本発明は、エレベータの呼び操作盤に関し、より詳しくは、視覚障害者および聴覚障害者が容易にボタン操作を行えるように改良された呼び操作盤に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、エレベータの乗りかごおよび乗り場にはそれぞれ呼び操作盤が設けられており、この呼び操作盤の操作ボタンを利用者が押すことにより呼び登録が行われてエレベータの運行が制御されるようになっている。

呼び操作盤の表面には、視覚障害者によるエレベータの利用を容易なものとするために、点字による案内表示が設けられている。
例えば、図9に示したように、乗り場に設けられる呼び操作盤1には上方の階床に向かうための操作ボタン2aと下方の階床に向かうための操作ボタン2bとが設けられているが、これらの操作ボタン2a,2bの近傍には点字による案内表示3a〜3cがそれぞれ設けられている。
同様に、図10に示したように、乗りかご内に設けられる呼び操作盤4には行先の階床を指定するための操作ボタン5とドア開閉用の操作ボタン6a,6bが設けられているが、これらの操作ボタン5,6a,6bの近傍には点字による案内表示7a,7bがそれぞれ設けられている。
これにより、視覚障害者は、呼び操作盤に設けられている各操作ボタンの内容を理解しつつボタン操作を行うことができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
エレベータの呼び操作盤に点字による案内表示を設けることについては、日本エレベータ協会標準集(JEAS−515B:視覚障害者兼用エレベータに関する標準)に規定されている。
ところが、点字による案内表示を操作ボタンに対してどの位置に設けるかについては具体的に規定されていない。

これにより、エレベータの呼び操作盤には、図9および図10に示したように点字による案内表示を各操作ボタンの下方に設けたものに加えて、図11に示したように操作ボタンの側方に設けたものや、図12に示したように操作ボタンの上方に設けたもの等が混在している。
したがって、視覚障害者がエレベータの呼び操作盤をボタン操作する際には、点字による案内表示の内容を理解した後に、その案内表示に対応する操作ボタンがどこにあるのかを手探りで探し出さなければならなかった。

また、乗りかご内の呼び操作盤には多数の操作ボタンが設けられているが、これらの操作ボタンが全体的にどのように配列されているかについては、個々の点字による案内表示から把握することが極めて困難である。
さらに、点字による案内表示を見出すために呼び操作盤に振れている間に、誤って操作ボタンを操作してしまい、所望の行き先とは異なる呼び登録が行われることもあった。

そこで本発明の目的は、上述した従来技術が有する問題点を解消し、視覚障害者および聴覚障害者が容易にボタン操作を行えるように改良されたエレベータの呼び操作盤を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決する請求項1に記載したエレベータの呼び操作盤は、
点字による案内表示をその表面に有した複数の点字銘板と、
前記点字銘板にエレベータ利用者が接触したことを検出する、前記点字銘板にそれぞれ設けられた接触検出手段と、
前記接触検出手段から得られた検出信号に基づいてエレベータ利用者がどの点字銘板に接触したかを識別する識別手段と、
前記識別手段により識別された点字銘板に対応する操作ボタンがその点字銘板に対してどの位置にあるかを案内放送する案内放送手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする。

また、視覚障害に加えて聴覚障害をも有するエレベータ利用者は、放送案内を聴くことができないが、案内手段の助けにより操作ボタンを探し出すことができる。
なお、空気噴流若しくは赤外線を用いて視覚障害者の指先を案内する場合は、視覚障害者が呼び操作盤の表面に常に触れている必要がないから、視覚障害者が目的外の操作ボタンを誤って操作してしまうことを確実に防止できる。

また、表示部11のすぐ下側と基板10の最下端部には、次述する操作ボタン31〜38の配置を案内するための点字銘板12a〜12dが配設されている。
さらに、基板10の中央部には、行先階を指定(呼び登録)するための階床指定ボタン31〜36およびドアを開閉するためのドア開閉ボタン37,38をそれぞれ収納するための収納凹部21〜28がそれぞれ配設されている。
