Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0050】
【0051】
<評価>
【0057】
【0058】
<評価>
【0062】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a support and a pneumatic runflat tire disposed inside a tire so that the tire can travel a considerable distance even when the internal air pressure is reduced due to puncture or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Run-flat running is possible with a pneumatic tire, that is, a tire (hereinafter, referred to as a run-flat tire) that can run with a certain distance with confidence even when the tire pressure becomes 0 kg / cm 2 due to puncturing. 2. Description of the Related Art A core-type run flat tire in which a core (support) is attached to a rim portion in a tire air chamber is known (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
As for the configuration of the core (support), a shell (support) as a main component is made of, for example, metal such as steel, and a rubber leg as an attached member has a contact with a rim. Assembled in the department. The purpose of attaching the legs to the shell (supporting portion) is to improve the running stability during run flat running and to facilitate the work of assembling and releasing the rim.
[0004]
By the way, at the time of run-flat running, the rigidity cannot be reduced because the rubber leg supports the load. On the other hand, when the rigidity of the leg is increased, the contact portion of the leg with the rim is less likely to be elastically deformed according to the shape of the rim. For this reason, in order to ensure the fit of the leg to the rim, it is necessary to select a difficult material for the leg.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a support and a pneumatic run-flat tire having a good fit to a rim in consideration of the above fact.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The support according to the present invention described in claim 1 is disposed inside the pneumatic tire, and has an annular support portion that receives a load during run flat running, and is attached to the support portion, and is attached to the rim together with the pneumatic tire. And a leg for supporting the load during the run flat running to the rim. The leg is composed of a high-rigid elastic body on the tire radial outside and a low-rigid elastic body on the tire radial inside. It is a laminated elastic body having a layer.
[0008]
According to the support of the present invention as set forth in claim 1, the support is disposed inside the pneumatic tire and is assembled to the rim together with the pneumatic tire. The leg attached to the rim is a laminated elastic body including two layers of a high rigid elastic body on the outer side in the tire radial direction and a low rigid elastic body on the inner side in the tire radial direction. Thereby, when the rim is assembled and the rim is released, the low-rigidity elastic body is greatly deformed, so that the work is facilitated. Here, when the rim is assembled, the load acting on the support portion can be reduced by deforming the low-rigidity elastic body, so that deformation of the support portion can be suppressed.
[0009]
When the run flat tire is mounted on the vehicle, the support portion receives the vehicle weight when the internal pressure of the pneumatic tire is lowered and is supported on the rim via the leg portion, so that run flat traveling is possible. During run-flat running, the high-rigidity elastic body ensures the support strength of the legs, reduces the deformation of the entire legs, and suppresses the detachment of the legs from the rim. In addition, the low rigidity elastic body on the inner side in the tire radial direction is elastically deformed according to the shape of the rim of the leg mounted on the rim. Therefore, during normal running (during non-run-flat running), the low-rigidity elastic body maintains the state of close contact with the rim and suppresses the idling of the support, thereby maintaining a good tire balance and improving uniformity. improves.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first aspect, the tire radial dimension L of the high-rigid elastic body and the tire radial dimension M of the low-rigid elastic body are 3 mm ≦ M. ≤ L / 4.
[0011]
According to the support of the present invention described in claim 2, the leg portion is such that the tire radial dimension L of the high rigid elastic body and the tire radial dimension M of the low rigid elastic body are 3 mm ≦ M ≦ L / 4 is obtained. The reason for setting M ≧ 3 mm is to make the low-rigid elastic body have a certain thickness or more to facilitate the elastic deformation of the legs according to the shape of the rim and to ensure the fit to the rim. The reason for ≦ L / 4 is to reduce the deformation of the entire leg and to prevent the leg from coming off the rim.
[0012]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the support according to the first or second aspect, the hardness Hs1 of the material of the high-rigidity elastic body is 65 ≦ Hs1 ≦ 80 (former JIS A-K6301). ), Wherein the hardness Hs2 of the material of the low rigidity elastic body is 20 ≦ Hs2 ≦ 40 (former JIS A-K6301).
[0013]
According to the support of the present invention described in claim 3, the hardness Hs1 of the material of the high-rigidity elastic body is 65 ≦ Hs1 ≦ 80 (former JIS A-K6301). By setting the hardness Hs1 to 65 ≦ Hs1, the load during run-flat running can be supported without increasing the supporting area of the legs, and by setting the hardness Hs1 to Hs1 ≦ 80, the legs can be assembled when the rim is assembled. And the load acting on the supporting portion can be reduced. The hardness Hs2 of the material of the low-rigidity elastic body is 20 ≦ Hs2 ≦ 40 (former JIS A-K6301). By setting the hardness Hs2 to 20 ≦ Hs2, the progress of abrasion of the legs can be suppressed without separately taking measures against friction between the rim and the legs during running, and the hardness Hs2 is set to Hs2 ≦ 40. Thus, the fit of the leg to the rim can be ensured without any special processing at the contact portion between the leg and the rim.
[0014]
The pneumatic run-flat tire according to the present invention according to claim 4, wherein a carcass formed in a toroidal shape over a pair of bead cores, and a side rubber layer disposed outside the carcass in the tire axial direction and constituting a tire side portion. A tread rubber layer disposed outside the carcass in the tire radial direction to form a tread portion, and a tire, a rim for mounting a tire size for mounting the tire, and disposed inside the tire, The support according to any one of claims 1 to 3, which is attached to a rim.
[0015]
According to the pneumatic run-flat tire of the present invention described in claim 4, when the internal pressure of the pneumatic tire decreases, the support disposed inside the pneumatic tire supports the tread portion instead of the side rubber layer. This enables run flat running.
[0016]
By the way, when the rim is assembled and the rim is unraveled, the low rigidity elastic body is greatly deformed in the legs made of the laminated elastic body, so that the work is facilitated. Here, when the rim is assembled, the load acting on the support portion can be reduced by deforming the low-rigidity elastic body, so that deformation of the support portion can be suppressed.
[0017]
When the run flat tire is mounted on the vehicle, the support portion receives the vehicle weight when the internal pressure of the pneumatic tire is lowered and is supported on the rim via the leg portion, so that run flat traveling is possible. During run-flat running, the impact from the road surface is transmitted to the vehicle body via the tread, the support, and the rim. At this time, in the legs made of the laminated elastic, the high rigid elastics support the legs. Strength is ensured, and deformation of the entire leg is reduced to prevent the leg from coming off the rim.
[0018]
In addition, the low rigidity elastic body on the inner side in the tire radial direction is elastically deformed according to the shape of the rim of the leg mounted on the rim. For this reason, during normal running (during non-run flat running), the low-rigidity elastic body maintains the close contact state with the rim and suppresses the idling of the support inside the tire, so that the tire balance is maintained well. , Uniformity is improved.
[0019]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the pneumatic run-flat tire according to the fourth aspect, a protrusion-like hump for holding a mounting position of the leg portion is formed on the rim, and a diameter of the hump is determined. The diameter X at the outermost position in the direction and the inner diameter R at the innermost position in the radial direction of the leg have a relationship of (X−4) mm ≦ R ≦ (X + 2) mm. It is characterized by.
[0020]
According to the pneumatic run-flat tire of the present invention described in claim 5, the hump formed on the rim holds the mounting position of the leg. The radial dimension X of the hump at the radially outermost position and the radial inner diameter R of the leg at the radially innermost position are represented by the relationship of (X−4) mm ≦ R ≦ (X + 2) mm. Has become. Here, the inner diameter dimension R is a dimension in a free state before assembly. By setting (X-4) mm ≦ R, the legs can easily get over the hump, and the legs can be easily attached to the rim. By setting R ≦ (X + 2) mm, the normal running (non- It is possible to minimize the occurrence of a gap between the rim and the leg during run-flat running) and prevent the support from easily slipping.
[0021]

(Test Example 1)
In order to confirm the operation of the above-described embodiment, the run-flat tire according to the following examples (hereinafter, simply referred to as examples) and the run-flat tire according to a comparative example with respect to the rim assembling property, the run-flat durability, and the balance performance. (Hereinafter, simply referred to as a comparative example). The fit to the rim is confirmed by a balance performance test.
[0045]
The run flat tire used in the examples and comparative examples has a tire size of 195 / 65R15 and a rim of 15 inches-6.5J.
[0046]
The example has a configuration similar to that of the run flat tire described in the embodiment, and the legs are laminated in two layers: a high-rigid rubber on the tire radial outside and a low-rigid rubber on the tire radial inside. The high-rigid rubber has a hardness (Hs) of 75 according to the old JIS A-K6301 and a thickness of 20 mm. The low-rigid rubber has a hardness (Hs) of 30 in the old JIS A-K6301 and a thickness of 20 mm. In the embodiment, the radial dimension X (see FIG. 4) at the outermost position in the radial direction of the hump is 380.9 mm, and the inner diameter dimension R at the radially innermost position of the leg (see FIG. 4). ) Is 378.9 mm.
[0047]
On the other hand, the comparative example is the same as the example except for the legs. The legs are made of high-rigidity rubber having a hardness (Hs) of 85 according to the old JIS A-K6301 and a thickness of 20 mm. The comparative example is formed in the same cross-sectional shape as the example, but the inner diameter dimension R (see FIG. 4) at the radially innermost position in the leg portion is 384.0 mm.
[0048]
In the rim assembling test, after the rim was assembled, the tire was cut, the inside was observed, and the support portion and the leg portion were evaluated for any abnormality such as deformation by the assembling procedure of the above embodiment. In the run-flat durability test, the run-flat tires according to the example and the comparative example were mounted on a passenger car, and one tire was run-flat-run with zero air pressure, and the running distance until tire breakdown was measured. . In the test of the balance performance, for the example and the comparative example, the balance of which was adjusted after the rim was assembled, the vehicle was run 10 km and 20 km in normal running (non-run flat running), and after running 10 km and 20 km, the tires were unbalanced by tire balancers. The amount was measured.
[0049]
Table 1 shows the test results. Note that the run flat running distance is a running distance from a run flat run to tire breakage.
[0050]
[Table 1]
[0051]
<Evaluation>
As a result of the test, as shown in Table 1, it was confirmed that the example was equivalent to the comparative example in terms of the rim assemblability and the run flat durability. On the other hand, in the balance performance, the unbalance amount in the example is much smaller than the unbalance amount in the comparative example. This is because, in the comparative example, the support slips due to running and the balance is lost, whereas in the example, the support is in close contact with the rim by the low-rigid rubber, so that the slip of the support can be suppressed. This is because the. According to these tests, the low stiffness rubber layer is placed inside the tire radial direction with two legs, so that the rim assemblability and run flat durability are maintained, the fit to the rim is good, and the balance performance is good. Was confirmed to improve.
(Test Example 2)
In order to confirm the operation of the above embodiment, the run-flat tires according to the following five examples (hereinafter referred to as Example 1, Example 2, Example 3, Comparative tests between run-flat tires according to five comparative examples (hereinafter referred to as Comparative Example 1, Comparative Example 2, Comparative Example 3, Comparative Example 4, and Comparative Example 5) were performed. went.
[0052]
The run-flat tires used in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5 have a tire size of 195 / 65R15, and have a radial dimension X (see FIG. 4) at a radially outermost position in the hump of 380.9 mm. It is.
[0053]
Examples 1 to 5 have the same configuration as the run flat tire described in the embodiment, and the legs are laminated in two layers of a high rigid rubber on the tire radial outside and a low rigid rubber on the tire radial inside. ing. The high-rigid rubber has a hardness (Hs) of 80 according to the old JIS A-K6301, and the low-rigid rubber has a hardness (Hs) of 30 according to the old JIS A-K6301. The tire radial dimension of the low-rigid rubber is 1/5 of the tire radial dimension of the leg.
[0054]
The inner diameter R (see FIG. 4) at the innermost position in the radial direction of the leg is 376.9 mm in the first embodiment, 378.9 mm in the second embodiment, and 380.9 mm in the third embodiment. In Example 4, it is 382.9 mm, and in Example 5, it is 384.0 mm.
[0055]
On the other hand, Comparative Examples 1 to 5 are high rigid rubbers having a leg hardness (Hs) of 80 according to the old JIS A-K6301. The inner diameter dimension R (see FIG. 4) at the radially innermost position in the leg portion is 376.9 mm in Comparative Example 1, 378.9 mm in Comparative Example 2, 380.9 mm in Comparative Example 3, and In Example 4, it is 382.9 mm, and in Comparative Example 5, it is 384.0 mm. The legs of Comparative Examples 1 to 5 are formed in the same cross-sectional shape as Examples 1 to 5, and the points other than the legs are the same as Examples 1 to 5.
[0056]
Table 2 shows the test results.
[0057]
[Table 2]
[0058]
<Evaluation>
As a test result, as shown in Table 2, in Comparative Examples 1 to 4, the rim cannot be assembled because the legs cannot pass over the hump. In Comparative Example 5 and Example 5, the rim can be assembled. After the rim was assembled, a gap was formed between the leg and the rim. On the other hand, in Examples 1 to 4, the rim assembly was possible and the fit was good.
[0059]
As in Comparative Examples 5 and 5, when a gap is formed between the leg and the rim after assembling the rim, the support body idles during running and the uniformity is deteriorated. However, as in Examples 1 to 4, If the fit is good, the support does not run idle during running, and the uniformity is well maintained.
[0060]
According to these tests, a low-rigid rubber layer having a predetermined size is disposed inside the tire in the tire radial direction with two legs, and a radial dimension X at a radially outermost position in the hump, and a radial By setting the inner diameter R at the innermost position to satisfy the relationship of (X−4) mm ≦ R ≦ (X + 2) mm, it was confirmed that the rim assembly was possible and the fit was good.
[0061]
In the above-described embodiment, the high-rigid elastic body and the low-rigid elastic body have been specifically described as examples of high-rigid rubber and low-rigid rubber, respectively. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. For example, as the high-rigid elastic body and the low-rigid elastic body, respectively, a high-rigidity resin (including a thermosetting resin, a thermoplastic resin, or the like reinforced with one or a combination of carbon, Kepler, and glass fiber) is used. A low-rigidity resin may be used.
[0062]
Further, in the above embodiment, the shape of the leg is substantially rectangular in cross-sectional view, but may be, for example, substantially circular, and the shape of the leg is not limited to the above example.
[0063]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, only a part of the leg portion passes over the hump portion, and the portion of the leg portion that rides on the hump portion is elastically deformed in a concave shape, but the present invention is not limited to this. Instead, the shape and dimensions of the legs may be changed so that all of the legs cross over the hump. Also in this case, the low-rigidity rubber of the leg portion is elastically deformed according to the shape of the rim contact portion, so that the fitting property to the rim is improved.
[0064]
Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, the leg is attached to the support having two convex portions that are equal in cross-sectional view. However, for example, the leg may be attached to the support having one convex. In addition, the shape of the support is not limited to the above embodiment.
[0065]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the support and the pneumatic run-flat tire of the present invention, there is an excellent effect that the fit to the rim is improved.
