Description

Description of the Related Art Conventionally, for example, in a vehicle seat, a reclining device capable of lowering a seat back to a flat position with respect to a seat cushion is usually mounted. In this reclining device, the reclining lever is operated to return the seat back from the flat position to the upright position, which is a normal seating state. However, the seat back is rotated so as to automatically perform this rotation returning movement. The shaft has a structure in which spiral springs for biasing the rising operation are attached to both ends of the shaft.
However, since the biasing force of the spiral spring is quite strong, the rising speed of the seat back is fast, and the movement is rough and has no luxury.
[0004]
Therefore, as shown in Patent Document 1, a reclining device incorporating a rotary damper that gives a resistance to the rotation of the seat back so as to reduce the rising speed of the seat back has been proposed and put to practical use. . However, since the rotary damper is expensive, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost of the reclining device is high and that the assembling process is complicated.
