Abstract
Description
【0001】

Concrete is highly watertight and has a water absorption of about 1% or less in the case of ordinary concrete. For this reason, when a part of the aggregate is replaced with coal ash, voids of the coal ash reduce water tightness and increase water absorption and water retention. However, in this case, the strength of the concrete is reduced, so that the concrete block does not satisfy the standard strength as a concrete block if used in large quantities. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the amount of cement added to reduce the strength, improve the particle size distribution of coal ash and cement, and supplement zeolite and silica fume, but adding these will increase the cost. Occurs.
[0004]
In addition, when fibers are mixed into concrete, the fibers are not mixed well during the production of the concrete, so that the mixing property is reduced, and it is necessary to finely pulverize the fibers. On the other hand, lightweight concrete blocks are mostly used for construction purposes, and after adding silicic acid, lime, silica fume, perlite, etc. to coal ash, press-curing, steam curing, high-temperature high-pressure steam curing or autoclave curing, firing To do so, which increases costs. Therefore, it is a reality that coal ash as industrial waste cannot be effectively used as a concrete block.
[0005]
Also, when the surface is made of porous concrete and a vegetation base material is inserted into the void or a concave portion is provided in the concrete block and the vegetation base material is inserted there, for example, rainwater or running water causes the vegetation base material in the void. May leak out. On the other hand, if the outflow of water is not controlled even if a storage tank for water and nutrients is provided, the water may flow out at once in rainy weather, and may be depleted if clear weather continues for many days.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in order to solve such conventional problems, and the problem to be solved is to make maximum use of coal ash as industrial waste, and to have high water absorption and water retention. To provide a concrete block which is inexpensive, has excellent water retention and water absorption properties and has no problem in construction and can be greened. Further, the present invention provides a concrete block or a concrete block composite for continuously greening by controlling the amount of water flowing out of a water storage tank.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to provide a block as a water storage tank in the upper part, a block having water retention or water permeability in the lower part, and a water retaining concrete provided in the lower part. The greenery is continuously achieved by gradually flowing down the water. Here, there are various block configurations having water retention or water permeability.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, as the water-retaining or water-permeable block, at least one of coal ash and foamed glass is used as a constituent material of concrete.
[0009]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, since the top end (top lid) of the storage tank is made of porous concrete, rainwater is automatically supplied to the water storage tank.
[0010]
In claim 4, the porous concrete at the top end of the storage tank becomes muddy water while rainwater flows down the slope, and the mud contained in the rainwater is prevented from entering the storage tank. It has a convex portion or a concave portion. In addition, by continuously providing the projections or the depressions, mud contained in rainwater can be removed downstream.
[0011]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in order to control the amount of water flowing out of the upper water storage tank, the storage tank has a portion in which the stored water flows in a fixed amount. In this way, even if the sunny weather continues for many days, the water content of the lower concrete is prevented from being depleted, and greening is continuously achieved.
[0012]
In the sixth aspect, the portion to be flowed at a fixed amount is made of one or more of permeable concrete, porous mortar, or permeable fiber in which a part of the aggregate is replaced with coal ash.
[0013]
In
[0014]
In claim 8, the permeable concrete block is inserted into a water pipe and can be replaced when concrete is clogged.
[0015]
In
[0016]
In a tenth aspect, a filter material is provided so that a portion flowing down to the storage tank is not clogged with mud.
[0017]
In claim 11, the clinker ash is spread as a filter material provided in the storage tank, and the clinker ash has fine pores, is excellent in water permeability, and is hardly compacted even when left for a long time. It is an environment suitable as a material.
[0018]
In a twelfth aspect, the lower block surface has a layer of porous concrete or porous mortar so as to promote the supply of moisture.
[0019]
According to a thirteenth aspect, a water storage tank and a nutrient storage tank are provided inside the lower block so as to promote the growth of moss.
[0020]
In claim 14, the lower block has foamed glass on the surface or forms a layer covering the surface, and the portion or layer having the foamed glass on the surface has irregularities of 1 to 5 cm. . Thereby, the internal moisture can be supplied to the surface, and the growth of moss can be promoted. In addition, by providing irregularities, the surface area is increased, the amount of evaporation of water is increased, and moss propagation is promoted. In addition, it is possible to suppress the spores of moss due to rainwater.
[0021]
In claim 15, the surface of only the convex portion of the unevenness of the surface is coated with a photocatalyst or a mortar containing a photocatalyst and an adsorbent to suppress the growth of moss in the convex portion, and the moss is reduced in the concave portion. It encourages growth. Thus, when the block is used for purifying the atmosphere, the nitrogen oxides in the air are decomposed by the photocatalysis at the convex portions, and the eluted nitrogen or phosphorus is received at the concave portions to become fertilizer and grow moss. Can be encouraged. In this case, since the foamed glass has many holes or irregularities on the surface, the coated photocatalyst or the mortar containing the photocatalyst and the adsorbent is difficult to peel off, and the effect is long-lasting.
[0022]

[0023]

The method of obtaining fly ash and clinker ash, which are coal ash that is a constituent material of concrete, is not particularly limited. For example, it can be obtained at extremely low cost as a by-product in a thermal power plant.
[0031]
Fly ash is, for example, particles of ash (coal ash) in a molten state generated during the combustion of coal, which are suspended in high-temperature combustion gas and transported. It can be obtained by supplementing the location with an electric dust collector. The fly ash obtained in this way is fine particles having a diameter of about 15 μm, and is confirmed to be spherical by observation with an (optical) microscope. For this reason, if fly ash is mixed into concrete or mortar, the fluidity at the time of construction is improved. The main components of fly ash are silica and alumina.
[0032]
In addition, clinker ash can be obtained, for example, by collecting coal ash that has fallen into a water tank (clinker hopper) at the bottom of the boiler when burning coal, crushing and crushing this with a crusher, and adjusting the particle size. In the above-mentioned water tank, since it is rapidly cooled from a red hot state, it is chemically stable. In addition, it is more preferable that the particle size is almost the size of coarse sand to fine gravel by adjusting the particle size. Clinker ash is a so-called porous coal ash containing silica and alumina as main components and having many small pores, and has a specific surface area of 4.5 m 2 / g, which is about 4.5 times that of sand.
[0033]
Therefore, clinker ash is superior in water permeability and water retention as compared with general soil constituent materials such as sand. In addition, the freezing depth is about 10% shallower than that of sand, so that the antifreezing effect is excellent. For this reason, it is suitable for holding moisture of the concrete composition. The above fly ash and clinker ash are classified according to the place where they occur, and are described in Chapter 1, page 17 of the “Coal Ash Handbook 3rd Edition” edited and published by the Environmental Technology Association and the Japan Fly Ash Association. Its definition is described.
[0034]
In order to examine the water retention of this clinker ash, graph 1 shows the result of examining the change in the water content of the clinker ash left indoors. As a result, it became clear that the clinker ash had a water content of about 50% for about 10 days even if it was left as it was. It took about 26 days for the water to completely disappear.
[0035]
[0036]
By using clinker ash as a filter material in the water storage tank, water can be supplied to the lower

As shown in Table 1, in the examples, part of the sand aggregate was replaced with coal ash. The mixing of water and cement was corrected so as to obtain a predetermined workability while observing the state of mixing in the mixer.
[0041]
As shown in Table 2, by replacing part of the sand aggregate with coal ash, the strength of the concrete decreases. Reference intensity of secondary concrete products are 18N / mm 2, a target intensity of a factory in consideration of variations between 30 N / mm 2. Then, when CA is used,
[0042]
An experiment was conducted to examine the effect of the water-retaining concrete. Water-retaining concrete of 100 cm × 100 cm × 10 cm was produced, sand was laid outdoors, concrete was laid on the concrete, moss was planted at a planting rate of 30%, and the growth condition was observed. A foamed glass layer was provided on the surface of the water-retaining concrete, and the foamed glass layer was provided with irregularities of about 5 cm at the maximum. As a result, the planting rate of the water-retaining concrete became 50% after six months. Here, the foamed glass is produced by foaming waste glass in a high-temperature pot, and in this experiment, the foamed glass was crushed to a size of 20 mm or less and used.
[0043]
An experiment was conducted to examine the effect of the water retention block. A block D made of ordinary concrete and having the same size as the water-retentive block C of 30 cm × 30 cm × 10 cm was produced, and was left outdoors so that the lower half was immersed in water and exposed to sunlight from above. As a result, after 3 hours, the surface temperature of the block C was lower by 1 ° C. than that of the block D.
[0044]
It is considered that a weakly acidic pH of 6 to 7 is suitable for growing a plant. However, concrete is strongly alkaline with a pH of 11 to 13, and coal ash is generally alkaline with a pH of 6 to 10. Therefore, the alkalinity can be neutralized by absorbing a weakly acidic aqueous solution into the water-retaining concrete. In addition, the growth of moss can be promoted by absorbing water-soluble fertilizer.
[0045]
When the layer where a part of the fine aggregate of concrete is replaced with coal ash does not satisfy the standard strength of the concrete block, or when reinforcing bars are inserted into the block, the layer where part of the aggregate is not replaced with coal ash Can also be installed.
[0046]
Next, a concrete block or a concrete block composite according to another embodiment B will be described with reference to FIG. In the present embodiment B, the same components as those in the embodiment A are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted. The block composite according to Embodiment B of the present invention is provided with a

The block composite may be provided with water holes in the concrete layer for reducing the water pressure behind and supplying water. In addition, when the water retention block has water holes when installed on an existing wall surface, it is desirable to previously install water holes on the existing wall surface.
[0053]
The embodiment of the present invention has been described above. However, the specific configuration of the present invention is not limited to the present embodiment, and even if there is a design change or the like without departing from the spirit of the present invention, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. Included in the invention. For example, the setting of the target strength may be changed at any time depending on the site conditions, the place of use, the method of use, and the like. The blocks are not limited to concrete but may be made of mortar. In addition, a reinforcing bar, a reinforcing fiber, and a water retention material can be inserted therein, or used as porous concrete.
[0054]
Further, in the present embodiment, the method of laying the water retention block on the slope and the existing wall surface has been described, but the invention can also be applied to other civil engineering structures. In addition, although the anchor is used this time for mounting the block, other methods can be used. The place of use and the method of use are also arbitrary. The shape of the block is not limited to a square shape, but may be any shape. A hole for inserting a reinforcing bar may be formed in the block. The thickness and size of the block are also arbitrary. Furthermore, the mixing ratio of the water retention block may be determined in consideration of the place to be used and the properties of coal ash and foamed glass.
[0055]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the concrete block or the concrete block composite of the present invention, a block serving as a water storage tank is provided at an upper portion, and a coal ash or a foamed glass is provided at a lower portion thereof as a constituent material of concrete. The block is provided, and the water can gradually flow through the water-retaining concrete provided at the lower portion, whereby greening can be continuously achieved. In addition, since concrete has water absorbency and water retention, when used outdoors, the surface temperature can be lower than that of ordinary concrete, which leads to a reduction in the urban heat island phenomenon.
[0056]
When the surface is coated with a photocatalyst or mortar containing a photocatalyst and an adsorbent, the nitrogen oxides in the air are differentiated to purify the air, and when nitrogen and phosphorus are absorbed by plants, the downstream river It is also possible to suppress an increase in the load of water quality on water. On the other hand, a large amount of coal ash generated from thermal power plants can be effectively utilized, and can contribute to the formation of a resource recycling society.
