医薬品包装の分野で、錠剤、カプセル剤等の固形剤包装用として一般に用いられているPTP包装は透明性、成形性、腰の強さ、コスト面から主に硬質ポリ塩化ビニールからなるシートを底材として用い、該底材をポケット形状に成形し、その中に固形剤(錠剤、カプセル剤など)を充填し、アルミ箔からなる蓋材で密封した包装体であり、1960年代前半に実用化され広く普及してきた。

PTP包装は、底材である硬質塩化ビニルシートを加熱成形し、固形剤(錠剤、カプセル)を充填し、アルミ箔の蓋材をシール密封するPTP用自動連続成形包装機で梱包される。PTP用自動連続成形機は、底材である硬質塩化ビニルシートを塑性変形領域の温度にシートを予熱する加熱板または加熱ドラムを有する。底材である硬質塩化ビニルシートの表面状態(光沢度)が高い場合、加熱板または加熱ドラムとの滑り性が悪くなり、シートの一部分が加熱板または加熱ドラムに付着して、シート送り方向に対して、シートの蛇行が発生し、成形不具合を発生する場合がある。

特許文献1には、塩化ビニル樹脂シートのプレス加工時に化粧板との密着を防止するため、カレンダー加工工程においてエンボス加工を施して原反シートの表面に微細な凹凸を形成することが記載されている。これをPTP包装用の硬質塩化ビニルシートに適用した場合、内部ヘイズを一定以下に保つ配合のシートでエンボス加工を行えば、シートをPTP成形する時、ポケット部表面の凹凸は、成形により伸ばされ凹凸がなめらかになり、PTP成形品のポケットの視認性(透明性)はある程度確保される。

本発明は、硬質塩化ビニルPTP用シートにおける前述の問題点を解決するため種々の検討を行った結果なされたもので、その目的とするところは、PTP連続成形機の予熱ゾーンである加熱板または加熱ドラムにおいて滑り性を付与し、且つPTP成形内容物充填後の内容物の視認性(透明性)・内容物の形状を安定確保する事に優れた、硬質塩化ビニルによるPTP包装用シートを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、カレンダーロールで製膜された硬質塩化ビニル樹脂からなるPTP包装用シートであって、直接加熱真空成形機又は直接加熱圧空成形機の熱板付着防止のため、表面光沢度50〜145、及び表面粗さRa:0.70〜0.28μmに加工され、かつ内部ヘイズが45%以下であることを特徴とするPTP包装用シートである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明のPTP包装用シートは、硬質塩化ビニル樹脂をカレンダーロールによる圧延成形で製膜して製造される。カレンダーロールは、好ましくは3本から6本のカレンダーロールで構成される。
カレンダーロールで製膜するシートの場合、最終2本のロールの表面状態がシートの表面光沢度、表面の平滑性に影響を与える。透明感を有するシートを製膜する場合、最終2本のロールを鏡面加工されたロールで製膜することが好ましい。

本発明のPTP包装用シートは、硬質塩化ビニルシートで、厚みが0.1〜0.5mmであることが好ましい。

本発明のPTP包装用シートは、シート表面(両面)の光沢度が、JIS−Z−8741の方法2(60度鏡面光沢)に基づく測定において、50〜145、もしくは表面粗さが、JIS−B−6010の算術平均粗さ(Ra)に基づく測定において、0.70〜0.28μmであることが必要である。光沢度が50%未満、あるいはRaが0.7μmを超える場合では、PTP連続成形機で成形後のポケット表面に凹凸が残り、光の乱反射が発生したり、内容物を擦ったりする。又、光沢度が145を超える、あるいはRaが0.28μm未満であるとPTP連続成形機の予熱ゾーンである加熱板または加熱ドラムにおいて滑り性が劣り、加熱板付着によるシート蛇行等のトラブルを発生させる。
好ましくは、JIS−Z−8741の方法2(60度鏡面光沢)に基づく測定において、光沢度は80〜135、あるいは表面粗さが、JIS−B−6010の算術平均粗さ(Ra)に基づく測定において、0.6〜0.31μmであり、PTP連続成形機の予熱ゾーンの加熱板または加熱ドラムの表面の状態、劣化の影響を受け難くする。
更に好ましくは、JIS−Z−8741の方法2(60度鏡面光沢)に基づく測定において、光沢度100〜135、及び表面粗さが、JIS−B−6010の算術平均粗さ(Ra)に基づく測定において、0.5〜0.31μmであり、PTP連続成形機の成形温度が振れ、成形部であるポッケトの厚みの均一性が損なわれ、不均一な伸びの状態でも、均一な光沢を発する凹凸が得られる。

表1に示した配合を主としてポリ塩化ビニル樹脂に安定剤、滑剤、補強剤、着色剤を添加した原料をリボンブレンダーで混合後、ミルロールにて溶融した。次いで、逆L型4本ロールのカレンダー成形機で、最終2本(No3ロール、No4ロール)のロール温度を表2に示した条件に変化させ、厚み0.25mmに製膜後、クーリングロールで常温に冷却して、硬質塩化ビニルシートを作成した。
