TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a remote control device for remotely controlling industrial equipment such as a crane by wireless.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a control device for operating a hoist type crane, a wire pendant switch type connected to the end of a cable suspended from the crane has been mainly used. When the operator operates the wired pendant switch type control device, the operator has to move with the crane, so that the operability is not so good. In addition, the cable may hit other objects placed on the floor during the movement of the crane, causing damage, disconnection or short circuit.
[0003]
Therefore, as a means for solving the above problem, a remote control device for remotely operating a hoist type crane by radio has been developed. A receiving device that receives a control signal (radio wave) from the remote control device is mounted near the hoist type crane, and controls the hoist type crane according to the received control signal. Further, the remote control device is employed for controlling not only a hoist type crane but also various industrial devices such as a tower crane.
[0004]
Remote control devices include a weak radio wave type and a specific low power type. The specific low power type remote control device has a transmission output of 10 mW or less, and if there is no obstacle, the communication distance with the receiving device can be several kilometers. In addition, it is excellent in noise resistance and notification. Furthermore, the Enforcement Regulations of the Radio Law stipulate that radio waves that can be continuously transmitted by specific low-power radio equipment for remote control devices should be used so that even if different industrial devices are operated by multiple remote control devices, each device does not malfunction. In addition to allocating 40 channels (frequency), carrier sense is required in order to prevent equipment malfunction due to use of the same channel. Also, the remote control device and the receiving device are provided with a unique call code or call name (hereinafter, referred to as an address) so as to form a pair (to form a pair), and transmit a unique address at the time of transmission. . Note that carrier sensing is a function of detecting whether a frequency channel is being used by another station by detecting the presence or absence of a carrier and detecting an empty channel before transmitting data.
[0005]
The specified low power type remote control device has the above features, so it is used when multiple industrial equipment such as a tower crane must be operated by the remote control device, such as a construction site. Often.
[0006]
The conventional remote control device is set to execute carrier sense first when the power is turned on, and it is possible to set the number of radio channels for carrier sense. For example, in a conventional remote control device, it is possible to set an automatic selection mode within a group in which channels of 40 waves are grouped into a predetermined number of channels, and carrier sense is sequentially performed on channels of an arbitrary group. In the above-described automatic selection mode, when a vacant channel is detected, a setting is made so as to immediately transmit radio waves on that channel. The receiving device is set so that radio waves transmitted from devices other than the remote control device of the pair are regarded as interference waves.
[0007]
In places where the buildings are dense and radio wave conditions are poor, even if the remote control device detects an empty channel in the automatic selection mode and sends a control signal, it will not be possible to use a receiver for equipment installed at a high position such as a tower crane. There was something out of control. This is because, as described above, the communication distance of the specified low-power radio station is several km unless there is an obstruction, so that a radio wave (interfering wave) from a distant remote control device reaches the receiving device, This is because radio waves do not reach the remote control device on the ground side because of the shadow of a dense building.
[0008]
FIG. 7 is a conceptual diagram for explaining operations of a conventional remote control device and a conventional receiving device. As shown in FIG. 7A, a
[0009]
Therefore, as a method for solving the above problem, a remote control device having a manual shift function has been developed (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1). This remote control device can change the channel for starting carrier sense by performing a predetermined operation manually (manually), so that the above problem can be solved.
[0010]
For example, in the above case, a case will be described in which the

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventional remote control devices include a rechargeable battery as a power source. The remote control device has an auto power-off function to reduce battery consumption, and the power is automatically turned off when a predetermined period of time elapses without an operation switch being operated. I was In addition, an operator who attaches great importance to safety frequently turns off the power to prevent a malfunction when not operating the industrial equipment with the remote control device.
[0013]
However, in the conventional remote control device, even if the start channel of the carrier sense is changed using the manual shift function, when a predetermined time (for example, 2 seconds) elapses after the power is turned off, when the power is turned on again, The start channel is reset to the initial state. Therefore, there is a problem that if the radio wave state remains as before, the manual shift function must be set again when the power is turned on and used again.
[0014]
Therefore, the present invention solves the above-described problems, and enables a remote control device that can easily set an unused channel and control the reception device even if the reception device receives an interference wave that cannot be received by the remote control device. The purpose is to provide.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has the following arrangement as means for solving the above-mentioned problems.
[0016]
(1) transmitting means for transmitting an operation signal to a pair of receiving devices using one vacant channel among a plurality of channels;
At power-on, receiving means for performing carrier sense for sequentially receiving the plurality of channels and detecting an empty channel,
Input means for setting a start channel which is a channel for starting carrier sense,
Storage means for storing the start channel set by the input means in a nonvolatile manner even while the power is off;
It is characterized by having.
[0017]
The receiver is receiving the interference of a certain channel, but the remote controller cannot receive the interference, so when performing carrier sense, select the channel of the interference and transmit the control signal. There is. In this case, the remote control device cannot control the receiving device, but if the start channel for starting the carrier sense is changed, an available channel can be selected and this problem can be solved in some cases. Since the remote control device stores the start channel for starting carrier sense even while the power is off, for example, even if the power is turned off by the auto power off function, when the power is turned on again, the carrier sense starts from the changed start channel. Can be started. Therefore, an empty channel can be immediately selected and set at the time of carrier sense.
[0018]
(2) transmitting means for transmitting an operation signal to a paired receiving device using one vacant channel among a plurality of channels;
At power-on, receiving means for performing carrier sense for sequentially receiving the plurality of channels and detecting an empty channel,
Storage means for storing a start channel, which is a channel for starting carrier sense, in a nonvolatile manner even while the power is off;
Input means for inputting a control command;
When the power is turned on, when the power is turned off in a state where no control command is input from the input means, control means for storing another channel in the storage means as the start channel is provided. .
[0019]
The industrial equipment to which the receiving device is connected is usually provided with an indicator light for indicating whether the radio wave from the remote control device is normally received. In other words, after turning on the power and executing the carrier sense to determine the communication channel, if there is no display when this indicator is checked, there is no need to try to control by inputting a control command from the input means of the remote control device. It can also be seen that this channel cannot be controlled, and the power can be turned off. Therefore, by turning off the power without performing any operation after turning on the power, it is possible to easily change the start channel for starting carrier sensing and control the receiving device. In addition, when the operator turns off the power supply with some input from the input means of the remote control device, if the start channel is set not to be changed, whether to change the start channel for starting carrier sense is determined. Can be determined by a simple operation.
[0020]
(3) a display means for displaying a setting state of the start channel;
The control means changes the display contents depending on whether the start channel is the initially set channel or at other times.
[0021]
In this configuration, the operator can easily grasp whether the start channel is the initially set channel or another channel.
[0022]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
First, the outline of the present invention will be described. The remote control device according to the embodiment of the present invention has a manual shift function, and can change a channel (frequency) at which carrier sensing is started. When the start channel is changed by the manual shift function, the start channel is stored in the storage means. Therefore, even if the power is turned off a short while after the power is turned off, the carrier changed from the channel changed before the power was turned off. You can start the sense. Further, the remote control device according to the embodiment of the present invention, when the channel automatic selection mode is set at the time of carrier sense, changes the channel for starting carrier sense to another channel each time the power is turned off and on. Can be set to
[0023]
As a result, the remote control device cannot control the industrial equipment connected to the receiving device on the channel set by performing carrier sense, and after setting the channel by the manual shift function, powers off and on the remote control device. Also in this case, a channel capable of controlling the pair of receiving devices can be immediately selected and set at the time of carrier sense. In addition, when the industrial equipment connected to the receiving device cannot be controlled by the channel set by performing carrier sense, the channel can be changed by turning off and on the power of the remote control device. Can be easily selected and set without setting the manual shift function at the time of carrier sense.
[0024]
Hereinafter, details of the remote control device according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. [0027]
When the power is turned on, the remote control device 1 of the present invention first performs carrier sense and selects a channel used for communication. In addition, the remote control device 1 performs a fixed channel mode in which carrier sensing is performed a plurality of times for one channel, groups 40 channels for each predetermined number of channels, and automatically sequentially performs carrier sensing for an arbitrary group. It is possible to set an automatic selection mode in a group, an automatic selection mode for all channels in which carrier sense is automatically performed sequentially for 40 channels, and the like. For example, when a group including the channels f1 to f5 is set in the in-group automatic selection mode, the remote control device 1 starts from the start channel f1, and then calls f1, f2, f3, f4, f5, f1, f2, and so on. Carrier sense is performed in order. In the automatic selection mode in which carrier sensing is performed on a plurality of channels as described above, when an empty channel is detected, the channel is immediately selected and the carrier is set to be transmitted.

Next, operations of the remote control device and the receiving device of the present invention will be described. As described above, the remote control device according to the embodiment of the present invention has the manual shift function (also referred to as a channel shift operation), and can manually change the start channel for starting carrier sensing. Next, another function of the remote control device of the present invention will be described. When the remote control device 1 of the present invention sets the automatic selection mode in the group or the automatic selection mode for all channels, the channel for starting the carrier sense every time the power is turned off and on without setting the manual shift function. [0069]
As described above, in the remote control device 1, when the power is turned off by operating the power switch 11a without operating the operation switches 11b other than the power switch 11a after the power is turned on, the channel shifted by one channel becomes next. It is stored as a start channel for starting carrier sense when the power is turned on. Therefore, the next time the power is turned on by operating the power switch 11a of the remote control device 1, carrier sensing is started from another channel, which is a channel shifted by one channel. Further, the receiving device can be controlled by easily changing the start channel without setting the manual shift function. Further, if the operator sets so as not to change the start channel when the power is cut off with some input from the operation switch 11b of the remote control device 1, the start channel for starting the carrier sense may be changed. Whether or not it can be determined by a simple operation.
[0070]
In the remote control device 1, even when an operation switch 11b other than the power switch 11a is operated after the power is turned on, for example, the power is turned off after the power switch 11a is pressed down for a predetermined time and then turned on again. When the start-up operation is performed, when the power is turned off, a channel shifted by one channel may be set as a start channel for starting carrier sensing when the power is turned on next. Thus, even when the operation switch 11b is operated, the start channel for starting the carrier sense can be easily changed by turning the power switch 11a off and on. Instead of turning off the power by keeping the power switch 11a pressed down for a predetermined period of time, a reset switch may be provided, and by operating this switch, the start channel for starting carrier sense may be changed.
[0071]
Next, still another function of the remote control device of the present invention will be described. The remote control device 1 of the present invention can be set so that operation can be performed by inputting a password at power-on so that only a specific operator can use the remote control device 1.
[0072]
Some conventional remote control devices include a key switch (key switch), and a remote control device can be operated by inserting a key into a switch unit. However, since the remote control device is cordless, the remote control device may be dropped and may damage the key insertion portion. Further, the operator sometimes loses the key. Therefore, there is a problem that the remote control device cannot be operated. With respect to such a problem, the remote control device 1 of the present invention can perform a normal operation by operating the operation switch 11b and inputting a password without providing a key insertion portion. Can be solved.
[0073]
The remote control device 1 specifically performs the following operation. FIG. 5 is a flowchart for explaining still another function of the remote control device of the present invention. When the power switch 11a is operated by the operator to turn on the power, the

<< Invention described in the embodiment >>
The above-described embodiment discloses the following inventions in addition to the inventions described in the claims.
[0079]
(1) transmitting means for transmitting an operation signal to a paired receiving device using one vacant channel among a plurality of channels;
At power-on, receiving means for performing carrier sense for sequentially receiving the plurality of channels and detecting an empty channel,
Storage means for storing a start channel, which is a channel for starting carrier sense, in a nonvolatile manner even while the power is off;
A control unit for storing another channel in the storage unit as the start channel when a restart operation is performed when the power is turned on.
[0080]
In this configuration, the start channel of the storage unit can be changed by performing a restart operation. Therefore, even when a control command is input from the input unit, the start channel of the carrier sense can be changed without performing a manual operation.
[0081]
(2) In the invention as set forth in any one of claims 1 to 3, and (1), the receiving means starts a carrier sense when a password is input from the input means immediately after power-on. apparatus.

By switching the setting of the remote control device of the present invention, industrial equipment can be operated via a pair of receiving devices as a substitute for the conventional remote control device.
[0085]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
[0086]
(1) Since the remote control device stores the start channel for starting the carrier sense even while the power is off, for example, even if the power is turned off by the auto power off function, when the power is turned on again, the changed start channel is changed.
