【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、書類や資料を内部に止着された綴じ具により容易に着脱できるようにして保管、保存することができるバインダーやファイル等における書類綴り具の構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
一方の端縁部に穿孔された書類をファイリングする綴り具として、基板と、一対の押さえ板と、一方の押さえ板に固着された綴じパイプと、もう一方の押さえ板に固着された綴じ杆とからなり、前記綴じ杆を前記綴じパイプ内に挿通することにより前記一対の押さえ板の間に穿孔された書類等を収容可能としたものが知られている。このような綴り具では、一方の押さえ板を基板に対し着脱可能とし、もう一方の押さえ板を基板に回動可能に取付けることによって、着脱可能な押さえ板を基板から遊離して綴じ杆と綴じパイプとの挿通状態を解除し書類等の抜き差しが可能となる一方(開放状態)、着脱可能な押さえ板を基板に取付けた状態(閉止状態)では収容した書類等を保持することが可能な構成となっている。

さらに使い勝手を改善したものとして、前記一対の押さえ板を所定の係わり合い手段を用いて基板に対し回動可能かつ着脱可能に取付けることによって、一対の押さえ板の任意の一方を基板に対し着脱可能とする傍ら残る一方を基板に回動可能に保持することが可能であり、それにより使用者の任意の選択によって左右いずれの押さえ板からも書類等の抜き差しが可能な、いわゆる両開きファイルの綴り具が存在する。

このような綴り具の一例として、基板にヒンジ部を介して回動可能に取付けられた左右一対の起立板を有し、当該起立板を前記押さえ板に対し左右方向外側から当てることにより前記起立板と前記押さえ板とを係合可能としたものがある。このような綴じ具においては、左右いずれかの起立板を外側に開き対応する押さえ板との係合状態を解除することによって、その側より書類等の抜き差しが可能である。このようなタイプの綴り具として、例えば特許文献1〜12に開示されるものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上記のような書類綴り具において書類等の保持力を高めるには、前記係合解除抑制手段の付勢力を強めることが有効である。ところが上記書類綴り具においては、基板と押さえ板との関係において回動可能であることと着脱可能であることの2種類の機能を前記係わり合い手段に同時に具備させたことから、着脱可能であることに関する機能である係わり合いの度合いを強める方向に付勢する係合解除抑制手段を設けると、必然的に回動可能であることの機能にもその付勢力が及んでしまう。上記一例においては、起立板を起立方向に付勢することによって、起立板に着脱可能に係合する押さえ板をも付勢してしまい、押さえ板に連設した綴じパイプ若しくは綴じ杆を水平方向に維持しようとする力として働いてしまうのである。すなわち、前記付勢力を強めることによって、使用者が書類等の抜き差しを行おうとする際に左右のうち一方の起立板と押さえ板との係合を解除し押さえ板を回動させようとしても、もう一方の側の係わり合い手段における付勢力によって元に戻ろうとしてしまい、操作性を損なってしまう。この現象は、収容している書類等の量が少ない場合に、書類等の重量によって前記もう一方の側の付勢力が抑えられないぶん、特に顕著である。

従って、上記のような書類綴り具において、書類等を収容した閉止状態ではしっかりと係合を保持しつつも、開放状態では書類等を抜き差しする際の操作性を損なうことのないものの提供が望まれていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明においては、基板と、所定の係わり合い手段を用いて基板に対し回動可能かつ着脱可能に取付けられる左右一対の押さえ板と、前記一対の押さえ板の一方より連設される1又は複数の綴じ杆と、前記一対の押さえ板の他方より連設される前記綴じ杆の本数に対応する綴じパイプとを具備し、前記綴じ杆を前記綴じパイプ内に挿通することにより前記一対の押さえ板の間に穿孔された書類等を収容可能である一方、左右いずれかの押さえ板と基板との係わり合い手段を解除することによって書類等の抜き差しを可能とした書類綴り具において、前記係わり合い手段は、前記押さえ板が前記基板に近接した時にのみ係わり合いの度合を強める方向に付勢する係合解除抑制手段を備えており、かつ前記係合解除抑制手段は、前記基板と押さえ板とが前記係わり合い手段によって取付けられた状態において回動の動作に影響を与えないものとした。このようなものであれば、前記押さえ板が前記基板に近接した時、すなわち前記基板に前記押さえ板を取付けようとしたときにのみ前記係合解除抑制手段が作用するので、前記係合解除抑制手段の付勢力を強めに設定しても一方の押さえ板を開放しようとした際にそれを戻そうとする力が働ないため書類等を抜き差しする際の操作性を損なうことがないと同時に、前記付勢力を強めに設定することにより書類の保持力を増すことが可能である。

より具体的には、前記係わり合い手段は、前記基板にヒンジ部を介して回動可能に取付けられた左右一対の起立板の各々に設けられた第一の係合要素と、前記一対の押さえ板に設けられた第二の係合要素とを含み、前記起立板を前記押さえ板に対し左右方向外側から当てることにより前記第一の係合要素と前記第二の係合要素とが互いに係合可能としたものであり、前記係合解除抑制手段は、前記押さえ板が前記ヒンジ部に近接したときに前記起立板を起立させる方向に付勢するものであれば、前記起立板を単に外側に倒すことにより前記押さえ板との係合を解除することができ、また起立板に操作部を設けることもできるので、さらなる操作性の向上が期待できる。

以下に、本発明に係る好適な実施の形態を、図面を参照しつつ詳述する。

(第一実施例)
本実施例における書類綴り具Bは、第1図に示すように表表紙S1、裏表紙S2及び背表紙S3を有する表紙体Sの背表紙S3の内面側に止着片Pを用いて着脱可能に止着されるものである。

書類綴り具Bは、基板1と、基板1の左右端部に回動可能に取り付けられた一対の起立板2と、前記一対の起立板2と各々係脱可能な一対の押さえ板3と、一方の押さえ板3aに連接される2本の綴じ杆4と、もう一方の押さえ板3bに連接される2本の綴じパイプ5とを大まかな構成要素とする。

基板1は、概略縦長長方形の板であり、左右側縁部は垂直方向に若干起立し、さらにその上端部に軸受け11を断続的に設けている。なお、上下近傍にはそれぞれ左右一対の方形孔12が、さらに上下端縁にはそれぞれ左右一対の凹状切欠き13が設けられているが、これらは止着片Pを嵌め込み基板1を背表紙S3に止着するためのものである。

押さえ板3が起立板2と係合した状態においては、係合突起35は起立板2の係合孔27と係合し、起立板2はフランジ部32の内側に概略ぴったりとはまり込み、自由端側の中央部に設けた凹部34から起立板2の操作部26が露出する。この時、内側支持脚31と外側支持脚32は互いにヒンジ部hの軸Aをまたぐ格好に位置し、起立板2と押さえ板3が一体となって軸Aを支点に回動する。

次に、このような書類綴り具Bを開閉する際の動作について説明する。

使用者が書類等の抜き差しをするためにこの書類綴り具Bを開こうとする場合、まず左右いずれか任意の操作部26を指で外側に押し広げる。すると、押さえ板3と起立板2とが自由端側で離間し、押さえ板の係合突起35と起立板2の係合孔27との係合状態が解除されるとともに、押さえ板3の押さえ片33が第一の巻きばねS1に設けた突出部S12を押さえつけていた状態が失われるので、押さえ板3が起立板2よりも若干上に持ち上がる。

次に、起立板2との係合が解除された押さえ板3を持ち上げる。綴じ杆4及び綴じパイプ5が基板1に対し垂直になるほどに持ち上げると、重心が基板1の外側に移動し、もはや勝手に元に戻ってしまうことはない。

そうしておいて、係合を解除した側の押さえ板3を上方に引き、綴じ杆4を綴じパイプ5から抜き出せば、書類の抜き差しが可能となる。

尚、この状態において、左右反対側の第二の巻きばねS2の付勢力が左右反対側の起立板2を起立させようとする方向、すなわち持ち上げた押さえ板を元に戻そうとする方向に働いてはいるが、前述の通り、第二の巻きばねS2によって付勢される強度は起立板2に負荷を加えない状態で起立板2が水平状態から起立状態に回動する程度に設定されているので、起立板2に押さえ板3が係合し、さらに綴綴じ杆4、綴じパイプ5、左右反対側の押さえ板3、そしてさらには収容した書類等の負荷が加わった状態では、第二の巻きばねS2の付勢力はそれらの重みに負けてしまっているため、押さえ板3を持ち上げた状態を戻す力が働くことによって使用者が書類等の抜き差しする操作を阻害してしまうことはない。

一方、使用者がこの書類綴り具Bを閉止しようとする場合は、上記の動作と逆に操作すればよい。すなわち、まず綴綴じ杆4を対応する綴じパイプ5に挿通し、次に上方に位置する側の押さえ板3を下方に位置するヒンジ部hを中心に回動させつつ下に降ろして押さえ板3の押さえ片33を第一の巻きばねS1に設けた突出部S12に乗せる(図5〜図6参照)。

この状態で、押さえ片33の上部を指で押してやれば、巻きばねS1の突出部S12は下方にたわみ、押さえ片33はさらに下方に移動する。すると、第二の巻きばねS2の付勢力によってすでに押さえ板3に当接している起立板2の係合孔27と押さえ板3の係合突起35とが係合する。この状態で指を離せば第一の巻きばねS1の付勢力により、起立板2は押さえ板3に押しつけられ、また押さえ板3が上方に押し上げられるために起立板2の係合孔27と押さえ板3の係合突起35との係合は摩擦力が増すので、起立板2と押さえ板3とは強固に係合し、閉止の操作が完了する(図7の状態)。
(第二実施例)
本発明に係る他の実施の形態として、上記第一実施例における第二の巻きばねS2を省略したものが挙げられる。

使用者が書類等の抜き差しをするためにこの書類綴り具Bを開こうとする場合、まず左右いずれか任意の操作部26を指で外側に押し広げる。すると、押さえ板3と起立板2とが自由端側で離間し、押さえ板の係合突起35と起立板2の係合孔27との係合状態が解除されるとともに、押さえ板3の押さえ片33が第一の巻きばねS1に設けた突出部S12を押さえつけていた状態が失われるので、押さえ板3が起立板2よりも若干上に持ち上がる。その状態で指を離せば、起立板2はそのまま略水平状態に倒れる(図8参照)。あとは第一実施例と同様に起立板2との係合が解除された押さえ板3を持ち上げ、綴じ杆4を綴じパイプ5から抜き出せば、書類の抜き差しが可能となる。

【発明の効果】
本発明の書類綴り具によれば、前記押さえ板が前記基板に近接した時、すなわち前記基板に前記押さえ板を取付けようとしたときにのみ前記係合解除抑制手段が作用するので、前記係合解除抑制手段の付勢力を強めに設定しても一方の押さえ板を開放しようとした際にそれを戻そうとする力が働ないため、本綴り具を開放状態にし書類等を抜き差しする際の操作性を損なうことがないと同時に、前記付勢力を強めに設定することにより、本綴り具を閉止状態にしたときには書類の保持力を増すことが可能である。
