Abstract
【課題】 本発明は、ランプの異常点灯状態を検出できる機能を有する液晶表示装置用バックライト装置を提供することを目的としている。
【解決手段】 反射板と、反射板の表面から所定距離隔てて互いに平行に配列された複数のランプと、反射板の表面に形成されて、各ランプと同数の複数の金属板と、ランプに交流電源が印加される時、金属板に誘起される電圧信号を受信し、正極性の成分を通過させて、各金属板と同数の複数の整流部と、各整流部に各々連結され、該当整流部の出力信号からリップル成分を取り除いて直流電圧を生成する複数の平滑部と、各平滑部から出力される直流電圧に対して論理積演算を行い、その結果をシャット-ダウン信号として出力する論理積素子と、ランプの点灯及び消灯を制御する調光信号を受信して、調光信号の消灯期間中はシャット-ダウン機能が作用しないように制御する調光エラー遮断部を含む。

Claims (17)
- 反射板と、
前記反射板の表面から所定距離隔てて配列された複数のランプと、
前記ランプから離れた所で前記ランプに流れる電気信号を感知する複数の感知部と、 を含む液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。 - 前記ランプは、外部に電極が設けられた構造を有する外部電極型蛍光ランプである請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記各ランプの両端には交流の電圧が印加される請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記各ランプは互いに並列に連結され、各ランプの両端には交流電源が印加される請求項1または請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記感知部は金属板から構成される請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記感知部は電気誘導現象を利用して前記電気信号を感知する請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記感知部の数は前記ランプの数と同一である請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 反射板と、
前記反射板の表面から所定距離隔てて配列された複数のランプと、
前記反射板の一面に前記各ランプと対応するように備えられている複数の感知部と、
前記ランプに交流電源が印加される時、前記各感知部に誘起される電気信号を受信して、特定極性の成分を通過させる複数の整流部と、
前記各整流部の出力信号を直流電圧に変換する複数の平滑部、そして
前記平滑部から出力される直流電圧に対して論理積演算を行い、これに基づいて前記ランプに供給される電源を遮断するための出力を生成する論理積素子、
を含む液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。 - 前記ランプの点灯及び消灯を制御する調光信号に基づいて、前記調光信号の消灯期間中は前記論理積素子の出力により電源供給が遮断されないように制御する調光エラー遮断部をさらに含む請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記ランプは、外部に電極が設けられた構造を有する外部電極蛍光ランプである請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記各ランプの両端には、交流の電圧が印加される請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記整流部は、対応する感知部に誘起される電圧信号の特定極性成分を通過させる第1ダイオードと、
前記対応する金属板に誘起される電圧信号の他極性成分を遮断する第2ダイオード、そして
前記第1ダイオードに連結され、電流経路を形成する抵抗を含む請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。 - 前記平滑部は、直列連結された抵抗とキャパシターから構成され、前記キャパシターに充電された電圧を前記論理積素子の入力に提供する請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記調光エラー遮断部は、前記調光信号をベースを通じて受信し、エミッタを通じて電源電圧の印加を受け、コレクターの信号を前記論理積素子の出力の代りに提供するためのトランジスタから構成される請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記ランプの初期点灯期間中に、前記論理積素子の出力により電源供給が遮断されないように初期点灯信号を所定時間遅延させる時定数設定部をさらに含む請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記時定数設定部は、並列連結された抵抗とキャパシターから構成される請求項15に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
- 前記感知部は、前記反射板の一側表面に備えられた金属板から構成される請求項8または請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置用バックライト装置。
