本発明は、特定の地域でその地域に見合った地域情報を提供する地域情報提供システムに関する。また、ＩＰＶ６対応の情報家電端末装置の普及を考え、ユビキタス社会に対応したシステムも視野に入れた、地域情報提供システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
ネットワーク技術の発展によって、パソコン（パーソナルコンピューター）などにインターネットを介して広告情報などの地域情報を提供する形態が多様化している。

一般にインターネット上の情報を検索するためには、検索エンジンやリンク集の機能を有するポータルサイトが使用される。従来のポータルサイトは全国など広い範囲かつ不特定人を対象としているため、地域に密着した情報を検索することが難しい。

また、近年では、マンションなどの集合住宅に予め世帯ごとにインターネット接続手段が備わっていることが多い。このようなマンションでは、各世帯が必要とする地域情報が共通するため、マンション用のホームページが用意されていることがある。

特許文献１に開示される地域限定サービス網によれば、インターネットへの接続手段を用いて地域限定サービスのための情報を送受しても、地域限定サービスの契約者とサービス提供業者のみが利用できる閉鎖的なネットワークを構築することができ、したがって、契約者は所望のネットサービスの画面に到達するまでの時間と手間を節約でき、サービス提供業者側も宅配コストや広告費用を節約できることが提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した特許文献１のシステムなどマンションに付属したサービスは、マンション居住者から徴収される管理費を用いて、マンション管理会社によって運営される。そのため、サービスの運営費用が増大すると住民の管理費が増額されるという問題がある。また、マンションの近隣地域においても、マンションのサービスを利用するためには費用が掛かる。

また、特許文献１のようなサービスによれば、各世帯の居住者は、パソコンなどの端末を使用していないときは、地域限定サービスの情報を閲覧することができない。また、世帯によって地域限定サービスを利用する頻度が異なるため、全ての居住者に一様に情報を提供することが難しい。そのため、居住者にとっては必要な情報を見逃すことがあり、地域情報提供者にとっては情報の伝達効率が良くないという問題がある。

また、特許文献１では、インターネットマンションと同様の地域情報サービスがインターネットマンション近隣の世帯に提供されることが提案されている。そのため、インターネットマンションに限定した情報を配信することができず、地域情報サービスがマンションに特化したサービスでなくなり、他のマンションとの差別化が難しい。

また、特定の地域の範囲内でも、地域情報を配信する施設や場所によって、サービス利用者が所望する情報は異なる。そのため、全ての端末が同じホームページにアクセスすると、例えば、マンションの管理情報が戸建て住宅にも配信されるなど施設や場所に関係の無い情報が提供されたり、さらにはある施設に限ったゴミ捨て情報が他の施設にも配信されるなど誤解を生じたりする。また、地域情報提供者にとっても地域内の特定の施設にのみ情報を配信したいが、他の施設にも配信されるため、地域情報を配信できないという問題がある。

また、施設や場所ごとに別個の地域限定サービスを提供すると、システムの整備や運用などの管理に労力や費用が必要になる。

また、特許文献１では、地域情報提供者、主に広告情報提供者からの広告情報は端末使用者が任意に検索して閲覧することが開示されている。そのため、端末使用者が興味を示さない広告情報は閲覧される頻度が低くなり、そのような広告情報の提供者にとっては広告効率が良くないという問題がある。さらに、サービス利用者にとっても検索などの作業をしなくても必要な情報は欲しいという要望もある。

また、特許文献１では、各世帯がインターネットに接続可能な端末を所有する必要があり、そのような端末を有しない世帯ではサービスを利用することができない、又は、サービスを利用するためにはシステム環境を整えなくてはならないという問題がある。

また、従来、ホームページを更新するためには、手動によって、地域情報提供者からの地域情報をサーバに入力し、ホームページのレイアウトを変更するなど編集を行い、変更後のホームページファイルをインターネットに配信する。そのため、サービス運用者が地域情報提供者から地域情報を受け取ってから、その情報がホームページにアップされるまである程度の時間を要する。これは、例えば、特定の地域のスーパーが本日の安売り情報を提供したり、特定の地域に限った緊急情報を提供したりするなど、情報がリアルタイムに提供されることが要求される場合には、情報提供からホームページに掲載されるまである程度のタイムラグが生じるため好ましくない。

また、地域限定ネットワークでは、スーパーや商店街などの地域に密着した店舗からの広告情報を提供することができる。一方で、このような店舗では、従来から新聞の折り込みチラシなどが用いられている。このチラシを郵送や配達でサービス運用者に提供するには時間が掛かり、また、チラシなど紙媒体をホームページに掲載するために加工することは手間が掛かるという問題がある。

そこで、本発明の目的としては、特定地域内の地域住人に地域情報をリアルタイムかつ効果的に配信することができるとともに、地域住民は無償で地域情報を得て活用することができ、さらに地域情報とともに広告情報を配信することで広告収入を得ることができる地域情報提供システムを提供することである。

【発明を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る第１の構成は、サービス提供者が、特定地域に地域情報の提供を希望する地域情報提供者から地域情報を受け取り、当該地域情報を地域住人に提供するための地域情報提供システムであって、前記地域情報提供者から提供される特定地域内の地域情報が複数記憶され、当該地域情報を掲載するための地域限定ポータルサイトを通信手段上に配信するサービス提供者側のサーバ装置と、特定地域内の複数箇所の施設に設置され、前記通信手段を介して前記地域限定ポータルサイトを受信し、受信した前記地域限定ポータルサイトが表示画面に表示される表示用端末装置と、を有することを特徴とする地域情報提供システムである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に係る実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。なお、本実施の形態における例示が本発明を限定することはない。

（第１の実施の形態）
以下、本発明を有効に実施できる地域情報提供システムの第１の実施の形態について説明する。

本第１の実施の形態に係る地域情報システムは、サービス提供者が、特定地域内に見合った地域情報を提供するための地域限定ポータルサイトを作成し、特定地域内の複数施設に設けた表示用端末装置に地域限定ポータルサイトを配信し、特定地域内の不特定の地域住人に地域情報を提供するものである。前記表示用端末装置はマンションの共用部又は専用部、コンビニエンスストア、駅、バス停、市役所、学校、事務所などに設置される。

また、本地域情報システムは、地域情報システムを使用して地域住人に広告情報の提供を希望するコンテンツ提供者が支払う広告代金を用いて運営され、地域住民は無償で地域情報を得ることができる。

以下、地域情報提供システムの運営方法の一例について図１を用いて説明する。

図１に示すように、サービス提供会社１は、コンテンツ提供者２からの広告情報を地域住人３へ提供するための広告システム１００を運営し、地域住人３に広告の提供を希望しているコンテンツ提供者２と広告システム１００の使用について契約を行なう。

また、サービス提供会社１は、特定地域内のディスプレイが掲示される施設４と、サービスの使用について契約を行う。そして、サービス提供会社１は、ディスプレイ設置施設４にディスプレイが設置されると、当該ディスプレイに広告システム１００を使用して地域情報を配信する。ディスプレイは、ディスプレイ設置施設４側で用意され、又はサービス提供会社１側で用意される。また、ディスプレイは既存のディスプレイを用いることもできる。

コンテンツ提供者２は、広告代金をサービス提供会社１に支払う。そして、サービス提供会社１は、広告システム１００を使って地域住人３に広告情報を配信する。これによって、コンテンツ提供者２は、地域住人３に効率的に広告情報を提供することができる。

また、広告システム１００において広告情報の配信先は、マンションやコンビニエンスストアなど特定地域内の複数の施設を含むため、多数の地域住人に広告情報を提供することができる。そのため、コンテンツ提供者は、広告配信地域を限定しながら、広告情報源である店舗などの近隣の住人に特定して広告情報を提供し得る。

また、このような広告によってコンテンツ提供者の利益が拡大すれば広告代金が増化するため、広告システム１００の内容を改善し、地域住人３により便利なサービスを提供することができる。

図２において、コンテンツ提供者２は、新聞折り込みチラシ１０や手書き広告１１などの広告情報を、ファクシミリ１２を使用し通信手段の一形態としての電話回線８０を介してサービス提供会社１に送信する。

本広告システム１００では、特定地域内にその地域に密着した情報を提供することができる。そのため、特定地域内のスーパーマーケットや商店街などからの広告情報を効果的に広告できる。このような店舗では、従来インターネット上での広告に対してコスト・技術・効果などの点から価値を見出せずに参入を見送ることが多かった。そのため、本広告システム１００を用いるときに既存の設備で簡単に広告情報を提供できることが要望される。本第１の実施の形態では、このような問題に鑑み、従来の広告媒体である新聞折り込みチラシや手書き広告を、ファクシミリ装置を用いて電話回線８０を介してサービス提供会社１に送信することができる。

サービス提供会社１は、ＬＡＮ（ＬｏｃａｌＡｒｅａＮｅｔｗｏｒｋ）２００上に、コンテンツ提供者２からの広告情報を受信して処理する業務サーバ２０と、コンテンツ提供者情報が保存されるデータ−ベース（ＤＢ）サーバ３０と、インターネットなどの通信ネットワークに接続されるｗｗｗ（ｗｏｒｌｄｗｉｄｅｗｅｂ）サーバ４０とを設けている。ルーター５０は、ＬＡＮ２００上に設置され、通信手段の一形態としてのインターネット９０を介して送信される情報を各サーバに割り振り、かつ各サーバからインターネット９０上に情報を配信する。また、モデム６０は、ＬＡＮ２００上に設置され、コンテンツ提供者２からファクシミリ１２によって電話回線８０を介して送信される広告情報を受信し、各サーバに送信する。

本第１の実施の形態では、前記業務サーバ２０、前記ＤＢサーバ３０、及び前記ｗｗｗサーバ４０からなる３つのサーバ装置を使用しているが、これらの機能を１つのサーバ装置に行なわせることもできる。また、サービス提供会社がサーバ装置を所有する他にも、サーバ装置の維持管理を外部に請け負わせることもできる。

前記広告情報処理部２３では、ファクシミリデータをＢＭＰ（ｂｉｔｍａｐ）ファイル・ＪＰＥＧ（ＪｏｉｎｔＰｈｏｔｏｇｒａｐｈｉｃＥｘｐｅｒｔＧｒｏｕｐ）ファイル・ＰＤＦ（ＰｏｒｔａｂｌｅＤｏｃｕｍｅｎｔＦｏｒｍａｔ）ファイルなどの画像データに処理し、必要であれば画面サイズに合わせて画像のサイズを変更する。また、前記コンテンツ提供者情報送信部２５では、受信した広告情報にファイル名を付し、広告情報のファイル名と広告情報の送信元の電話番号と受信した日時をＤＢサーバ３０に送信する。

前記コンテンツ提供者情報ＤＢには、業務サーバ２０から送信されるコンテンツ提供者情報として広告情報のファイル名、送信元ファクシミリ番号、及び受信日時が記憶される。また、コンテンツ提供者情報ＤＢには、予めコンテンツ提供者２の店舗名と電話番号、広告契約期間が記憶され、業務サーバ２０から送信されるコンテンツ提供者情報から、店舗名と広告契約期間がわかるようになっている。そして、広告情報が、契約店舗からのものであり、広告契約期間中であることを確認することができる。

前記ホームページ自動生成部４４では、地域情報を限定して検索することができる地域限定ポータルサイトのひな型があらかじめ作成されてあって、そのポータルサイトの表示画面にコンテンツ提供者２からの広告情報を組み込むようになっている。地域限定ポータルサイトは、いくつかのメニューが表示されるメインページと、メインページのメニュー表示からリンクされるメニューページと、さらにメニューページごとにリンクされる複数の下層ページとからなる。例えば、メインページには広告情報をカテゴリー別にメニュー表示し、メニューページには広告情報の詳細をインデックス表示し、下層ページには広告情報そのものを表示することで、広告情報を階層に分類して検索可能に構成する。

また、前記ホームページ自動生成部４４では、操作が行われない状態で広告情報が閲覧可能な待機画面用ホームページが作成される。待機画面用ホームページは、ディスプレイ上に複数の広告情報を一定の間隔で順次切り換えて表示する、いわゆるスライドショーのようなページである。

前記ディスプレイ７５としては、ブラウン管によるものや液晶によるもの、プラズマディスプレイ、エレクトロルミネセンスディスプレイを用いることができる。この他にも、表示用端末装置７０にプロジェクターを使って壁面に投影することもできる。

本第１の実施の形態に係る表示用端末装置７０は、図６に示すように、マンション、コンビニエンスストア、駅、バス停、ホテル、学校、市役所、事務所など特定地域内の複数箇所の施設に設置される。また、カーナビゲーションの画面に本広告システムを組み込むことやＩＰｖ６対応情報家電に組み込むことも可能である。

例えば、マンションは、居住者の世帯である専用部と、それ以外の居住者が共同して使用するエントランス部や廊下などの共用部とを有する。

マンションの共用部であるエントランス部６には、図４に示すように、入口３０１と、郵便受け３０２と、管理人窓口３０３と、インターホン３０４と、オートロック方式のドア３０５と、上記したディスプレイ７５とが設けられている。ディスプレイ７５は、マンション内で地域住人３が通行するときに目にとまりやすい場所に設けるとよく、図４の他にも、共用部である廊下・階段やエレベータなどに設置することができる。また、ディスプレイ７５は、共用部の壁面に掛けたり、共用部に設置した設置台の上に置いたり、共用部の壁面に嵌め込むようにして設置することができる。また、マンションの各住居内に設けることもできる。

マンションの専用部である各世帯には、ＩＰｖ６対応の情報家電端末を設け、この端末に上記した表示用端末装置７０として地域限定ポータルサイトを配信することができる。情報家電端末としては、常に電源が入った状態の家電として冷蔵庫や電話などに、ディスプレイを組み込んだものを使用することができる。このような情報家電端末のディスプレイは常に地域限定ポータルサイトを表示することができるため、居住者は家庭内で地域情報を閲覧することができる。また、コンテンツ提供者にとっても地域住人に効率良く情報を提供することができる。なお、前記情報家電端末はマンションに限らず、特定地域内の一戸建ての世帯や宿泊施設などにも設置することができる。

また、コンビニエンスストアなどの店舗では、レジスターの金額表示のための画面を設け、その画面に地域限定ポータルサイトを表示する画面を組み込むことも可能である。また、店頭や陳列棚に新たにディスプレイを設けてもよい。
