TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a control device for an automatic transmission, and more particularly to a shift-by-wire control device that converts a shift range switching operation of a driver into an electric signal, and operates an actuator according to the converted signal to perform a shift operation. is there.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the automatic transmission, when the driver operates a shift selection switch in the vehicle compartment to select a shift range position, a shift operation corresponding to the shift range position is performed. In a conventional automatic transmission, a manual shaft mechanically coupled via a shift selection switch and a cable is operated, and a manual valve linked to the manual shaft is operated, whereby a frictional engagement element of the automatic transmission is operated. Hydraulic pressure control is performed, and thereby a shift operation is performed.
[0003]
In recent years, instead of the above-described mechanical connection of the shift selection switch and the manual shaft by a cable, the actuator is driven by an electric signal according to the driver's operation of the shift selection switch to operate the manual shaft, thereby shifting the gear. A shift-by-wire type shift control to be performed is performed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-5-288267
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In an automatic transmission using this shift-by-wire control, if any trouble (fixed motor, broken gear, etc.) occurs in the actuator that operates the manual shaft, the shift range position (target Even if a signal corresponding to the (range position) is transmitted to the actuator, the control of the manual shaft and the manual valve is not performed correctly. As a result, there is a possibility that the shift range position intended by the driver and the shift range position (actual range position) of the automatic transmission do not match, and the operation of the vehicle not intended by the driver may occur. For example, even if the driver switches the shift selection switch from the forward (D) range to the parking (P) range, the automatic transmission side still remains in the D range, so that the vehicle starts abruptly, or moves from the D range to the reverse (R). ) Even if the range is switched, the automatic transmission side still remains in the D range, so that there is a problem that the vehicle runs in the reverse direction.
[0006]
The present invention is to prevent the above-described problem from occurring in an automatic transmission using shift-by-wire control by appropriately controlling the automatic transmission in response to occurrence of a failure of an actuator that operates a manual shaft. It is an object of the present invention to propose a control device for an automatic transmission that can perform the following.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To this end, a control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention comprises:
It has a plurality of shift range positions corresponding to a plurality of shift ranges of the automatic transmission, and selects one of the plurality of shift range positions as a target range position by a switching operation of a driver, and sets the target range position to Target range position command means for converting into an electric signal and outputting as a target range position signal,
Actual range switching means for performing actual range switching of the automatic transmission according to the target range position signal;
An actual range position detection means for converting the actual range position of the automatic transmission into an electric signal and detecting the electric signal as an actual range position signal;
A shift abnormality determining unit that determines that there is an abnormality when the target range position signal and the actual range position signal are different,
Power transmission path disconnecting means for disconnecting a power transmission path from an output shaft of an engine to a drive wheel via the automatic transmission when the shift abnormality determining means determines that the transmission is abnormal. It is characterized by the following.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
In the control device for the automatic transmission according to the present invention, the actual range position of the automatic transmission is detected and compared with the shift range position (target range position) obtained by operating the shift selection switch by the driver. In this case, it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the automatic transmission, such as a failure of the actuator that operates the manual shaft, and in the event of an abnormality, power transmission that transmits rotation from the engine to the drive wheels through the automatic transmission. The route is cut so that the rotation of the engine is not transmitted to the drive wheels.
[0009]
As a result, when the target range position does not match the actual range position, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the vehicle suddenly starts or moves backward against the driver's intention. Further, when the inconsistency is resolved by the driver's operation of the shift selection switch or the like, the power transmission path is connected again to change the shift range in which the driver's intended shift range matches the shift range on the transmission side. To move the vehicle.
[0010]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, when the hydraulic pressure is supplied to the forward friction engagement element of the automatic transmission, the drive of the automatic transmission is performed as described in
[0011]
That is, when the above-described abnormality occurs in the automatic transmission, the supply of the hydraulic pressure to both the forward friction engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element of the automatic transmission is stopped to neutralize the neutral state. By setting the state, it is possible to prevent the rotation of the engine from being transmitted to the drive wheels without having to newly provide a clutch or the like for disconnecting the power transmission path.
[0012]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, as set forth in claim 3, the hydraulic pressure release unit is configured to connect the hydraulic outlet from the first outlet to the forward friction engagement element, and The execution or stop of the supply of the hydraulic pressure from the two outlets to the reverse friction engagement element may be performed by adjusting the hydraulic pressure.
[0013]
According to this configuration, when the automatic transmission is configured to supply the hydraulic pressure to each of the forward friction engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element by the pressure regulating valve, and when the above-described abnormality occurs, the pressure regulating valve Can be used as a hydraulic pressure releasing means, and there is no need to additionally provide a valve for releasing the hydraulic pressure and cutting off the power transmission path.
[0014]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, as set forth in
[0015]
According to this configuration, even when the above-described abnormality occurs, the driver can operate the shift selection switch to perform the engagement / disengagement operation of the friction engagement element of the automatic transmission again to reconnect the power transmission path. It is possible to move the vehicle.
[0016]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, when the hydraulic pressure is supplied to the forward friction engagement element of the automatic transmission, the drive of the automatic transmission is performed. The direction of power transmission to the wheels is the forward direction, and when hydraulic pressure is supplied to the reverse friction engagement element of the automatic transmission, the direction of power transmission to the drive wheels of the automatic transmission is the reverse direction, and the forward friction When the hydraulic pressure for the fastening operation is not supplied to any of the engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element, forward and reverse switching means for bringing the automatic transmission into a neutral state, and the actual range switching means, Forward and reverse hydraulic control means for supplying hydraulic pressure from the first outlet when the actual range switching means is switched to the forward position and supplying hydraulic pressure from the second outlet when the actual range switching means is switched to the reverse position; The power transmission path disconnecting means is arranged upstream of the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means, and the power transmission path disconnecting means can switch execution or stop of supply of hydraulic pressure to the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means. Hydraulic pressure releasing means, and switching control means for stopping supply of hydraulic pressure to the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means and disconnecting the power transmission path when the shift abnormality determination means determines that the shift is abnormal. It is good.
[0017]
According to such a configuration, when the above-described abnormality occurs in the automatic transmission, the supply of the hydraulic pressure to both the forward friction engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element of the automatic transmission is stopped to neutralize the automatic transmission. The (neutral) state makes it possible to prevent the rotation of the engine from being transmitted to the drive wheels without having to newly provide a clutch or the like for disconnecting the power transmission path. Also, by disposing the hydraulic pressure release means for cutting the power transmission path upstream of the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means, hydraulic control for each of the forward friction engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element can be performed by one hydraulic release. Therefore, it is possible to minimize an increase in vehicle manufacturing cost due to the provision of the present control device.
[0018]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for the automatic transmission according to the present invention, as described in claim 6, the hydraulic pressure release means executes or stops supply of hydraulic pressure to the forward / reverse hydraulic control means. The adjustment may be performed by adjusting the hydraulic pressure.
[0019]
Accordingly, when the automatic transmission is to supply the hydraulic pressure to each of the forward friction engagement element and the reverse friction engagement element by the pressure regulating valve, and when the above-described abnormality occurs, the pressure regulating valve is released. It can also be used as a means, and there is no need to additionally provide a valve for releasing the hydraulic pressure and cutting off the power transmission path.
[0020]
In a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, as set forth in claim 7, the hydraulic pressure releasing means can supply a hydraulic pressure to the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means. A switching position, a second switching position for stopping supply of hydraulic pressure to the forward / reverse hydraulic pressure control means, a third switching position for directly supplying hydraulic pressure to the forward friction engagement element, and the reverse friction engagement element. And a fourth switching position for directly supplying hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic control unit, wherein the switching control unit sets the hydraulic pressure releasing unit to the first switching position when the shift abnormality determination unit does not determine that the shift is abnormal, and sets the target range position to the forward position. When the shift abnormality determining means determines that the shift is abnormal when the gear is in a position other than the forward or reverse position, the hydraulic pressure release means is set to the second switching position. When the abnormality determining means determines that the shift is abnormal, the hydraulic pressure releasing means is set to the third switching position, and when the shift abnormality determining means determines that the shift is abnormal when the target range position is at the reverse position, the hydraulic pressure releasing means is reset. The fourth switching position may be set.
[0021]
With this configuration, even when the above-described abnormality occurs, the driver can operate the shift selection switch to perform the engagement / disengagement operation of the friction engagement element of the automatic transmission again to reconnect the power transmission path. Thus, the vehicle can be moved.
[0022]
Further, in a preferred embodiment of the control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, the power transmission path disconnecting means may be provided between the engine and the automatic transmission. Alternatively, the power transmission path disconnecting means may be provided between the automatic transmission and the drive wheels.
[0023]
According to this configuration, the power transmission path can be effectively cut off when the above-described abnormality occurs, and the target range position by the driver's operation of the shift selection switch matches the actual range position on the automatic transmission side. If not, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the vehicle suddenly starts or moves backward against the driver's intention.

The clutch 406 functions as a power transmission path disconnecting means in the present invention, and disconnects the power transmission path when the abnormality of the automatic transmission as described above, that is, the mismatch between the target range position and the actual range position occurs. This prevents output rotation from the engine or output rotation from the automatic transmission from being transmitted to the drive wheels. That is, the power transmission path cutting means shown in these figures does not cut the power transmission path by opening the friction element of the automatic transmission as in the above-described embodiments, but directly mechanically cuts the power transmission path.
