【従来の技術】
従来から、遊技盤面上における遊技状態の変化等の状況変化によって、遊技領域上の複数箇所に点在する所定ポイントを狙って打球の発射強度を適宜に調節する必要があるパチンコ遊技機が知られている(例えば、特開平9−285631号、特開平11−169514号)。
即ち、例えば、パチンコ遊技機の遊技盤面に配置された電動入賞装置の作動によって大当たりとなった期間中だけ有利な遊技状態に移行したり、或いは入賞口に打球が入賞することによって大当たりとなって電動入賞装置が継続的に作動するように構成されたパチンコ遊技機が知られている。
例えば、特開平9−285631号公報には、大当たりによる権利発生時に強打ち(右打ち)に変更すべきことを遊技者に確実にアドバイスすることにより、遊技方法を知らない初心者でも不利になることがなく十分に楽しむことができるようにしたパチンコ遊技機が開示されている。
しかし、この従来技術は右打ちに限って初心者が十分に楽しめる構成を採用しているに過ぎず、左打ち、中央左打ち、中央右打ち等々、多種多様な入賞装置の作動状況に応じて着弾ポイントを種々変化させる必要がある機種には適用できない。つまり、操作者は打球の発射強度、即ち着弾ポイントのコントロールを、経験と勘に基づいた遊技球発射ハンドルの回転操作角度調整によってコントロールする必要があるため、当該機種に不慣れな初心者には操作が容易ではなく、敬遠される傾向にある。

しかし、この従来例では、次に狙うべき入賞口が示され、単に打球の発射強度の強弱や弾発方向を漠然と指示するに過ぎず、発射ハンドルを用いた打球の強弱のコントロール方法、特に発射ハンドルをどの程度の角度まで回動させればよいかという具体的な操作方法については、開示されておらず、遊技者は専ら経験と勘によって操作するしかなかった。従って、初心者にとって、指示された操作方法に従って適切な打球発射強度や弾発方向を適宜調整することは容易でなかった。

本発明は上記に鑑みてなされたものであり、遊技盤面上における遊技状態の変化等の状況変化によって、遊技領域上の複数箇所に点在する所定ポイントを狙って打球の発射強度を適宜に調節する必要があるパチンコ遊技機において、遊技者に対して、打球発射強度や打球発射方向を微調整する具体的且つ確実な操作方法を表示することにより、未熟な遊技者であっても十分に楽しむことができるようにしたパチンコ遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

上記目的を達成するため、請求項1の発明は、固定されたハンドル本体、並びに該ハンドル本体によって可動状態に支持され且つ遊技領域内に発射しようとする打球の着弾ポイントを遊技者の操作によって任意に調節可能とする操作レバーを備えた遊技球発射ハンドルを有し、遊技状態に応じて遊技領域内の最適な着弾ポイントが変更されるように構成されたパチンコ遊技機において、現在の遊技状態に応じた最適な着弾ポイントに打ち出すための操作レバーのセット位置を判定する制御手段と、該制御手段による判定結果に基づいた制御によって遊技者に対して最適な操作レバーのセット位置を報知する報知表示手段と、を備え、前記操作レバーに設けた指針部を、前記報知表示手段が示すセット位置に位置合わせすることによって、現在の遊技状態に応じた適切な着弾ポイントに打球が着弾するように構成したことを特徴とする。
遊技の進行状況や展開に応じて、種々の権利状態を発生せしめ、最適な着弾ポイントに変化をもたせることは、遊技の面白味を高める上では重要である。一方、このように最適な着弾ポイントが変化する機種は、操作に不慣れな遊技者にとっては戸惑いをもたらし当該機種に対する興趣を喪失させる原因ともなりかねない。そのようなところから、遊技盤上で着弾ポイントを示すようにした従来例が提案されてはいるが、遊技球発射ハンドルの操作方法が明確に指示されない限り、着弾ポイントに対して正確に打ち出すことは困難となる。
本発明では、遊技状態に応じて変化する着弾ポイントと、各着弾ポイントに対応する遊技球発射装置の弾発力の強度を、遊技球発射ハンドルに設けた報知表示手段によって的確に遊技者に知らしめるようにしたので、報知表示手段により指示された回動角度に操作レバーをセットするだけで、最適な着弾ポイントに対して最適な強度で打ち出すことが可能となる。このため、不慣れな遊技者であっても、当該機種を十分に堪能することが可能となり、飽きが来ることが無くなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、添付図面に基づいて本発明を詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明のパチンコ遊技機の一実施形態の正面図であり、このパチンコ遊技機は、木枠1と、木枠1に対して蝶番によって一側端縁を前後方向へ開閉自在に軸支された前面枠2と、前面枠2によって前後方向へ開閉自在に軸支されたガラス扉3と、前面枠2の内側に着脱自在に取り付けられた遊技盤4と、遊技盤4の背面側に蝶番を介して開閉自在に取り付けられた図示しない合成樹脂製の機構板と、を備えている。
ガラス扉3の下方には、前板6が図示しない発射レールや打球杆を覆うように開閉可能に取り付けられ、前板6の前面には打球供給皿7が設けられる。前面枠2の下部には、遊技球発射装置の一部を構成する遊技球発射ハンドル8が配置されると共に、打球供給皿7上に貯留し切れなくなった遊技球やファール球を貯留する下皿9が配置されている。
遊技盤4の前面を構成する遊技領域11には、例えば中央に複数の図柄を順次上下に移動(回動)させながら表示する図柄変動表示装置12が配置され、その周囲には入賞口13、風車14などの盤面部品、遊技釘が配置される。
遊技盤4の左側縁には、遊技機の下部に配置された遊技球発射装置から発射された遊技球を遊技領域11内に導くための遊技球誘導経路21が上下方向へ延びて形成されている。遊技球誘導経路21は、遊技盤4の左側縁に沿って円弧状に配設された外レール22と、この外レール22の内側(遊技領域側)の遊技盤面上に突設される内レール23との間に形成される遊技球の通路である。外レール22及び内レール23は、一定幅の帯状金属薄板を所定のR形状に湾曲させたものを、遊技盤面に立設固定した構成を備えている。また、遊技球誘導経路21の上部には遊技球誘導経路内を上方へ移動する遊技球を遊技盤4の遊技領域11内に放出する出口部24が配置され、更に出口部24には、遊技球誘導経路21から放出された遊技球が遊技球誘導経路内に逆戻りすることを防止する球戻り防止部材25が配置されている。また、遊技球発射装置から遊技球誘導経路内へ発射された後で球戻り防止部材を越えずに下方へ戻ってきたファール球を受け入れる図示しないファール球排出口が遊技球誘導経路21の下部に配置されている。
符号26は、出口部24から放出された遊技球が時計回り方向に移動してきた際に受け止めるための弾性部材である。

遊技者が遊技球発射ハンドル8に設けた操作レバー41を時計回り方向へ所要角度回動させることにより、打球供給皿7内の遊技球が図示しない打球供給装置により遊技球誘導経路21内に打ち出される。遊技球発射ハンドル8の操作レバー41を時計回り方向へ大きく回動させると打球は強く打ち出されて出口部24よりも遠方へ到達し弾性部材26に当たってから流下する。一方、操作レバー41を所定の角度よりも小さく回動させると打球は弾性部材26の手前で落下する。このように、遊技球発射ハンドル8の回動角度を調整することにより着弾ポイントを任意に調節することができる。
図柄変動表示装置12は、例えばLCD等から成り、図柄作動用ゲート15に打球が入賞すると、数字、記号等の表示が変動し、一定時間後にその表示が停止し、例えば「777」のように一定の確率で表示が揃うと、ソレノイドが作動して特定入賞口16が開放する。そして、特定入賞口16に打球が入賞して所定の時間が経過すると特定入賞口16が閉じ、入賞球のうち少なくとも一個が特定入賞口16内に配置された権利確定用入賞口に入賞すると、電動入賞装置が作動して大当たりの権利が発生する。大当たりの権利が発生している期間中に、特定の入賞口に入賞させることにより多数の景品球を得ることができる。
遊技領域11内における打球の着弾ポイントは、例えば、大別して、左寄り位置、中央左寄り位置、中央右寄り位置、及び右寄り位置に分類することができ、夫々の着弾ポイントに対しては左打ち、中央左打ち、中央右打ち、右打ちによって打ち分けることができる。
しかし、このような4種類の打ち分けを正確に行う技術をもつ遊技者は相当経験を積んだ者に限られ、初心者にとって着弾ポイントの正確な打ち分けは極めて困難な作業である。
本発明では、遊技球発射ハンドル8の構造、及び制御系に対して所要の改良を施すことにより、当該遊技機に不慣れな初心者であっても、目視確認が可能な指示に従ってハンドルを操作するだけで、着弾ポイントの正確な打ち分けを行うことを可能とするものである。

図2(a)は本発明の一実施形態に係る遊技球発射ハンドル8の構成を示す斜視図であり、(b)はその正面図である。
この遊技球発射ハンドル8は、遊技機本体側に固定されたハンドル本体30と、ハンドル本体30の後方に配置されて矢印で示す操作方向へ回動自在に支持された操作レバー41と、を備えている。操作レバー41は、遊技領域内に発射しようとする打球の飛距離、及び着弾ポイントを遊技者の手動操作によって所要角度回動させることによって任意に調節可能にしている。図2(b)に破線で示した操作レバー41の状態は反時計回り方向に最も偏位した初期状態にあり、この状態では遊技球は発射されない。この初期位置から所要角度以上時計回り方向に操作レバー41を回動させた状態にすることにより、操作レバー41の現在の回動角度を示す回動角度検知信号が後述する制御手段へ出力され、制御信号は当該検知信号によって示された操作レバーの回動角度に応じた弾発力によって遊技球を打ち出すための制御信号を遊技球発射装置に出力する。
操作レバー41は、ハンドル本体30の上縁部に沿って前方へ張り出した複数(この例では3つ)の突起42を備え、各突起42に遊技者の指を引っかけることにより操作レバーの回動操作が容易となる。
一方、ハンドル本体30の上縁に沿った前面には、所定の周方向ピッチにてLEDから成る発光手段(報知表示手段32)32a〜32dが配置されている。各LEDは、後述する制御手段による制御によって遊技状態に応じて選択的に点灯し、当該遊技状態における最適な着弾ポイントに打球するための操作レバーのセット位置を遊技者に示す。

操作レバー41を点灯したLEDにより示されたセット位置に位置合わせするためには、例えば3つの突起42の何れか、この例では左端に位置する突起42aの中心位置(指針部42a’)を点灯したLEDに合わせるようにする。
即ち、操作レバー41を非作動位置である初期位置から時計回り方向へ回動操作して点灯したLEDに指針部42a’を合わせることにより、操作レバー41のセット位置(回動角度)を検知した制御部が遊技球発射装置を制御して一定の弾発力にて遊技球を打ち出す。このため、遊技球は一定の精度で遊技領域内の同一箇所に着弾することができる。
なお、セット位置を示す発光手段の位置、間隔、個数等は、図示のものに限定される訳ではなく、種々選定可能である。また、指針部42a’が各セット位置に対して正確に停止できるように位置決め機構を設けるようにしても良い。
また、突起42の形状、個数等についても種々選定可能である。

次に、図3は本発明の他の実施形態に係る遊技球発射ハンドルの正面図であり、図2と同一部分には同一符号を付して重複した構成の説明は省略するが、報知表示手段32の構成が異なっている。
即ち、この実施形態の報知表示手段(着弾ポイント報知手段)32は、内部にLED等の発光源を複数配置したインジケータ状の構成を備え、周方向(長手方向)に所定のピッチにて配置された目盛りによって複数区間に区分けされ、各区画内に一つずつのLEDが配置されている。この報知表示手段32は、図面左端側から右側へ向けて各区画単位でLEDを点灯することにより、指針部42a’を備えた突起42aのセット位置を表示する。図示の状態では報知表示手段32の左から2番目までの区画が点灯しているため、指針部42a’を2番目の区画に該当する位置に合わせている。

次に、図4は本発明のパチンコ遊技機の制御系を示すブロック図である。

以上の構成において、制御手段51は、現在の遊技状態に応じた適切な着弾ポイントに打ち出すことができる操作レバー41のセット位置を検知、判定する機能を備え、制御手段51による判断結果に基づいて報知表示手段32を作動させて遊技者に適切な操作レバーのセット位置を報知する。
遊技者は操作レバー41に設けた指針部42a’を、報知表示手段32が示す特定のセット位置に位置合わせすることによって、現在の遊技状態に応じた適切な着弾ポイントに打球が着弾するように操作することが可能となる。この際、報知表示手段32が示すセット位置に指針部42a’がセットされることによって制御手段51にセットされた旨の信号を出力し、制御手段51は遊技球発射装置に対して当該セット位置に対応する弾発力にて遊技球を打球すべき旨の制御を行う。つまり、制御手段51は、遊技球発射装置による打球の強度を指針部のセット位置に応じて調節するものである。

次に、図5のフローチャートによって図2の実施形態に係る遊技球発射ハンドルの操作手順について説明する。なお、図2においては発光手段32bが示すセット位置に指針部42a’を合致させた状態が通常時における最良の着弾ポイントとなり、大当たり中(右打ち時)は発光手段32dのセット位置が最良の着弾ポイントとなる。
