Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a recording apparatus, and more specifically, records digital data recorded on a first optical disc in track units on a second optical disc at a reproduction speed higher than a standard reproduction speed. The present invention relates to a recording device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, an optical disk high-speed reproduction / recording apparatus that reproduces data recorded on a plurality of types of optical disks represented by CDs and DVDs at a speed higher than the original reproduction speed and simultaneously records the data on another writable / rewritable optical disk has been developed. Have been.
[0003]
The operation of a typical optical disc high-speed reproduction / recording apparatus using a CD as a recording source optical disc and an MD as a writable / rewritable optical disc will be briefly described.
[0004]
A CD on which music or non-music data is recorded is rotated at a speed higher than the rotation speed at the standard reproduction speed, and the recording data is read out in a unit smaller than the track, and a predetermined recording unit (for example, a reading unit) / Each data block smaller than / track or each CD).
[0005]
Here, in a disk such as a CD, a signal is recorded by a CLV (Constant Linear Velocity) method in which a linear velocity when the signal is read is constant in order to improve a recording density. Therefore, the disc is rotated at a high speed when the inner peripheral portion having a small radius is reproduced, and when the outer peripheral portion having a large radius is reproduced, so that a constant linear velocity can be secured over the entire recording area of the disc. The disk is rotated at a low speed. As a motor for rotating the disk, a brush motor is generally used. The brush motor has an advantage that it can be obtained at a low price, but has a disadvantage that the guaranteed value of the rotation speed is low. For this reason, the recording device to which the brush motor is applied has a problem that the rotation speed of the brush motor easily exceeds the guaranteed value when the inner peripheral portion having a small radius of the disk is reproduced at high speed. ing. For this reason, there is a limit in trying to reproduce the disk from the beginning to the end of the disk at a constant double speed, and it has been impossible to use a brush motor for high-speed reproduction.
[0006]
On the other hand, it is conceivable that a brushless motor is used as a motor of the optical disk high-speed reproduction / recording apparatus. By using the brushless motor, it is possible to increase the rotation speed of the disk. However, the brushless motor has a problem that it is more expensive than the brush motor.
[0007]
Therefore, in an optical disk high-speed reproducing apparatus using a brush motor, in the inner peripheral portion where the rotational speed of the disk is high, the disk is rotated at a constant speed within a range where the rotational speed does not exceed the guaranteed value and is lower than the maximum reproducing speed. There is an optical disk high-speed reproduction / recording apparatus that reproduces and plays back the disk at high speed by switching the reproduction speed of the disk to the highest speed in the outer peripheral portion where the rotation speed of the disk is low (for example, see Patent Document 1). As a result, it is possible to inexpensively create an optical disk high-speed reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing a disk at a high speed without increasing the rotation speed of the brush motor to a value equal to or higher than the guaranteed value.
[0008]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2002-298497
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-mentioned optical disk reproducing apparatus, the reproduction speed of the disk is switched at the boundary between the inner circumference and the outer circumference of the optical disk, so that the entire system is reset at the time of the switching. Therefore, at the time of the reset, the recording is temporarily interrupted, and a part of the signal recorded on the disc is interrupted. As a result, if the signal recorded on the disc is a continuous music signal such as a live recording, the sound is interrupted.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a recording device capable of high-speed recording without interrupting sound while rotating the brush motor at a rotation speed equal to or lower than a guaranteed value.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the recording apparatus of the present invention, the reproducing means converts the digital data recorded on the first optical disc into a first reproducing speed higher than a standard reproducing speed, a second reproducing speed higher than the first reproducing speed, and The playback speed control means controls the playback speed of the playback means to one of the first playback speed, the second playback speed, and the standard playback speed, and the first determination means determines whether the digital data is During playback at the first playback speed, it is determined whether or not the playback position of the first optical disc is after the playback time has reached a predetermined time and between tracks. The second determining means determines, when determining that the reproduction position is between the tracks, whether or not there is a silent state for a predetermined time or more between the tracks and in the vicinity thereof. The playback speed control stage When the digital data indicating a silent state of is determined to exist, it switches the playback speed from the first speed to the second speed.
[0012]
With this configuration, the recording device according to the present embodiment can perform high-speed recording without interrupting sound while rotating the motor at a rotation speed equal to or lower than the guaranteed value.
[0013]
Here, the digital data indicating the silent state in the claims is not limited to the data value = 00, but also includes a data value representing a small sound volume having an allowable range of a certain width.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
(1st Embodiment)
Now, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the overall configuration of the recording device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0026]
First, the subcode SAsb will be described. Although the subcode SAsb is a subcode for MD, it has a similar configuration to the subcode Ssb for CD in principle, and therefore, the subcode information of CD will be described as a representative. As shown in FIG. 2, the subcode SAsb includes a track number 400, an index 401, a minute (MIN) 402 of the elapsed time in the track, a second (Sec) 403 of the elapsed time in the track, and a Frame number (FRAME) 404, zero 405, absolute time (ATIME) minute (AMIN) 406, absolute time (ATIME) second (ASEC) and absolute time (ATIME) frame number (AFRAME) 408.
[0027]
The track number 400 indicates the track number to which the data belongs, and is represented by a 2-digit BCD (Binary Coded Decimal). The index 401 is obtained by subdividing a track, and is represented by a 2-digit BCD. The middle part of FIG. 3 shows how the index 401 changes. The part where the index 401 is “00” indicates the part of Pause between tracks. The index 401 starts from “01” in the track and increments as the music in the track progresses. The index 401 is “AA” in the lead-out.

[0030]
Now, a method of detecting a track change by the recording track number detector 203-2 will be described below. The recording track number detector 203-2 detects a track change by detecting the index 401 of the subcode SAsb output from the writing /

[0033]
Here, the predetermined time will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 4 is a graph showing the relationship between the reproduction position of the disk and the disk rotation speed at the reproduction position when the disk is reproduced at 4 × speed and when the disk is reproduced at 6 × speed. Here, in order to guarantee a reproduction speed of 6 times speed, a value of 7 times speed is used as the motor rotation speed.
[0034]
First, the guaranteed rotation speed of the brush motor according to the present embodiment is 2700 rpm as shown by a dotted line in FIG. However, in the vicinity of the inner circumference of the disk, the number of rotations required for performing the reproduction at 6 × speed is 2700 rpm or more. Therefore, the recording device according to the present embodiment reproduces the disk at a quadruple speed in the inner peripheral portion of the disk that requires a high rotation speed. After a lapse of time, if the playback position reaches a position where the rotation speed of the disk is 2700 rpm or less and the 6 × speed can be played, and the playback position reaches a position where the track is switched, the recording device concerned The playback mode is switched to playback at 6 × speed.
[0035]
Accordingly, a reproduction position at which reproduction at 6 × speed at a rotation speed of 2700 rpm can be calculated as follows. Here, the disc according to the present embodiment is recorded by the CLV method. Therefore, it is assumed that the linear velocity during rotation of the disk is constant at 1.4 m / s. Further, the rotation speed of the disk is rotated at a value of 7 times speed in order to guarantee reproduction at 6 times speed. Further, the radius of the head portion where data is written is 25 mm from the center of the disk. Further, the track pitch is set to 0.0016 mm. Under the above conditions, the position from the center of the disk at which the rotation speed of the disk becomes 2700 rpm during 6 × speed reproduction is represented by the following equation (1).
[0036]
(Equation 1)
[0037]
When the above-mentioned condition is applied to the above equation (1), the rotation speed of the disk reaches 2700 rpm at the time of 6 × speed reproduction at a position 34.7 mm from the center of the disk. Therefore, it is calculated below how long the position 34.7 mm from the center of the disk corresponds to the absolute time. Here, the relationship between the position from the center of the disc and the absolute time is expressed by the following equation (2).
[0038]
(Equation 2)
[0039]
If the above-mentioned condition is applied to the above equation (2), the position at 34.7 mm from the center of the disk is a position at 13.5 minutes in absolute time. Therefore, in the present embodiment, 13.5 minutes is used as an example of the predetermined time.

Here, the audio data

The operation of the recording device configured as described above will be described below. The processes described in the present embodiment can be realized by software using a computer, or can be realized by using a dedicated hardware circuit that performs the processes.
[0042]
Hereinafter, a case in which high-speed recording at quadruple speed is started in the recording device according to the present embodiment and the recording speed is switched to high-speed recording at sixfold speed during recording will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a process performed by the recording device according to the present embodiment when the above operation is performed.

As described above, according to the recording apparatus according to the present embodiment, since the rotation speed higher than the guaranteed rotation speed of the brush motor is not used, a high-speed recording operation can be performed with a long life of the device.
[0064]
Further, according to the recording apparatus of the present embodiment, the switching of the reproduction speed is performed at the point where the track is switched and at the time of silence, so that the recording data of the MD disk generated at the time of the switching of the reproduction speed is changed. Sound interruption is prevented.
[0065]
In addition, according to the recording device of the present embodiment, since the number of rotations of the motor does not exceed the predetermined number of rotations, an inexpensive brushless motor can be applied to the motor, and the cost of the entire apparatus can be reduced.
[0066]
In addition, even if an underrun occurs in the ODC, the playback speed of the disc is switched to 1x speed, so that there is no interruption in sound recording due to the underrun.
[0067]
Further, since the determination as to whether or not a silent state exists for a predetermined time or more is made based on the peak value of the audio data, it is not necessary to detect all signal intensities included in the audio data. As a result, the processing load in the recording device is reduced.
