本発明はビン、缶、ペットボトル等の容器に詰められた商品を販売する自動販売機に搭載したサーペンタイン式の商品収納装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年の飲料容器は形状、材質等が多種多様であり、自動販売機での販売においては、商品収納ラックに整列させて収納するために各々商品に合わせて、工夫をこらしている。そのため、収納商品に合わせて調整板等を移動させる必要が生じることになり、商品を補充するオペレーターには負担となっている。

また、調整板等を移動しないまま商品を投入すると、商品が商品通路の途中で立ってしまい、商品詰まり等の不具合が頻繁に発生することがある。

そこで、自動販売機のサーペンタイン式商品収納ラックでは、投入商品が途中で立つことを防ぐために、円弧板状のセグメントに工夫を施している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来の構成では、商品収納ラックへのローディング時の”缶立ち”に対して、矯正力が作用するのは容器とコラムセグメント３が接触している状態に依存するため、大小各容量の商品のうち中身容量の少ない短小サイズにおいて効果が薄く、且つ外形形状が概ね円筒状の缶容器等に限定されることになる。特に、キャップつき容器等のように商品の全長に対して重量バランスに偏りがあり、容器の一端側がコラムセグメント３に直接接触することの可能性が低い容器にとっては、姿勢の矯正作用が働かず効果が期待できないことになる。

そこで、本発明は従来の課題を解決するもので、商品ローディング時に商品通路内を落下する商品の挙動とコラムセグメントとの関係を基に、コラムセグメントの構成により形成する商品通路形態を変更し、その姿勢調整機能を有効に生かして商品の缶立ちを回避できるように改良した自動販売機のサーペンタイン式商品収納ラックを提供することを目的とする。
