Abstract
Description
【0001】

The Tire and Rim Association Inc.”のYear Bookで規定され、欧州では、”The European Tire and Rim Technical Organization”のStandards Manualで規定されている。
【0024】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an annular support provided inside a tire and a pneumatic run having the support provided therein so that the vehicle can travel a considerable distance in that state even when punctured. About flat tires.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Run-flat running is possible with pneumatic tires, that is, a tire that can run with a certain distance without worry even if the tire internal pressure (air pressure) becomes 0 kg / cm 2 due to puncturing (hereinafter referred to as run-flat tire). There is known a core type in which an annular core (support) made of metal, synthetic resin, or the like is attached to a rim portion in an air chamber of the tire.
[0003]
Conventionally, such a core type is a rotary core type incorporated in a rim or, as shown in FIG. 6, attached to the

However, the rotating core type has a problem in versatility in that a special wheel for fixing the rotating core is required. On the other hand, the core type having the

[0007]
In view of the above circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to provide a support and a pneumatic runflat tire which are excellent in running resistance during runflat running.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the support according to claim 1 of the present invention is disposed inside a pneumatic tire, is assembled to a rim together with the pneumatic tire, and supports a load during run-flat running. A possible support, an annular support having a convex portion bulging radially outward, and an elastic body attached to one end of the support in the axial direction and attached to the rim. An annular first leg, and an annular second leg that is an elastic body attached to the other end of the support in the axial direction and attached to the rim; It is characterized in that the cross-sectional shape of the support portion of the portion and the second leg portion cut along the axial direction is different.
[0009]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the support can be disposed inside the conventional pneumatic tire (in the air chamber) and assembled to the rim together with the pneumatic tire. When the run-flat tire assembled in this manner is mounted on a car and run, when the internal pressure of the pneumatic tire decreases, the support disposed in the tire air chamber supports the load instead of the side rubber layer, Run flat running becomes possible.
[0010]
In addition, since the cross-sectional shape of the first leg portion and the second leg portion, which are elastic members, cut along the axial direction of the support portion is different, for example, the first leg portion and the second leg portion are made of rubber. In some cases, the leg with the larger cross-sectional shape has higher rigidity, so that even if the leg is heated to a high temperature by frictional heat with the rim, deformation (softening) of the leg can be suppressed. Therefore, the leg can be prevented from coming off the rim, and the run-flat running resistance can be improved.
[0011]
A support according to a second aspect is characterized in that, in the support according to the first aspect, the width of the first leg and the second leg along the axial direction of the support is different. .
[0012]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the first leg and the second leg are made of rubber, the leg having a larger width along the axial direction of the support portion has a higher rigidity, so that friction with the rim is increased. Even if the temperature is raised by heat, it is difficult to deform (soften). Therefore, the legs are less likely to come off the rim, and the run-flat running resistance can be improved.
[0013]
Further, the support according to claim 3 is the support according to claim 1 or 2, wherein one of the first leg and the second leg protrudes radially inward, and the well of the rim is provided. It is characterized in that a flange abutting on the part is formed.
[0014]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the flange contacting the well of the rim is formed on one of the first leg and the second leg, the leg on which the flange is formed has friction with the rim. Even if it is heated to a high temperature and deformed (softened), it is supported by the well portion by its flange. Therefore, the leg does not come off the rim (does not fall into the well), and the run-flat running resistance can be improved.
[0015]
The support according to a fourth aspect is characterized in that, in the support according to the third aspect, the flange is formed so as to conform to the shape of the well portion.
[0016]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, since the shape of the flange is formed along the shape of the well, the leg on which the flange is formed can be suitably mounted on the rim.
[0017]
Further, the pneumatic run-flat tire according to claim 5, a carcass formed in a toroidal shape over a pair of bead cores, and a side rubber layer disposed outside the carcass in the tire axial direction and constituting a tire side portion, A tread rubber layer constituting a tread portion disposed outside the carcass in the tire radial direction and comprising a tread rubber layer, a tire mounted on a rim, a tire disposed inside the tire, and assembled to the rim together with the tire. And the support according to any one of (1) to (4).
[0018]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, when the internal pressure of the pneumatic tire decreases, the support provided in the tire air chamber supports the tread portion instead of the side rubber layer. As a result, run-flat running becomes possible.
[0019]
Further, the first leg and the second leg attached to the rim are the legs described in any one of claims 1 to 4, so that the legs are prevented from coming off the rim during run flat running. can do. Therefore, it is possible to provide a pneumatic runflat tire having good runflat running resistance, that is, capable of avoiding running disability and improving steering stability.
[0020]

A test in which the pneumatic run-flat tires according to the example and the comparative example formed as described above were mounted on a passenger car, and only one wheel was run at 100 km / h / h at an air pressure of 0 kg / cm 2. Table 1 shows the results. In addition, the running distance of the example was indexed with the running distance of the comparative example being 100.
[0045]
[Table 1]
[0046]
As can be seen from Table 1, the mileage of the comparative example is 100, while the mileage of the example is 240, which makes it possible to realize twice or more continuous running as compared with the conventional example. . Therefore, it was confirmed that the running durability and the steering stability were improved during run flat running.
[0047]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the support of the first and second aspects of the present invention, the legs of the support can be prevented from coming off the rim during run-flat running, so that the tread portion can be suitably used with the support. It can be supported and run-flat running resistance can be improved.
[0048]
According to the third and fourth supports, since the legs of the support do not come off the rim during run-flat running and do not fall into the wells, the tread portion is suitably supported by the support. And the run-flat running resistance can be improved.
[0049]
According to the pneumatic run-flat tire of claim 5, since the legs of the support do not come off from the rim during run-flat running, the tread portion is suitably supported by the support. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid running impairment and to achieve good run-flat running in which steering stability is improved.
