本発明は、漁網等を海上の所定の位置で係止するために用いられる金属製のフロートに関する。

【従来の技術】
漁網等に用いられるフロートは、海が荒れた時には漁網とともに水中に引っ張り込まれることがあり、ある程度水中に沈み込んでも破損することのない耐圧性が求められる。耐圧性を向上させるには、フロートを構成する部材の材質を強靱なものにするか肉厚を厚くすれば良いが、そうすると重量が重くなって浮力が小さくなり好ましくない。そこで特許文献1に記載されているように、フロートの表面にリブを設けて補強したりしている。また表面にリブを突出して設けると、潮流等から受ける抵抗力が大きくなって何かと不都合なので、リブをフロートの内部側に突出して設けることもある。

また最近のフロートは、管体を貫通して設けてその管体に漁網等のロープを挿通して取り付けるようにしたものが大半である。そのようなフロートの構造として、特許文献2に記載されているように、椀状の二つの分割体を接合して構成したものがある。また図5に示すように、分割体15の開口縁部に、中央に向けて突出する補強用リブ13を設ける場合もある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
過酷な環境で使用されるフロートや大型のフロートでは、上記のようにリブを設けて補強してあっても耐圧性が十分ではなく、変形したり破損したりすることがあった。また、椀状の分割体を接合した構造のものでは、分割体同士の接合部分から破損しやすい欠点があった。本発明は以上に述べた実情に鑑み、耐圧性が大きく且つ製作のしやすい金属製フロートの提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を達成するために請求項1記載の発明による金属製フロートは、椀状の二つの分割体からなる中空の本体と、各分割体の底部に設けた孔を通り本体を貫通する管体と、本体内部に設けた補強体を備え、本体は、一方の分割体の開口縁部を他方の分割体の開口縁部の内側に呑み込ませ、他方の分割体の開口端面と一方の分割体の外側面を溶接してあり、補強体は管体を通す孔を有し、補強体の周囲を一方の分割体の開口縁部に当接して溶接してあることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。本発明の金属製フロートは、図1に示すように、ラグビーボール状の形をした中空の本体1と、本体1の中心軸に沿って貫通して設けた管体2と、本体内部に設けられ本体1を内側から補強する円盤状の補強体3とから構成されている。これらの部品の材質はアルミニウム合金であり、溶接によって組み立ててある。

本体1は、椀状の二つの分割体4a,4bからなっており、図1と図2に示すように、一方の分割体4aの開口縁部5aを他方の分割体4bの開口縁部5bの内側に呑み込ませ、他方の分割体4bの開口端面14と一方の分割体4aの外側面を溶接してある。なお、他方の分割体4bの開口縁部5bは、一方の分割体4aの開口縁部5aを呑み込むために、分割体の板厚分だけ拡径してある。また両分割体4a,4bは、底部の中心位置に管体2を通す孔10を設けてある。分割体4a,4bは、アルミニウム合金の厚さ2ミリ程度の板をプレス加工して形成している。

補強体3もアルミニウム合金の板材をプレス成形したものであって、図3に示すように、外周部全周に起立壁7を連続して形成してあり、中央には管体2を通すための孔6が設けてあり、その孔6の周りに筒状部8を形成してある。また補強体3の平板部分には、放射状に半径方向に延びるリブ9をプレス加工によって形成してある。この補強体3は、一方の分割体4aの開口縁部5a内に嵌め込まれ、起立壁7の外周面を一方の分割体4aの内周面に当接し、開口側を溶接してある。補強体3は、外周の起立壁7と放射状に配設したリブ9によって強度が増しており、これを両分割体4a,4bの溶接接合部の内側に配置することによって、本体1の耐圧性が飛躍的に向上する。また、補強体3の外周に起立壁7を設けておけば、補強体3が本体1の中心軸線に対して傾いて取り付けられることがなく、耐圧性を向上させる効果が最大限に得られるとともに、取り付けの作業性も良好となる。なお、補強体3の筒状部8は管体2に溶接固定する必要はなく、また筒状部8の内周面と管体2の外周面は密着していても良いし隙間が空いていても良い。また、筒状部8が形成してなくても良い。

管体2は、両分割体4a,4bの底部に設けた孔10,10を通り本体1を貫通しており、両端部にラッパ状に湾曲して拡径する拡径部11を形成してあり、その端縁部を分割体4a,4bの孔周縁部外側面に当接して溶接してある。このように形成したことによって、管体2に挿通した漁網のロープは、管体2の両端部において拡径部11の湾曲面に当り、先端や角の部分に当って擦れるということがないため、ロープが切れるおそれが少ない。

本フロートの製作手順を図4に即して述べる。分割体4a,4bと補強体3はそれぞれ所定の形状に成形しておく。管体2は、当初は端部に拡径部11を成形することなく、ストレートの状態で用いる。まず、一方の分割体4aの開口縁部5aに補強体3を嵌め込み、溶接して固定する。次に、一方の分割体4aの開口縁部5aを他方の分割体4bの開口縁部5b内に嵌め込み、溶接して一体化する。次に本体1に管体2を貫通させ、管体2の両端部に拡径治具12,12を差し込んで両側からプレスすることによって、管体2の両端部に拡径部11を形成する。最後に管体2の両側の端縁部を本体1の外側面に溶接する。

本発明は、以上に述べた実施形態に限定されない。補強体3は、起立壁7を設けず単なる板状とすることもできる。材質は、加工の容易性や軽量性、耐食性などを考慮すればアルミニウム合金とするのが適当であるが、ステンレスやチタン合金等の他の金属を用いることもできる。本体の形態は、球形等としても良い。

請求項1記載の発明による金属製フロートは、椀状の二つの分割体の一方の開口縁部を他方の開口縁部に呑み込ませて溶接して中空の本体を構成し、且つ本体の内部に、一方の分割体の開口縁部に周囲を当接して補強体を設けたので、両分割体の接合部分が補強体によって内側から補強され、本体の耐圧性が大きく向上することとなる。またこのように構成したことで、補強体の設置や本体の構成が容易となり、製作のしやすいものになった。

さらに請求項2記載の発明によれば、補強体自体の強度が向上するとともに、補強体が本体の変形を最も効率良く防止できる形で安定して取り付けられることから、耐圧性のさらなる向上が図られる。

In a float used in a severe environment or a large float, even if the ribs are provided and reinforced as described above, the pressure resistance is not sufficient, and the float may be deformed or damaged.
