are formed at the opposing positions. The distance between the tips of the protrusions 73 facing each other is slightly smaller than the plate pressure of the standing edge 21 of the ceiling plate 2. At one end of the protector 7 on which the ribs 72a and 72b are formed, an extending piece 74 is formed which extends so as to extend the upper wall of the main body 71 having a substantially U-shaped cross section and opening downward.
[0018]
The main body 71 of the protector 7 has an opening on the lower side, and the wire harness 4 is bent into an L shape and inserted therethrough. The adhesive tape 5 is wound around the extending pieces 74 at both ends in the longitudinal direction to fix the protector 7 to the wire harness 4. The attachment position of the protector 7 is a position where the length of the wire harness 4 drawn from one end of the protector 7 to the connector 40 at the tip becomes a predetermined length.
[0019]
The protector 7 attached to the wire harness 4 in this way has the ribs 72a. When one end that forms 72b is pushed into the notch 22 of the standing edge 21 of the ceiling plate 2 from above, the main body 71 is fitted into the notch 22, and at the same time, the rising edges 21 on both sides of the notch 22 between the ribs 72a and 72b. Is inserted from below, and the protector 7 is assembled to the standing edge 21 with one touch. At this time, the standing edge 21 is fitted into the protrusions 73 of the ribs 72 a and 72 b while being pressed against each other, and the tips of the protrusions 73 of the ribs 72 a and 72 b facing each other with the protector 7 assembled to the notch 22 are raised edges 21. This prevents the protector 7 from coming off.
[0020]
The wire harness 4 is attached to the ceiling plate 2 at a predetermined interval at a portion along the ceiling plate 2 with an adhesive tape, and is routed to the ceiling plate 2. And the ceiling board 2 in which the wire harness 4 was wired is installed in the vehicle compartment upper part.
[0021]
Since one end of the protector 7 is always fixed to the notch 22 of the ceiling plate 2 in a fixed positional relationship, the distance between the fixed end of the protector 7 and the rain sensor 6 provided on the windshield 3 is constant without variation. is there. Accordingly, the protector 7 is attached to the wire harness 4 in advance by matching one end to a position where the length from the front end of the wire harness 40 to which the connector 40 is attached is substantially the same as the above-mentioned distance, so that the vehicle interior of the wire harness 4 can be obtained. Thus, the connector 40 can be reliably connected to the rain sensor 6 without causing a sag in the drawn portion and without applying a pulling force.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the wire harness routed on the ceiling plate can be positioned and fixed with good workability and surely in the notch at the edge of the ceiling plate by a protector attached around the wire harness. Further, the protector can be securely connected to the electrical components in the passenger compartment without being slackened and without pulling force acting by attaching the protector to the wire harness at a fixed position. Furthermore, since the wire harness is covered by the protector, the wire harness does not come into contact with and damage to the joint flange of the roof panel. The present invention is not limited to the case where the wire harness drawn from the ceiling plate into the vehicle interior is connected to the rain sensor, but can be widely applied to a wiring structure that connects to other electrical components in the vehicle interior.
