Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a condensed pigment aqueous pigment dispersion, by which the condensed pigment aqueous pigment dispersion that does not need the change of the composition of raw materials or the like on the designing of a product, does not much increase particles, even when subjected to a high temperature history, does not cause the nozzle clogging, jetting failure and the like of a recording liquid, has high dispersion stability, and gives printed products having excellent light resistance can be produced in excellent productivity, and to provide an aqueous pigment recording liquid. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the aqueous pigment dispersion, having the first process for finely dispersing a condensed azo pigment, an anionic group-containing non-cross-linking polymer, a basic substance, an organic substance and water and the second process for removing the organic solvent from the aqueous pigment dispersion obtained in the first process, is characterized by (1) using an alcoholic solvent or ketonic solvent capable of dissolving the anionic group-containing non-cross-linking polymer and having a boiling point of ≤120°C at the atmospheric pressure and (2) disposing a process for heating the aqueous pigment dispersion containing the organic solvent in a closed system at 100 to 150°C between the first process and the second process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、製品設計における原料等の組成を変更することなく、印字物の耐光性に優れた水性顔料分散体と水性顔料記録液を生産性高く得ることが出来る、水性顔料分散体の製造方法及び水性顔料記録液の製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
非特許文献1にある様に、アゾ顔料は、不溶性アゾ有機顔料、溶性アゾ顔料、縮合アゾ顔料とに分類され、縮合アゾ顔料は、水系中でのジアゾ化−カップリング反応と非水系溶媒中での縮合反応とを組み合わせたアゾ顔料を総称する。この縮合アゾ顔料は、主にイエロー色有機顔料であり、例えば、C.I.Pigment Yellow 93、94、95、128、166等がある。これらは、印刷インキ、塗料、着色成形品、静電荷現像用トナー等、その使用分野も多岐に亘っている。最近では、顔料としての優れた特徴である耐水性、耐光性を活かして、インクジェット記録用水性インク等の水性顔料記録液への適用を考慮した縮合アゾ顔料を含む水性顔料分散体の開発が進められている。

この様な水性顔料分散体としては、例えば、1)スチレン−アクリル系樹脂水性エマルジョンに縮合アゾ顔料を機械的に強制分散した水性顔料分散体、2)縮合アゾ顔料の存在下の水中で分散剤を用いてスチレンやアクリル系モノマーを重合させ必要に応じて会合させた水性顔料分散体、3)縮合アゾ顔料と酸基を有するスチレン−アクリル系樹脂と有機溶剤の混合物を、水と塩基性物質を用いて徐徐に油相から水相に転相させて脱溶剤して得た、縮合アゾ顔料がスチレン−アクリル系樹脂で被覆されたマイクロカプセル型顔料の水性顔料分散体、4)縮合アゾ顔料と酸価を有するスチレン−アクリル系樹脂と塩基性物質と有機溶剤と水との均一混合物から脱溶剤を行い、酸性物質を加えて酸析し析出物を洗浄後、この析出物を塩基性物質と共に水性媒体に分散させて得た、縮合アゾ顔料がスチレン−アクリル系樹脂で被覆されたマイクロカプセル型顔料の水性顔料分散体等が知られている。

この様な従来技術としては、例えば特許文献1及び2等が知られている。
そして特許文献1には、縮合アゾ顔料として典型的なC.I.PigmentYellow 128単独又はそれに一部C.I.Pigment Yellow 74等を併用してマイクロカプセル型顔料を含む水性顔料分散体を得た後、そこに含まれるメチルエチルケトン(本発明における常圧における沸点が120℃以下のケトン系溶剤に相当する。以下同様。)を、ガラス製蒸留装置に入れ開放系にて常圧蒸留除去し、次いで環流状態で2時間保持することが記載されている。メチルエチルケトンと水とは共沸するので、この蒸留と環流の操作により、不可避的に、理論上では最大100℃の温度履歴を受ける。

特許文献2には、顔料と酸価90以下のアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と水とを含有する水性顔料分散体を65〜75℃で20〜50時間にわたって加熱処理する水性顔料分散体の製造方法が記載されている。ここには、有機顔料として縮合アゾ顔料が使用できることも記載されている。この実施例3には、有機溶剤を含まない、未加熱処理のアゾ顔料の水性顔料分散体を、開放系の70℃にて20時間加熱することが記載されている。

しかしながら、これらの製造方法で得られた水性顔料分散体を用いてインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液を調製すると、いずれも調製直後では分散粒子の大きさは適当であるが、高温では短期間で必要以上に分散粒子が大きくなる(増粒する)という特徴を有しており、記録液のノズル目詰まりや吐出不良の原因となりうる。この分散粒子の増粒は、水性顔料記録液の調整時に添加される水溶性有機溶剤と顔料、樹脂との相互作用による水性顔料分散体中の分散粒子の粒子成長と密接に関連していると考えられるが、その詳細は未だ明らかにされていない。同様の傾向は、水性顔料分散体、特に水溶性有機溶剤を含んでいる水性顔料分散体に於いても多少なりとも現れる。

また、前記のインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液を用いてインクジェット記録を行った印字物の耐光性についても十分に満足のいくレベルではなく、光の作用により変色を起こし、光照射により印字濃度が低下するという問題を有していた。

そこで、本発明者らは、上記問題点を解決すべく鋭意検討したところ、水性顔料分散体の製造工程中の分散工程で何らかの要因により、縮合アゾ顔料粒子の表面活性が高くなっており、これにより分散安定性を低下させる分散粒子の増粒や、熱や光に対して印字濃度が低下すると仮定し、その原因を探るべく種種の実験を行った。

その結果、耐光性に優れた印字物を与える水性顔料分散体を得るには、密閉系で100℃を超え150℃以下となる様に加熱する工程を付加することが有効であることがわかった。こうして得られた水性顔料分散体から調製した水性顔料記録液が、常態と高温長時間の履歴を受けた後の各分散粒子の平均粒子径の差が小さく、光による印字物の変色の度合いが小さいことがわかった。

一方で、前記した特許文献2には、水溶性有機溶剤を含まない加熱処理されていない水性顔料分散体に湿潤剤、低沸点有機溶剤、水等を更に加えて得た水性顔料記録液を得た後、この水性顔料記録液を65〜75℃で20〜50時間にわたって加熱処理する水性顔料記録液の製造方法も記載されている。この実施例2には、未加熱処理の水性顔料分散体に、グリセリン、トリエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル等の湿潤剤と水を加えて希釈し水性顔料記録液を得た後、開放系の70℃にて20時間加熱することが記載されている。

しかしながら、この様な水性顔料記録液を加熱する方法では、前記した水性顔料分散体での加熱に比べて、有機顔料の濃度がより低い状態において加熱が行われること、かつ、比較的低温で加熱が行われることから、印字の耐光性に優れた水性顔料記録液が得られにくいし、たとえ印字の耐光性に優れた水性顔料記録液が得られるにしても、水性顔料記録液の生産性は著しく劣ったものとなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、製品設計における原料等の組成を変更することなく、高温の履歴を受けてもあまり増粒せず、インクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に用いても記録液のノズル目詰まりや吐出不良等が生じない高度な分散安定性を有し、印字物の耐光性に優れ、かつ生産性にも優れた縮合アゾ顔料の水性顔料分散体の製造方法及び水性顔料記録液の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで本発明者らは、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意検討を行ったところ、増粒、耐光変色の一因は水性顔料分散体もしくは水性顔料記録液中に含まれる縮合アゾ顔料粒子の表面活性が高くなっていることにあると推定し、縮合アゾ顔料とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と塩基性物質と有機溶剤と水とを微分散して水性顔料分散体を製造する工程と、この水性顔料分散体から前記有機溶剤を除去する工程とを有する水性顔料記録液用水性顔料分散体の製造方法において、有機溶剤として特定の有機溶剤を用い、かつ、前記二つの工程の間において水性顔料分散体を閉鎖系で100℃を超え150℃以下で加熱する様にして、縮合アゾ顔料の表面を改質することで、高温の履歴を受けてもあまり増粒せず、印字物の耐光性に優れる水性顔料記録液を調製し得る水性顔料分散体が、開放系で100℃以下で加熱される場合より、より生産性高く得られることを見い出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

また、この様な水性顔料分散体の段階で加熱処理を行い、水を必須成分として希釈して調製した水性顔料記録液は、水性顔料分散体の段階で加熱処理を行わず水性顔料記録液で初めて加熱をする場合よりも、生産性高く水性顔料記録液を製造することが出来ることを見い出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

即ち本発明は、縮合アゾ顔料とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と塩基性物質と有機溶剤と水とを、微分散して、前記縮合アゾ顔料及び前記アニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物からなる分散粒子で、かつ、平均粒子径が200nm以下の分散粒子と前記有機溶剤とを含有する水性顔料分散体を製造する第1工程と、第1工程で得た水性顔料分散体から前記有機溶剤を除去する第2工程とを有する水性顔料記録液用水性顔料分散体の製造方法において、
(1)前記有機溶剤として、前記アニオン性基含有非架橋性高分子化合物を溶解し、かつ、常圧における沸点が120℃以下のアルコール系溶剤又はケトン系溶剤を用いること、及び
(2)前記第1工程と前記第2工程との間に、前記有機溶剤を含有する水性顔料分散体を閉鎖系で100℃を超え150℃以下で加熱する工程を設けることを特徴とする水性顔料記録液用水性顔料分散体の製造方法を提供する。

【発明の実施形態】
本発明において、第1工程では、縮合アゾ顔料とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と塩基性物質と特定有機溶剤と水とを、微分散して、縮合アゾ顔料及びアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物からなる分散粒子で、かつ、平均粒子径が200nm以下の分散粒子と特定有機溶剤とを含有する水性顔料分散体を製造する。

本発明では、この特定有機溶剤として、前記アニオン性基含有非架橋性高分子化合物を溶解し、かつ、常圧における沸点が120℃以下のアルコール系溶剤又はケトン系溶剤(以下、特定有機溶剤という。)が選択して用いられる。

この第1工程で製造された水性顔料分散体は、以下、均一混合物という。この均一混合物は、後記する加熱工程を経ているか否かの点を除き、水性顔料分散体と同義である。

本発明において水性媒体とは、水のみまたは水と特定有機溶剤との混合物で質量換算で60%以上の水を含んでいるものを言う。
前記均一混合物及び本発明の製造方法で得られる前記水性顔料分散体の水性媒体に分散している粒子(以下、分散粒子という。)は、縮合アゾ顔料及びアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物からなる。これら顔料と有機高分子化合物とは独立した粒子であっても良いが、アニオン性基含有非架橋有機高分子化合物で被覆された縮合アゾ顔料である、マイクロカプセル型複合粒子であっても良い。また、これらの混合物であっても良い。以下、前記した各粒子を総括して分散粒子という。

そして、前記均一混合物及び本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体には、いずれの粒子形態にせよ前記分散粒子が、平均粒子径が200nm以下、好ましくは50〜200nmとなる様に分散している。

ここで、本発明における分散粒子の平均粒子径は、動的光散乱法(ドップラー散乱光解析)によるもので、レーザードップラ型粒度分析計マイクロトラック〔MICROTRAC(登録商標)UPA150型、リーズ&ノースロップ社製〕で測定したメディアン径を持って表すことが出来る。本発明における好適な実施形態、例えば実施例における分散粒子における平均粒子径は、縮合アゾ顔料粒子とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物粒子とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物で被覆された縮合アゾ顔料たるマイクロカプセル型複合粒子全体の平均粒子径である。

本発明で用いる有機顔料は、縮合アゾ顔料である。縮合アゾ顔料は、主にイエロー色有機顔料であり、例えば、C.I.Pigment Yellow 93、94、95、128、166等が挙げられる。これらは表面改質を行うという点でいずれも好適に使用できるが、顕著な効果が得られるという点で、C.I.Pigment Yellow 128を用いることが特に好ましい。

この様な縮合アゾ顔料は、前記均一混合物及び本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体中、質量換算による縮合アゾ顔料含有率8%を超え40%以下となる様に、好ましくは、8.5〜30%となる様に調製する。

本発明の製造方法によれば、第1工程で製造された均一混合物は、後に詳記する加熱工程を経ると、前記した印字耐光性のみならず、高温の履歴を受けても増粒せず、分散粒子の平均粒子径の変化が小さく、インクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に用いても記録液のノズル目詰まりや吐出不良等が生じない高度な分散安定性を有した水性顔料分散体となる。

従来、当業界では水性顔料分散体や水性顔料記録液の原料、化学組成等の変更やそれら使用量の増減の微調整にて、前記した特性を得るべく研究開発が進められて来たが、本発明の製造方法によれば、対症療法的な、煩雑な変更や微調整を行わず実質的に物理的操作のみで、前記した特性を得ることが出来る。

本発明において、第2工程では、こうして加熱工程を経て製造された水性顔料分散体から特定有機溶剤を除去することで、水性顔料記録液用水性顔料分散体を製造することが出来る。

縮合アゾ顔料の水性顔料分散体の製造方法は、上記の従来の技術の欄に記載した1)〜4)の様に、幾つもの製造方法が知れられている。本発明の製造方法は、これらの製造方法のいずれにも適用することが出来るが、従来技術4)に上記加熱工程を適用する際には、次の様に行うことが出来る。この方法は好適な方法である。

まず、縮合アゾ顔料とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と塩基性物質と有機溶剤と水とを微分散して水性顔料分散体(均一混合物)を製造し、この均一混合物から脱溶剤を行い、酸性物質を加えて酸析し析出物を洗浄後、この析出物を塩基性物質と共に水性媒体に分散させる、前記マイクロカプセル型複合粒子の水性顔料分散体の製造方法に従って、第1工程に当たる前記水性顔料分散体(均一混合物)を製造する工程で、縮合アゾ顔料とアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と塩基性物質と特定有機溶剤と水とを、前記所定平均粒子径なる様に、後記する分散装置を用いて微分散する。

この微分散は、好適には、例えば、後に詳記する様に、粉砕媒体と回転数と時間を選択し、攪拌羽根等を必要に応じて併用し、粉砕媒体の運動エネルギーにより被分散物の混合分散を行い、均一な分散物を調製する装置(以下、メディアミルという。)を用いて行う。

本発明の製造方法における、特定有機溶剤を含有する水性顔料分散体を加熱した後に得られる水性顔料分散体中において、縮合アゾ顔料は、アニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物と別個の粒子として存在している場合より、前記マイクロカプセル型複合粒子として存在しているのが好ましく、前記した状態となる様に分散させた場合に、より分散レベルおよび分散安定性に優れた水性顔料分散体を得ることができる。

本発明におけるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物は、架橋性を有さずしかも架橋した部分も有さないが、アニオン性基を有するものである。本発明における非架橋性とは、熱や光等の作用があっても架橋せず、しかも結果的にも架橋した部分を含まないことを意味する。この様なアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物としては、例えばカルボキシル基、スルホン基、ホスホ基、チオカルボキシル基等を含有するアニオン性基含有モノマーとこれらアニオン性基含有モノマーと共重合し得るその他のモノマーを共重合させて得られるアニオン性基含有非架橋有機高分子化合物が挙げられる。

しかしながら、原料モノマーの入手のしやすさ、価格等を考慮すると、カルボキシル基またはスルホン基を含有するアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物が好ましく、電気的中性状態とアニオン状態の共存範囲を広く制御できる点でカルボキシル基を含有するアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物が特に好ましい。

アニオン性基含有モノマーと共重合し得るその他のモノマーとしては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸n−ブチルの様な(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、(メタ)アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシプロピルの様な(メタ)アクリル酸ヒドロキシアルキル等の不飽和脂肪酸エステル類;(メタ)アクリルアミドの様な不飽和脂肪酸アミド類;(メタ)アクリロニトリルの様な不飽和ニトリル類;酢酸ビニル、プロピオン酸ビニルの様なカルボン酸不飽和エステル類;エチルビニルエーテル、ブチルビニルエーテルの様なの不飽和エーテル類;スチレン、α−メチルスチレンの様なスチレン類;上記例示モノマー中のカルボキシル基、水酸基、アミノ基等活性水素を有する置換基を含有するモノマーとエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、シキロヘキセンオキシド等、エポキシド類との反応生成物;上記例示モノマー中の水酸基、アミノ基等を有する置換基を含有するモノマーと酢酸、プロピオン酸、ブタン酸、ヘキサン酸、デカン酸、ドデカン酸等カルボン酸類との反応生成物等を挙げることができる。

かかるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物は、塊状重合、溶液重合、懸濁重合、乳化重合等の従来より公知の種々の反応方法によって合成することができる。

本発明の第1工程で用いられるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物の重量平均分子量は2,000〜100,000の範囲にあることが好ましく、5,000〜50,000の範囲にあることが特に好ましい。重量平均分子量が小さすぎると均一混合物又は本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体自体の分散安定性が低下し、大きすぎると分散体の粘度が高くなるだけでなく、分散性が低下する傾向が認められる。また重量平均分子量が小さすぎたり大きすぎる場合には、水性顔料分散体を例えばインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に適用した場合に、印字特性に関して悪影響を及ぼし、長期間安定した印字を行わせることが困難になることもがあるので好ましくない。

また本発明の第1工程に用いられるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物の酸価およびガラス転移点はそれぞれ30〜220mgKOH/gおよび−20〜200℃の範囲にあることが好ましい。前記調製に用いるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物の酸価が低すぎる場合には、それを含む均一混合物又は本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体の分散性や分散安定性が低下し、またそれを含む均一混合物又は本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体をインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に適用した場合の印字安定性が悪くなるので好ましくない。前記調製に用いるアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物の酸価が高すぎる場合には、それを含む均一混合物又は本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体をインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に適用した場合に印字の耐水性が低下するので好ましくない。

アニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物のガラス転移点が高すぎる場合には、それを含む均一混合物又は本発明の製造方法で得られる水性顔料分散体をインクジェット記録用水性インクの様な水性顔料記録液の調製に適用した場合に安定した印字が得にくく、低すぎる場合には、記録液からの印字の耐摩擦性、耐棒積み性等の印字保存性が低下する傾向がある。

本発明の製造方法は、アニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物を用いることを特徴としている。エポキシ基等の架橋性基を有するアニオン性基含有架橋性有機高分子化合物を用いて上記従来技術4)の製造方法で、架橋された有機高分子化合物で顔料粒子が被覆されたマイクロカプセル型複合粒子を含む水性顔料分散体を製造する方法も考えられ、この場合には、このエポキシ基の架橋を遂行する条件、例えば環流下での加熱等が行われる(特許文献1実施例1参照)。しかしながら、本発明で用いられるのは、加熱による架橋性を有さないし結果的に架橋もしていないアニオン性基含有非架橋性有機高分子化合物であるため、架橋に要する温度となる様な加熱工程を設ける必然性はない。従って、非架橋性の有機高分子化合物を用いた均一混合物からなる水性顔料分散体を、脱溶剤での条件を超えた厳しい条件で加熱する工程を付加的に設けること自体必然性がなく、当業者の常識を逸脱しており、本発明の加熱工程で奏される技術的効果は、当業者が予想出来なかったものである。

滴下装置、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、攪拌装置及び還流冷却管を備えた容量3リットルの四つ口フラスコに、メチルエチルケトン1,000部を仕込み、窒素シール下に、攪拌しながら液温を78℃まで昇温させた後、下記から成る混合液を4時間かけて滴下した。更に、同温度で8時間反応を続けた。反応混合物を室温まで放冷した後、不揮発分が50%になるようにメチルエチルケトン(MEK)を加えて希釈して、酸価130、ガラス転移点(計算値)53℃、水酸基価32、重量平均分子量20,000の非架橋性有機高分子化合物のMEK溶液(A)を得た。

<実施例1>
(1)顔料分散工程
25%水酸化ナトリウム37部にイオン交換水563部を加えて攪拌し、均一になったところへ、更に合成例1で得られた有機高分子化合物のMEK溶液(A)200部を加え、有機高分子化合物中のカルボキシル基を100%中和すると共に、有機高分子化合物を溶解させた。
次いで、Irgaphor Yellow 8G−CF(チバ・スペシャリティケミカルス社製黄色縮合アゾ顔料。C.I.Pigment Yellow 128)200部を攪拌を続けながらゆっくりと添加し、添加終了後更に30分間よく攪拌して縮合アゾ顔料の懸濁液を得た。
この縮合アゾ顔料の懸濁液を、0.3mmのジルコニアビーズをローターとベッセル間の空隙に対して105容量%充填した充填した分散装置(SCミル110/32型、三井鉱山(株)製)を用いて、2700回転/分にて6時間分散し、平均粒径が140nm以下の、塩基性物質で中和されたカルボキシル基を有する非架橋性有機高分子化合物と縮合アゾ顔料とMEKと水からなる均一混合物を得た。これは安定な水性顔料分散体の状態であった。

(2)加圧加熱処理工程
得られた均一混合物の不揮発分が15%になるようにイオン交換水で希釈した後、液中のメチルエチルケトン濃度をガスクロマトグラフ((株)島津製作所製GC−14B)により分析し、その濃度が5.5%になるようにMEKを追加した。この均一混合物を閉鎖系のオートクレーブ中に仕込み、140℃で4時間攪拌加熱した。
(3)溶剤蒸留除去工程
得られた水性顔料分散体にイオン交換水を加え、不揮発分が10%になるように希釈した後、常圧蒸留によってMEKと水の一部を留去した。
(4)酸析工程
攪拌しながら溶剤蒸留後の水性顔料分散体に2%塩酸を徐々に加えて、pHを3〜5とし、非架橋性有機高分子化合物を析出させ、カルボキシル基を有する非架橋性有機高分子化合物で縮合アゾ顔料を被覆した。
(5)濾過工程及び水洗工程
カルボキシル基を有する非架橋性有機高分子化合物で被覆された縮合アゾ顔料スラリーを濾過、水洗して、ウェットケーキを得た。

(6)再分散工程
ウエットケーキにイオン交換水を加え不揮発分23%に調整し、ディスパーで攪拌下、水酸化カリウムの10%水溶液を加え分散体のpHを8.5〜9.9とした。更に、1時間攪拌を続けて再分散した。
(7)遠心分離工程
遠心分離機(50A−IV型、(株)佐久間製作所製)にて粗大粒子を除去した後、水を加えて、不揮発分が20%になるように調整して、塩基性物質で中和されたカルボキシル基を有する非架橋性有機高分子化合物で縮合アゾ顔料が被覆されてなる顔料(マイクロカプセル型複合粒子)を含む水性顔料分散体を得た。

(9)分散安定性の評価
得られた水性顔料記録液を70℃3日間貯蔵し、その前後での平均粒子径を比較した。平均粒子径はレーザードップラ型粒度分析計マイクロトラック〔MICROTRAC(登録商標)UPA150型、リーズ&ノースロップ社製〕で測定したメディアン径を持って平均粒子径とした。粘度はR型粘度計(R−500型、東機産業(株)製)を用い、20℃にて測定した。結果を表1に示す。

(10)耐光性の評価
得られた水性顔料記録液を用い、ピエゾ方式のインクジェットプリンタ(MJ−8000C型、セイコーエプソン(株)製)にてカラーBJペーパー(キャノン(株)製)に印字を行った。得られた印字物を耐光試験機(FAL−5H型、スガ試験機(株)製)で300時間の耐光試験を行い、試験前後の印字濃度を比較した。印字濃度はグレタグ濃度計〔GRETAG(登録商標)D186型、グレタグ社製〕を用いてイエロースケールにて測定した。結果を表1に示す。
