Abstract
【解決手段】 天然ガス・パイプラインの故障を検出する方法であって、パイプラインの一部を遠隔プラットフォームから照射し;パイプラインからのリターン放射線を検出し;スペクトル・シグネチャがパイプラインの故障箇所から漏れている天然ガスの噴出流が存在することを示しているとき、パイプラインの故障が存在すると判断し;パイプラインの故障が所定の座標位置で検出されたことを顧客に伝える、方法。

Description
(a) 上記パイプラインの一部を遠隔プラットフォームから照射する工程と、
(b) 上記パイプラインからのリターン放射線を検出する工程と、
(c) スペクトル・シグネチャが上記パイプラインの故障箇所から漏れている天然ガスの噴出流が存在することを示しているとき、上記パイプラインの故障が存在すると判断する工程と、
(d) 上記パイプラインの故障が所定の座標位置で検出されたことを顧客に伝える工程と、を有する方法により達成される。

Claims (5)
- 天然ガス・パイプラインの故障を検出する方法であって、
(a) 前記パイプラインの一部を遠隔プラットフォームから照射する工程と、
(b) 前記パイプラインからのリターン放射線を検出する工程と、
(c) スペクトル・シグネチャが前記パイプラインの故障箇所から漏れている天然ガスの噴出流が存在することを示しているとき、前記パイプラインの故障が存在すると判断する工程と、
(d) 前記パイプラインの故障が所定の座標位置で検出されたことを顧客に伝える工程と、を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記プラットフォームは、放射線で前記パイプラインを照らし、リターン放射線が故障を示すスペクトル・シグネチャを有するか否かを判断するオンボード光源を有する1以上の飛行機又は衛星を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記スペクトル・データの分析は、前記漏れている天然ガス混合物の様々な化学成分の判断を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記スペクトル・データの分析は、エタン及びメタンが存在するか否かの判断を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 天然ガス・パイプラインの故障を検出する方法であって、
(a) 前記パイプラインからの熱輻射を検出する工程と、
(b) 熱輻射シグネチャが前記パイプラインの故障箇所から漏れている天然ガスの噴出流が存在することを示しているとき、前記パイプラインの故障が存在すると判断する工程と、
(c) 前記パイプラインの故障が所定の座標位置で検出されたことを顧客に伝える工程と、を有することを特徴とする方法。
