Abstract

Claims (17)
- 脊柱(1)を矯正して安定させるための生体埋め込み具であって、椎骨(3)にねじ込み可能な取り付けネジ(4)と、少なくとも一つの取り付けネジ(4)のネジ頭(5)に接続される接続部材(6)とからなるものにおいて、
接続部材(6)がスパイラル(7)からなり、スパイラルの蛇行部が、らせんに沿って軸方向に位置をずらすようにして配置されることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。 - 請求項1に記載の生体埋め込み具において、スパイラル(7)の内側に、スパイラル(7)の軸方向寸法の少なくとも一部の領域に、スパイラル芯部(8)が配されることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項2に記載の生体埋め込み具において、スパイラル芯部(8)が棒からなることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項3に記載の生体埋め込み具において、前記棒が、チタンもしくは手術用鋼、またはその他の金属からなることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項3または4に記載の生体埋め込み具において、前記棒が、複数の互いに別体の棒断片(9)からなり、曲げ剛性、またはその他の材料特性において、差を有することを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項2に記載の生体埋め込み具において、スパイラル(7)が2重に備えられ、一のスパイラル(7)が、他のスパイラル(7)の内部に配されたことを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項6に記載の生体埋め込み具において、2つのスパイラル(7)は、蛇行部が、回転方向について逆向きに延びていることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項6または7に記載の生体埋め込み具において、スパイラル芯部(8)が、内側のスパイラル(7)の内部に、該スパイラル(7)の軸方向寸法の少なくとも一部の領域にわたって配されたことを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の生体埋め込み具において、取り付けネジ(4)のネジ頭(5)には、スパイラル(7)を差し込むための抜き部が割り当てられ、、スパイラル(7)をこの抜き部中で固定するための締め付け具が備えられることを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項9に記載の生体埋め込み具において、前記締め付け具が、締め付けネジからなり、2つの隣り合うスパイラル蛇行部の間に噛み合わされて係止を行うことを特徴とする生体埋め込み具。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の生体埋め込み具用のスパイラルにおいて、スパイラル(7)が平形金属線からなることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項11に記載のスパイラルにおいて、スパイラル(7)がチタンもしくは手術用鋼、またはその他の金属からなることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項12に記載のスパイラルにおいて、前記平形金属線の材料の厚みが0.4mm〜2.8mm、または、より好ましい1.2mmであることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項12または13に記載のスパイラルにおいて、前記平形金属線の材料の幅が2mm〜8mm、または、より好ましい4mm〜6mmであることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項12〜14のいずれかに記載のスパイラルにおいて、内径が2.5mm〜7.5mm、または、より好ましい3.2mm〜4.6mmであることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項12〜15のいずれかに記載のスパイラルにおいて、隣り合うスパイラル蛇行部間の間隔が0.5〜2.5mmであることを特徴とするスパイラル。
- 請求項16に記載のスパイラルであって、外側スパイラル(7)の内部で用いるものにおいて、隣り合うスパイラル蛇行部間の間隔が、外側のスパイラル(7)におけるよりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とするスパイラル。
