Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fishing rod used for fishing. In particular, the present invention relates to a fishing rod formed by connecting a plurality of rods in a swinging manner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a fishing rod is formed by connecting a plurality of rod bodies into one fishing rod. In some of such fishing rods, a rod body is connected by a method called a swing type. In the swing type fishing rod, a small-diameter rod is connected to the tip of a large-diameter rod located on the rod base side. The small-diameter rod body is housed freely in and out of the large-diameter rod body. In order to prevent the small-diameter rod body from falling off to the tip side and to enable the two rod bodies to be connected and fixed when the small-diameter rod body is pulled out to the tip side of the large-diameter rod body, the end of the small-diameter rod body at the base end of the rod. A fitting male part is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the part, and a fitting female part is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the tip end of the large-diameter rod body (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
Further, among the fishing rods of the draw-out type, various types of fishing rods are provided with various functions according to the application. For example, in a total rod such as an ayu rod for a sweetfish fishing or a mountain stream rod, a function is provided so that the total length of the fishing rod can be quickly changed at the time of a fishing operation in order to make it easier to catch fish involved in the device. ing. For example, in a certain kind of conventional sweetfish rod or the like, an extension rod is separately connected to a rod base end of a former rod. The extended rod can be connected and fixed to the original rod in either a state of being stored in the original rod (storage state) or a state of being pulled out from the original rod to the hand side (extended state). Then, during the fishing operation, the angler puts the extension rod in and out according to the situation, adjusts the length of the entire fishing rod, and performs fishing (for example, see Patent Document 2). Specifically, in the conventional fishing rod in which the length of the fishing rod can be adjusted as described above, in the stored state, the inner peripheral surface of the rod base side end of the original rod and the rod base side of the extended rod are located. The structure is such that it fits with the outer peripheral surface. In the extended state, the inner peripheral surface of the rod-side end of the original rod and the outer peripheral surface of the tip-side end of the extended rod are fitted to each other.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the fishing rod of the swing-out type, when the fitting male part and the fitting female part are formed on the large-diameter rod body and the small-diameter rod body, each rod body is partially thickened, and the inner diameter of the material or Generally, the outer diameter is adjusted to form a fitting male portion or a fitting female portion. However, the fitting male part and the fitting female part require precise diameter adjustment so that they can be sufficiently fitted. Performing such precise diameter adjustment on the material itself requires complicated and sophisticated techniques. For this reason, the production of such a fitting male part and a fitting female part has contributed to an increase in the cost of the fishing rod. Therefore, it is required to provide a matching portion having a simpler structure. The problem with the fitting male portion and the fitting female portion is the same also in a fishing rod provided with a function of quickly changing the overall length of the fishing rod during a fishing operation.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod in which the structure of the fitting portion between the rod bodies is relatively simple, and can be reduced in weight and economical.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A fishing rod according to the present invention is a fishing rod formed by sequentially connecting a plurality of rods that are cylindrical bodies, and includes an original rod, and an extended rod that is connected to the original rod side of the original rod so as to be able to enter and exit the original rod. And The extended rod can be fixed to the original rod in any of the stored state of being stored in the original rod and the extended state of being pulled out to the rod base side of the original rod.

This base rod has a main body part which is a cylindrical body tapered as a whole, and a nut member detachably attached to a rod base end of the main body part. The main body has a fitting female portion which is a portion whose diameter does not change in a predetermined range in the axial direction on the inner peripheral surface on the tip side, and a plurality of split shafts extending in the axial direction are provided on the rod-side end. Are formed at intervals in the circumferential direction, and a male screw portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface adjacent to the tip side of the split. On the other hand, the nut member is a substantially cylindrical member, and the inner peripheral surface on the tip side is a female screw portion that can be screwed to the male screw portion, and the inner peripheral surface on the rod base side has a tapered surface whose diameter decreases toward the rod base side. It has a tapered portion.
[0010]
The extending rod has a body portion, a fitting male portion that is a portion whose diameter does not change in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the tip side end of the body portion and can be fitted to the fitting female portion, and a rod base of the fitting male portion. And a tapered portion formed adjacent to the side and having a smaller diameter toward the base of the rod.
In the original rod of this fishing rod, when the nut member is removed from the main body, the split of the rod-side end portion extends substantially in the axial direction due to the elasticity of the material of the main body. In this state, it is possible to insert and attach the extended rod from the rod base side of the original rod to the inside thereof, or to remove the extended rod from the original rod.
[0011]
On the other hand, with the extension rod incorporated in the former rod, the nut member is attached to the main body, and the female screw portion of the nut member is screwed into the male screw portion of the main body. The rod-side end portion where the split is formed has an inclined posture such that the diameter becomes smaller toward the rod side. The rod-side end of the main body in this inclined position abuts or fits on the tapered portion of the stretched rod to prevent the stretched rod from slipping out to the rod-side of the former rod. In addition, the rod end of the main body in the inclined position, when the extended rod is pulled out to the rod base side of the original rod, connects and fixes the extended rod and the original rod.
[0012]
In the storage state where the stretched rod is housed in the former rod, the fitting male part on the tip side of the stretched rod is fitted to the female fitting part of the former rod, and the stretched rod and the former rod are connected and fixed. Will be.
Further, another fishing rod of the present invention is a fishing rod formed by sequentially connecting a plurality of rods that are cylindrical bodies, and includes a first rod, and a tip end side of the first rod inside the first rod. And a second rod body connected so as to be able to enter and exit freely. The second rod body can be fixed to the first rod body in either the housed state stored in the first rod body or the extended state extended to the tip side of the first rod body.
[0013]
The first rod body has a main body part which is a cylindrical body having a tapered taper as a whole, and a mating female part which is provided with a tapered taper at an end of the main body on the tip side as compared with other parts. And
The second rod body has a main body that is a cylindrical body that is tapered as a whole, and a bottom plug that is detachably attached to a rod-side end of the main body. The main body of the second rod body has a plurality of splits extending in the axial direction formed at an end portion on the rod base side at an interval in the circumferential direction, and a female screw portion is formed on an inner peripheral surface adjacent to the tip side of the split. Is formed. On the other hand, the bottom plug has an external thread portion that can be screwed to the female screw portion on the tip outer peripheral surface, and a tapered portion that is tapered on the rod outer peripheral surface such that the diameter increases toward the rod side.
[0014]
In the second rod body of this fishing rod, when the bottom plug is removed from the main body, the split at the base end of the rod extends substantially in the axial direction due to the elasticity of the material of the main body. On the other hand, when the bottom plug is attached to the main body and the male screw portion of the bottom plug is screwed into the female screw portion of the original upper rod, the split of the main body of the second rod body is formed by the tapered portion of the bottom plug. The rod-side end has an inclined posture such that the diameter increases toward the rod side. The rod-side end of the body portion of the second rod body in this inclined position abuts or fits on the mating female portion of the tip-side end of the first rod body, and the second rod body is in the first position. Suppress the escape to the tip side of the rod. Further, in the extended state in which the rod end side of the main body of the second rod body in this inclined posture is pulled out to the tip side of the first rod body, the second rod body and the first rod body are extended. The body will be connected and fixed. By using such a bottom plug to make the end of the second rod body closer to the base of the rod, the processing of the diameter of the material itself of the second rod body is simplified, and the structure is simplified and the low Cost reduction becomes possible. Further, since the portion of the second rod body where the rod base end is formed is fitted to the first rod body, the second rod body and the first rod body are also prevented from being improperly fixed.
[0015]
Further, another fishing rod according to the present invention is a fishing rod formed by sequentially connecting a plurality of rods that are cylindrical bodies, and includes a first rod, and a tip end of the first rod entering and exiting the first rod. And a second rod body connected freely. The second rod body can be fixed to the first rod body in either the housed state where it is housed in the first rod body or the extended state where the second rod body is pulled out toward the tip of the first rod body.
[0016]
The first rod body has a main body part which is a cylindrical body having a tapered taper as a whole, and a mating female part which is provided with a tapered taper at an end of the main body on the tip side as compared with other parts. And
The second rod body has a main body that is a cylindrical body that is tapered as a whole, and a bottom plug that is detachably attached to a rod-side end of the main body. The main body of the second rod body has a small-diameter portion whose outer diameter is reduced by one step within a certain range in the axial direction from the outer peripheral surface of the rod-side end, and a female screw portion is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the rod-side end. Is formed, and the outer peripheral surface mounted on the small diameter portion has a cone whose diameter becomes larger toward the base of the rod. The bottom plug has a male screw portion that can be screwed to the female screw portion, and a head portion that is located on the rod side of the male screw portion and locks the cone.
[0017]
In this fishing rod, another detachable cone different from the main body is brought into contact with the mating female portion of the first rod in the extended state in which the second rod is pulled out to the tip of the first rod. Or fit. The cone is fixed to the small diameter portion of the second rod body by the bottom plug, and the cone can be removed from the main body of the second rod body by removing the bottom plug from the main body of the second rod body. By producing the fitting of the rod body by the cone which is different from the rod body itself, the cone can be formed separately from the rod body material, and the structure can be simplified and the cost can be reduced. Further, even if the cone is worn out due to long-term use and the fitting force is reduced, the fitting force between the second rod and the first rod can be regenerated by replacing the cone.
[0018]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[First Embodiment]
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
A fishing rod adopting the first embodiment of the present invention is a fishing rod used for sweetfish fishing and the like, and as shown in FIG. It has a pole 2 and an upper pole 3 which is connected to be able to move in and out of the tip of the former pole 1. Further, a plurality of rod bodies (middle rod, head rod, etc.) are also connected to the tip side of the former pole 3 (not shown). Each of these rod bodies is formed by firing a prepreg material in which a synthetic resin is impregnated with reinforcing fibers such as carbon fibers.
[0019]
Each rod body on the tip side of the main rod 1 is connected in a so-called swinging-out manner, and can be put in and out of the rod body located on the rod base side sequentially from the rod body on the tip side. The outer peripheral surface of the rod end side of the rod body located on the tip side is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the tip side of the rod body adjacent to the rod side and can be fixed to each other. A fishing line locking device is disposed at the tip end of the tip pole located closest to the tip side.
[0020]
(About Motopole 1)
The main rod 1 is a cylindrical body that is tapered so that the diameter decreases toward the tip as a whole. At the tip end side, a fitting part for a swing-out type is formed (not shown) so as to connect the former rod 3 and the former rod 1 in a so-called swing-out manner. A nut member 5 is attached to the rod base end.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 4, a fitting female portion 1 a is formed on the inner peripheral surface on the tip side from the vicinity of the center of the main rod 1 in the axial direction or the vicinity of the center. The fitted female portion 1a is a portion whose inner diameter does not change within a certain range in the axial direction. This is a portion to which a stretching rod 2 described below is fitted in a stored state.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 5, the outer end surface of the rod end side of the rod 1 is one step smaller in diameter than other parts, and a thread groove is formed here. It is a male thread portion 1b. Further, the portion of the male screw portion 1b on the rod base side has a portion 1c in which no thread groove is formed, and in this portion 1c, a plurality of splits extending in the axial direction are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on the rod base side. It is formed from the end. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the plurality of splits are formed by displacing three splits at equal intervals in the circumferential direction.
[0022]
The nut member 5 is a substantially cylindrical member that is detachably screwed onto the above-described male screw portion 1b. The inner peripheral surface of the nut member 5 on the tip side is a female screw portion 5a which can be screwed to the male screw portion 1b. In addition, the nut member 5 has a tapered portion 5b on the rod base side, the inner peripheral surface of which is a tapered surface whose diameter decreases toward the rod base side. The taper of the tapered portion 5b is adjusted according to the stretching rod 2 described later. By attaching such a nut member 5 to the original rod 1, a tapered portion 1c is formed such that the diameter of the split portion 1c becomes smaller toward the rod base side in accordance with the taper of the tapered portion 5b (FIG. 3). The shape of the outer peripheral surface of the nut member 5 can be arbitrarily set, but the outer peripheral surface may also be a tapered surface whose diameter becomes smaller toward the base of the rod.
[0023]
(About the extension rod 2)
As shown in FIG. 1, the extending rod 2 is an insertion portion 6 inserted into the original rod 1 from the rod side and a large-diameter pipe-shaped member connected to the rod side of the insertion portion 6. And a grip portion 7. The extension rod 2 is connected so as to be able to freely move in and out toward the rod base side of the original rod 1.
[0024]
The insertion portion 6 is a cylindrical body having an outer diameter that can be inserted into the original rod 1. The insertion portion 6 is a member whose diameter decreases toward the tip side. When the former rod 3 is stored in the former rod 1 from the tip side, the former rod 3 can be stored in the extended rod 2. In addition, a rubber cover may be attached to the tip end side of the insertion portion 6 so that the upper pole 3 can be smoothly guided inside the tip.
[0025]
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the outer end of the tip of the insertion portion 6 has an outer diameter larger than that of the other portion within a certain range in the axial direction, and serves as a fitting male portion 6a. ing. The outer diameter of the male fitting portion 6a is adjusted according to the female fitting portion 1a of the original rod 1 described above. The rod side of the fitting male portion 6a has a tapered surface 6b whose diameter becomes smaller toward the rod side. The tapered surface 6b is adjusted according to the taper of the part 1c where the split of the original rod 1 is included.
[0026]
The grip portion 7 is a pipe-shaped member having a diameter larger than that of the insertion portion 6 and having a diameter matching the outer peripheral surface of the original rod 1. Like the main rod 1 and the insertion section 6, it may be made of fiber reinforced resin or the like, or may be made of a separate metal material or the like. The grip portion 7 is detachably connected to the rod base end of the insertion portion 6 by a well-known method such as screwing in a state where the insertion portion 6 is inserted from the tip side. The grip portion 7 may be in a state where the insertion portion 6 is completely inserted, or may be in a state where the insertion portion 6 is partially inserted into the end of the grip portion 7 on the tip side. The grip 7 may be irremovably connected.
[0027]
(Relationship between former rod 1 and extended rod 2)
In the original rod 1 of this fishing rod, when the nut member 5 is removed from the main body, the portion 1c of the rod-side end portion having a split extends substantially in the axial direction due to the elasticity of the material of the original rod 1. (See FIG. 3). In this state, the extension rod 2 can be inserted into and attached to the interior of the original rod 1 from the original side thereof, or, on the contrary, the extension rod 2 can be removed from the original rod 1.
[0028]
On the other hand, when the nut member 5 is screwed into the male screw portion 1b of the original rod 1 in a state where the extension rod 2 is incorporated in the original rod 1, a portion 1c in which a split is formed by the tapered portion 5b of the nut member 5 is formed. Take an inclined posture such that the diameter decreases toward the base of the rod (see FIG. 2). Then, in the stretched state in which the stretched rod 2 is pulled out toward the rod base side of the original rod 1, the portion 1 c where the split having the inclined posture is formed is formed in the tapered portion 6 b of the insertion portion 6 of the stretched rod 2. The extension rod 2 is abutted or fitted to prevent the extension rod 2 from coming out to the rod base side of the original rod 1. Further, the extension rod 2 and the original rod 1 are connected and fixed.
[0029]
On the other hand, in the housed state where the extension rod 2 is accommodated in the original rod 1 toward the tip of the original rod 1, the fitting male portion 6 a on the tip side of the insertion portion 6 of the extension rod 2 engages with the original rod 1. It is fitted to the female part 1a (see FIG. 4), and the extension rod and the original rod are connected and fixed.
In this storage state, in order to improve the connection fixing force between the original rod 1 and the extended rod 2, the inner peripheral surface of the rod-side end of the nut member 5 and the outer periphery of the insertion portion 6 of the extended rod 2 are improved. Unevenness may be formed on each surface so that the surface can be locked. Also, a multi-threaded screw or the like may be formed on both.
[Second embodiment]
A fishing rod employing the second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0030]
In this fishing rod, similarly to the first embodiment, the upper rod 3 is connected to the tip of the former rod 1 in a swinging manner (see FIG. 1).
(About Motopole 1)
As shown in FIG. 6, the tip portion of the original rod 1 is formed at the tip end side with a portion that is sharper in taper than the other portions and that has a smaller diameter toward the tip side. The inner peripheral surface of this portion is a fitting female portion 1d for the upper pole 3. Such a steeply tapered portion is manufactured by using a core material having a predetermined steeply tapered tip end, winding a carbon fiber reinforced resin around the core material and firing the core material to produce the original rod 1. Can be formed.
[0031]
(About former pole 3)
The former upper rod 3 is a cylindrical body tapered as a whole, which is connected to the front end side of the former rod 1 so as to be able to be taken in and out (in a so-called swing-out manner). A bottom plug 20 is detachably attached to the rod base end.
A plurality of splits extending in the axial direction are formed at the rod end side end of the former upper rod 3 at circumferential intervals from the rod end side end. This split is formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, about 3 to 5 as in the case of the original rod 1 of the first embodiment. Further, a thread groove is formed on the inner peripheral surface adjacent to the tip side where such a split is formed, and this is a female screw portion 3a.
[0032]
The bottom plug 20 is a plug member that closes the rod base end of the upper rod 3. As shown in FIG. 6, it is composed of a male screw portion 20a which can be screwed to the female screw portion 3a formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tip side, and a tapered portion 20b on the rod base side. The tapered portion 20b is a portion which is tapered so that the outer peripheral surface on the rod side becomes larger in diameter toward the rod side. The taper of the tapered portion 20b is adjusted according to the taper at the end of the original rod 1 on the tip side. In addition, a washer or the like is attached to the buttocks 20 as necessary.
[0033]
(Relationship between former pole 1 and former pole 3)
In the base rod 3 of this fishing rod, when the bottom plug 20 is removed, the portion where the end of the base end is formed extends substantially in the axial direction due to the elasticity of the material of the base rod 3. On the other hand, when the bottom plug 20 is attached to the former upper rod 3 and the male screw portion 20a of the lower plug 20 is screwed to the female screw portion 3a of the former upper rod 3, the tapered portion 20b of the lower plug 20 causes The rod-side end portion where the split is formed is inclined so that the diameter increases toward the rod side (see FIG. 6). The rod base end of the upper pole 3 in this inclined position abuts or fits on the mating female portion 1d of the tip end of the former rod 1 so that the former pole 3 is attached to the tip of the former rod 1. Suppress to escape to the side. When the former pole 3 is pulled out to the tip side of the former pole 1, the former pole 3 and the former pole 1 are connected and fixed. By using such a bottom plug 20 to form a fitting portion at the rod base end of the upper rod 3, the processing of the diameter of the material itself of the upper rod 3 is simplified, and the structure is simplified. And cost reduction can be achieved. Further, since the portion of the former upper rod 3 where the rod base side end is formed is fitted to the female fitting part 1d of the former rod 1, unduly fixation of both rod bodies is less likely to occur.
[Third embodiment]
FIG. 7 shows a modification of the second embodiment as a third embodiment.
[0034]
In this fishing rod, the structure of the former rod 1 is the same as that of the second embodiment. In the former upper rod 13, a cone 15 and a bottom plug 30 are detachably attached to the outer periphery of the rod-side end.
The upper rod 13 has a thread groove formed on the inner peripheral surface of the rod-side end. Further, a small-diameter portion is formed in which the outer diameter is reduced by one step within a certain range in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the rod base end. A cone 15 is mounted on the small diameter portion. The cone 15 is a substantially cylindrical member, and is formed of, for example, a synthetic resin such as rubber. The cone 15 has a tapered surface in which the outer peripheral surface increases in diameter toward the base of the rod. This tapered surface is adjusted according to the taper of the fitting female portion 1d of the original rod 1.
[0035]
The bottom plug 30 is a plug member that closes the rod-side end of the upper rod 13, and includes a male screw portion that can be screwed to the upper rod 13, and is located on the rod side of the male screw section to lock the cone 13. And a head to be used. The outer diameter of the head does not exceed the outer diameter of the end of the cone 15 on the rod base side.
In this fishing rod, the cone 15 abuts or fits on the fitting female portion 1d of the former rod 1 in the extended state in which the former upper rod 13 is pulled out to the tip side of the former rod 1. The cone 15 is fixed to the small diameter portion of the upper pole 13 by the bottom plug 30. By removing the bottom plug 30 from the upper pole 13, the cone 13 can be removed from the upper pole 13. By effecting the fitting of the former upper rod 13 to the former rod 1 by such a different cone 13 from the rod itself, the cone 13 can be formed separately from the rod material, thereby simplifying the structure and reducing the cost. Becomes possible. Further, even if the cone 13 is worn and the fitting force is reduced due to long-term use, the fitting force between the former rod 1 and the former rod 13 can be regenerated by replacing the cone 13.
[0036]
