Abstract

Claims (10)
- ターボファンエンジン(10)の内部表面上への着氷を防止するか又は該内部表面から氷を除去するためのシステムであって、
入口着氷条件に曝されるターボファンエンジン(10)内部の表面を有する、該ターボファンエンジン(10)のブースタ圧縮機と組み合わされたスプリッタ領域(18)と、
前記スプリッタ領域(18)の前縁に沿って成形された樹脂体(26)と、
前記樹脂体(26)の内部に設置されて、着氷条件の間に前記スプリッタ領域(18)上への氷の堆積を防止するか又は該スプリッタ領域(18)から氷を除去する加熱手段(24)と、
を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 複数の電気コイル(24)が、前記スプリッタ領域(18)の形状にほぼ沿うように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記加熱手段(24)が、成形ゴム内に挟持されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記加熱手段(24)が、制御された温度での連続的な加熱をもたらすことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記加熱手段(24)が、制御された温度での間欠的な加熱をもたらすことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- ターボファンエンジン(10)の内部表面上への着氷を防止するか又は該内部表面から氷を除去する方法であって、
入口着氷条件に曝されるターボファンエンジン(10)内部の表面を有する、該ターボファンエンジン(10)のブースタ圧縮機と組み合わされたスプリッタ領域(18)を特定する段階と、
前記スプリッタ領域(18)の前縁に沿って樹脂体(26)を成形する段階と、
前記樹脂体(26)の内部に加熱手段(24)を設置して、着氷条件の間に前記スプリッタ領域(18)上への氷の堆積を防止するか又は該スプリッタ領域(18)から氷を除去する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 加熱手段(24)を設置する前記段階が、複数の電気コイル(24)を設置する段階を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 複数の電気コイル(24)を設置する前記段階が、前記スプリッタ領域(18)の形状にほぼ沿うように該複数の電気コイル(24)を配置する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱手段(24)が、制御された温度での連続的な加熱をもたらすことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱手段(24)が、制御された温度での間欠的な加熱をもたらすことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
