しかしながら、塗膜内に混在させた薬剤の揮散量を向上させるには従来の技術では十分とは言えず、検討の余地があった。そこで本発明の課題は、揮散性薬剤の揮散量を向上させ目的とする薬効を得ることができる塗膜形成組成物を提供することである。

本発明者らは上記の課題を満足するために鋭意検討した結果、塗膜形成剤と揮散性薬剤とを含んだ塗膜形成組成物に、前記揮散性薬剤の揮散調整剤として、グリコールエーテル又はエーテル系界面活性剤から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を含有させると、前記揮散性薬剤の揮散量が明らかに向上されることを見出し本発明を完成するに至った。すなわち本発明は以下の塗膜形成組成物により達成されるものである。
(1)塗膜形成剤と揮散性薬剤とを含んだ塗膜形成組成物であって、前記揮散性薬剤の揮散調整剤として、グリコールエーテル又はエーテル系界面活性剤から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を含有させたことを特徴とする塗膜形成組成物。
(2)塗膜形成剤が、分子量700以上の高分子化合物であることを特徴とする(1)記載の塗膜形成組成物。
(3)揮散性薬剤が、20℃における蒸気圧が0.1mPa以上であることを特徴とする(1)又は(2)記載の塗膜形成組成物。
(4)揮散性薬剤が、防虫剤、殺虫剤、防かび剤、香料、消臭剤、殺菌剤、又は忌避剤からなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上であることを特徴とする(1)乃至(3)のいずれか1つに記載の塗膜形成組成物。
