BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically and quantitatively supplying balls to a container.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, balls are supplied to a container by aligning the containers and manually removing the balls from a pooled box. However, in such a manual method, human error such as forgetting to put the ball into the container or incorrect quantity has occurred. In addition, in order to prevent forgetting to put in the ball, inspection was performed by hand to check the presence of the ball in the container in a separate process. Problems such as release and forgotten inspection occurred.
[0003]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention focuses on uncertainties in manual work such as forgetting to put in a ball, and an apparatus for reliably aligning balls pooled in a hopper with a slitter. An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems by automating a device for taking out a quantitative ball from the aligned ball row and putting it into a container, and the presence / absence inspection of the ball in the container.
[0004]
The present invention provides a slitter unit having a ball alignment unit for taking out a row of balls in a row from a large number of balls randomly pooled in a hopper, and a fixed amount from the aligned ball rows. And a container supply / inspection unit having a function of aligning and conveying the container into which the ball has been placed and inspecting the presence / absence of the ball.
The present invention is described in detail below. First, put the ball into the hopper. The bottom portion of the hopper is inclined from the side surface toward the lowermost central groove portion, and the lowermost central groove portion has a width corresponding to one row of balls. A slitter in which grooves for aligning balls in one row are formed is provided in the groove portion. Then, when the slitter is raised, it is possible to take out one row of one row of balls on the slitter. Further, a discharge port is provided on the side surface of the hopper in contact with the uppermost part of the slitter, and a ball rolls from the discharge port and is supplied to the ball supply device through a cylindrical chute. Further, the ball supply device of the present invention is not limited to the container into which the balls are thrown in, and is not limited as long as the amount of balls to be supplied is fixed.
The row of balls supplied to the ball supply device via the chute is pooled vertically above the separator. One end of the separator is provided with a hole for receiving a fixed amount of balls, and has a mechanism for taking out the fixed amount of balls by sliding the separator. The ball set in the hole at the tip of the separator is supplied to a container aligned below through a nozzle. The container filled with the balls is transported by a conveyor, passes through a ball presence / absence inspection machine, and is discharged to a subsequent process.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 is an overall view of the apparatus, FIG. 2 is a detailed view of a ball aligning section, and FIG. 3 is a detailed view of a ball supply section.
First, a ball feeder using the present invention will be described as an example. The ball 1 is put into the hopper 8 shown in FIG. 1 and pooled. When the apparatus is operated, the proximity sensor 2 of the ball supply apparatus shown in FIG. 3 confirms the presence or absence of the ball 1 in the chute 9. When the sensor 2 does not confirm the presence of the ball, the ball aligning device shown in FIG. 2 operates to supply the ball 1 to the chute 9.
Further, the mechanism will be described in detail below. The balls 1 pooled in the hopper 8 shown in FIG. 2 gather in the central groove along the slope of the bottom of the hopper 8. The groove is set to a width that allows one ball 1 to enter. A slitter 12 is installed in the groove so as not to protrude upward from the groove, and the ball 1 is placed on the alignment groove provided on the slitter 12. Next, when the sensor 2 does not recognize the presence of the ball, the cylinder 13 is operated, and the slitter 12 is raised vertically in the hopper. In the upper part of the slitter 12, an alignment groove in which the balls can be arranged in one row is provided, and the balls 1 are lifted so as to scoop up only one row. When the slitter 12 rises vertically from the groove portion of the hopper 8, the disordered so-called bridge state of the balls 1 generated around the groove portion of the hopper 8 is destroyed, and the balls 1 are always accumulated in the groove portion at the center of the hopper bottom and continuously. The ball 1 has a function of being placed on the alignment groove provided on the slitter 12.
Next, a ball discharge port is provided in the hopper that is in contact with one of the positions where the slitter 12 is raised to the top, and the alignment groove is inclined from the opposite end of the slitter toward the slitter 12 in contact with the discharge port. Is provided. Of course, the slitter has a structure in which the slitter end portion on the side in contact with the discharge port is lower than the opposite portion. As a result, the ball 1 rolls onto the chute 9 when the slitter rises to the top. The slitter 12 is lowered to the original position, that is, the groove at the center of the hopper bottom after waiting for a certain time. By this operation, the ball 1 passes through the chute 9 and is supplied to the ball standby unit 7 of the ball supply device shown in FIG. This operation is repeated until the sensor 2 confirms the presence of the ball 1.
Next, the ball supply device will be described with reference to FIG. The balls 1 of the ball standby section 7 stand in a line in a vertical state, and their tips communicate with holes that are opened in the separator 3, and the balls 1 are supplied to these holes. Since the hole is dimensioned so that the ball 1 enters a predetermined amount, the fixed amount of ball 1 enters the hole of the separator 3. The container 6 is carried by a conveyor on the ball feeder main body and stopped by a stopper under the nozzle 5. At the same time as the container 6 is stopped, the cylinder 4 is operated, the separator 3 is advanced, and a fixed amount of balls that have entered the holes of the separator 3 are moved. When the forward limit position of the separator 3 is reached, the position of the hole of the separator 3 and the position of the hole of the nozzle 5 match, and the ball 1 drops the nozzle 5 and the ball 1 is supplied to the container 6.
When the ball is supplied, the stopper is opened and the container 6 moves to the next process.
Next, the container 6 passes the proximity sensor 10 shown in FIG. This sensor checks for the presence of a ball in the container. When the sensor 10 confirms the presence of the ball, it is determined that the ball 1 is in the container 6, and the container 6 is moved to the next process. And when the sensor 10 cannot confirm presence of a hall | hole, an alarm is sounded as abnormality and a machine is stopped. Next, the container 6 that has passed the sensor 10 is moved to the next process by the side conveyor 11 shown in FIG.
[0013]
According to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained by the configuration and operation of the apparatus described above. Since the pooled balls in the hopper are scooped up and aligned, it is difficult to apply extra force to the balls, and the balls are protected. Further, since the balls pooled in the hopper are picked up by the vertical movement of the slitter, it is possible not only to take out the balls in the hopper but also to break the bridge of the balls generated at the bottom at the same time. For this reason, it is possible to take out the balls in the hopper to the end with a simple structure without the need to install other devices for breaking the bridge.
Since the groove on the upper side of the slitter can be sized for one row of balls, extra balls arranged in tandem fall down more naturally than the slitter. That is, there is no need for a device or the like for breaking the balls, and it is not necessary to apply an extra external force. Therefore, the structure of the apparatus becomes simpler. Further, since the ball can be supplied to the chute by the inclination of the slit of the slitter, a simple structure can be obtained.
Since the shape of the chute can be a cylindrical shape having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the ball, overlapping of the balls is naturally eliminated, and the ball can be smoothly supplied to the separator. It became possible, and the fixed quantity removal of the ball was enabled. By using the apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to automate the ball supply operation, and a stable ball supply operation is possible. In addition, by using the device of the present invention, it is possible to make the device itself a simple structure, and as a result, it is possible to automate the ball supply without applying an excessive load to the ball, resulting in human error. It was also possible to eliminate the problem, and the effect of improving work efficiency was obtained.
