本発明は、鶏糞、家畜糞その他の含水廃棄処理物(被処理物原料に同じ。)の乾燥炭化処理方法及び乾燥炭化処理装置に係り、詳しくは、蒸気管と燃焼室を備えた熱風炉と多段式の乾燥炭化炉との間に発生蒸気の循環系統を配設して密閉系内で熱源を循環させながら炭化物及び灰化物を生成するようにした含水廃棄処理物の乾燥炭化処理方法及び乾燥炭化処理装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、鶏糞、家畜糞その他の含水廃棄処理物(被処理物原料に同じ。)を乾燥炭化処理する外熱式の乾燥炭化炉や焼却炉が知られている。また、乾燥炭化炉と焼却炉を組み合わせて、焼却炉の燃焼排ガスを乾燥炭化炉の熱源として利用する提案もあった。(例えば、特許文献1、2、3を参照。)

しかしながら、先願装置における熱利用形態には改善の余地がある。

また、従来装置は、炭化物を多孔質活性化しようとするものでり、乾燥炭化処理過程での発生蒸気を利用するものではない。

こうしたなかで本発明者は、より一層の省資源化と無公害化(環境保全)に寄与するために、密閉系内で乾燥熱源を循環させながら炭化物及び灰化物を生成するためのシステム開発をおこなってきた。

本発明はこのような事情に鑑みなされたものであって、上記課題を解消し、蒸気又は熱風炉と多段式の乾燥炭化炉との間に発生蒸気の循環系統を配設して密閉系内で熱源を循環させながら炭化物及び灰化物を生成するようにした含水廃棄処理物の乾燥炭化処理方法及び乾燥炭化処理装置を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
課題を解決するために本発明は、蒸気管と燃焼室を備えた熱風炉と多段式の乾燥炭化炉との間に発生蒸気の循環系統を配設して密閉系内で熱源を循環させながら炭化物及び灰化物を生成するようにした含水廃棄処理物(被処理物原料に同じ。)の乾燥炭化処理方法であって、
前記乾燥炭化炉の上段に被処理物原料を受け入れ、順次下段に移載しながら乾燥炭化処理を進行させ、発生蒸気を中段から取り出し、集塵機を介して熱風炉の蒸気管と燃焼室に分岐導入し、蒸気管を通過させて再加熱した高温蒸気を前記乾燥炭化炉の上下段にそれぞれ還流し新たな乾燥熱源とするとともに、燃焼室に導入した余剰の発生蒸気を脱臭処理することを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態について添付図面を参照して以下説明する。

図1に本発明装置(X)のフローシートを示すように、蒸気管21と燃焼室22を備えた熱風炉2と多段式の乾燥炭化炉1との間に発生蒸気の循環系統a,bを配設するとともに、熱風炉2に空気予熱器4(冷却塔)を併設する。

乾燥炭化炉1の上段に被処理物原料を受け入れ、順次下段に移載しながら乾燥炭化処理を進行させるのであるが、乾燥炭化処理過程での発生蒸気(180℃程度) を中段から取り出し、サイクロン集塵機3を介して熱風炉2の蒸気管21と燃焼室22に分岐導入し(蒸気循環系統a)、蒸気管21を通過させて再加熱した高温蒸気(450℃以上) を乾燥炭化炉1の上下段にそれぞれ還流し新たな乾燥熱源とする(蒸気循環系統b)。〔乾燥熱源循環機構〕

本発明は以上の構成よりなるものであり、これによれば乾燥熱源循環機構と排熱回収機構とを有しているので、より一層の省資源化と無公害化の推進が図れる。しかも、二次利用可能な炭化物と灰化物を同時的に資源回収できるので産業上の利用価値が大きい。
