本発明は建設機械のハンドレールに関するものであり、特に、安全な昇降を行うためのハンドレールに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、此種建設機械は下部走行体に上部旋回体を旋回自在に載置し、該上部旋回体に搭載したエンジンや油圧機器等をハウスにて被蔽してある。エンジンや油圧機器等のメンテナンスに際して、作業者が下部走行体に足をかけるとともにハウスに手をかけて、上部旋回体のハウスに乗り上がる場合がある。このとき、作業者の上体が極めて不安定になって危険であった。

このため、ハウスの外側面にハンドレールを固設しておき、作業者がハウスに乗り上がる際は、作業者が下部走行体に足をかけるとともに、該ハンドレールを把持して上体を確保できるようにしたものが知られている（例えば、特許文献１参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記特許文献１記載のハンドレールは、ハウスの上面や側面等に突出して設けられており、ハンドレールを使用しないときは邪魔である。また、作業者がハンドレールに接触するという危険性を有している。

そこで、建設機械のメンテナンスに際して上部旋回体のハウスに作業者が容易且つ安全に昇降できるようにするために解決すべき技術的課題が生じてくるのであり、本発明はこの課題を解決することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記目的を達成するために提案されたものであり、下部走行体に上部旋回体を旋回自在に載置し、該上部旋回体に搭載したエンジンや油圧機器等をハウスにて被蔽した建設機械に於いて、前記ハウスの内部に作業のためのハンドレールを設けた建設機械のハンドレール、
及び、上記ハウスに開閉可能なカバーを設け、該カバーの近傍に配置されている建設機械のハンドレール、
及び、上記カバーの開放時に、ハンドレールの把持部がハウスの開口部分に突出した状態で固定されている建設機械のハンドレールを提供するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施の形態を図面に従って詳述する。図１及び図２に於いて、符号１０は建設機械の一例として油圧ショベルを示し、該油圧ショベル１０は下部走行体１１の上に上部旋回体１２が旋回自在に載置されている。上部旋回体１１の前方一側部にキャブ１３が設けられ、後部並びに前方他側部にエンジンや油圧機器等の機関部（図示せず）が搭載されてハウス１４にて被蔽してある。尚、図示は省略するが、上部旋回体１１の前方中央部には作業用アタッチメントを俯仰自在に装着する。前記ハウス１４には、工具をはじめとする備品を収納する箇所とメンテナンスのときに機関部を露出させる箇所に、夫々開閉可能なカバー１５が設けられている。

例えば、図３乃至図７に示すように、前記上部旋回体１１の斜め右後部にはエアクリーナ１６が配設されており、該エアクリーナ１６の設置箇所にはカバー１５の側面に開口部１７を設け、この開口部１７に開閉可能なカバー１５を取り付けてある。メンテナンスの際には、図示したように、該カバー１５を開放してエアクリーナ１６を露出できるようにしてあり、作業者は開口部１７に手を差し入れてエアクリーナ１６の清掃やフィルタ交換が簡単に行えるように形成されている。

ここで、前記ハウス１４の内部には作業用のハンドレール２０が設けられており、該ハンドレール２０は前記カバー１５の近傍に配置されている。該ハンドレール２０の形状は特に限定されないが、例えば図示したように、略水平方向に設けられた上下のステー２０ａ，２０ａの基端部が、ハウス１４内部のフレーム２１に固設され、上下のステー２０ａ，２０ａの先端部間に丸パイプ状の把持部２０ｂを縦方向に設けてある。即ち、該ハンドレール２０の把持部２０ｂが、前記ハウス１４内の開口部１７に突出した状態で固定されているので、作業者が該ハンドレール２０を把持することにより、作業者の上体を安定的に確保できる。

従って、前記カバー１５が閉止されているときは、該ハンドレール２０はハウス１４内に収納されて外部には突出しないため、通常の作業時に該ハンドレール２０が邪魔になることはなく、作業者にハンドレール２０が接触する危険を防止して安全性を確保できる。

ここで、前記エアクリーナ１６のメンテナンスを行う場合は、作業者が下部走行体１１に乗って前記開口部１７内を覗き込まなくてはならない。先ず、前記カバー１５を開放してエアクリーナ１６を露出させる。このとき、前記開口部１７内のハンドレール２０も露出する。作業者が下部走行体１１に足をかけるとともに前記ハンドレール２０を把持すれば、作業者の下半身及び上半身の双方ともが安定する。

そして、作業者の体が安定した状態で前記開口部１７内を覗き込み、前記ハンドレール２０の把持を解除してエアクリーナ１６の清掃やフィルタ交換を行う。万一、作業者の体が不安定になったときは、直ちに前記ハンドレール２０を把持すれば、再び作業者の体が安定した状態に復帰し、作業者が転落するなどの事故を未然に防止でき、極めて安全に作業することができる。

また、エンジンや油圧機器等のメンテナンスに際して、作業者が上部旋回体１２のハウス１４に乗り上がる場合には、作業者が下部走行体１１に足をかけるとともに、該ハンドレール２０を把持して上体を確保すれば、作業者は容易且つ安全にハウス１４の上面に昇ることができる。

尚、説明の都合上、本実施の形態ではエアクリーナの設置箇所についてのみ説明したが、他の機関部のカバー近傍にハンドレールを設けることもできる。

【発明の効果】
本発明は上記一実施の形態に詳述したように、請求項１記載の発明は、ハウスの内部に作業のためのハンドレールを設けたことにより、ハウスの上面や側面等にハンドレールが突出せず、ハンドレールを使用しないときは邪魔になることはない。また、作業者がハンドレールに接触するという危険も回避できる。

請求項２記載の発明は、上記ハウスに開閉可能なカバーを設け、該カバーの近傍にハンドレールが配置されているので、請求項１記載の発明の効果に加えて、該カバーを開放すればハンドレールが露出し、直ちに作業者がハンドレールを使用できる状態となる。

請求項３記載の発明は、上記カバーの開放時に、ハンドレールの把持部がハウスの開口部分に突出した状態で固定されているので、請求項１または２記載の発明の効果に加えて、ハンドレールを容易に把持することができる。
