Abstract

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は広告情報の提供システムであって、有料テレビ放送番組にＣＭ（Ｃｏｍｍｅｒｃｉａｌ　Ｍｅｓｓａｇｅ）を挿入し、ＣＭを視聴した契約ユーザに対しＣＭ視聴料を支払うことにより契約ユーザの有料放送視聴に係わる金銭負担を軽減する広告情報提供システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
テレビジョン放送とは独立して放送されるＣＭ（Ｃｏｍｍｅｒｃｉａｌ　Ｍｅｓｓａｇｅ）をＴＶ放送の途中に置換又は挿入して視聴者に視聴させる技術がある（例えば、特許文献１）。

また、放送プログラム（テレビ放送番組）中に広告を挿入して放送するデジタル放送における広告提供方法であって、受信した放送プログラム中の広告と予め記憶してある複数の広告とのなかから視聴者に適していると推定される広告を自動的に選択し、予め記憶してある広告を選択した場合は受信した広告を選択した広告で置換して選択した広告を出力するようにした技術がある（例えば、特許文献２）。

また、受信料を必要とするテレビ放送についてそのテレビ放送番組にＣＭを挿入した放送の受信を行うことを条件にＣＭ付番組送信装置の運営者が受信者の受信料を肩代わりする受信料支払代行システムが提案されている（例えば、未公開特許文献１）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
公共放送局、例えば日本放送協会はテレビジョン（以下、テレビ）受信装置の所有者と契約し、徴収した受信料を収入源として運営がなされている。つまり、公共放送局のテレビ放送番組は有料テレビ放送番組である。

これに対し、民間テレビ放送局各社はそのほとんどが他社企業からの番組提供料や広告料を収入源として運営しており、視聴者は番組の間に挿入されるＣＭを見る代わりに民間テレビ放送局に受信料を支払う必要がない。

ここで、公共放送局のような有料テレビ放送局の受信料の負担を実質的に軽減できれば有料テレビ放送局のテレビ放送番組の視聴率の向上が期待できる。

しかしながら、上記特許文献１には、テレビジョン放送とは独立して放送されるＣＭをテレビ放送の途中に置換又は挿入する技術及び番組の放送信号とＣＭのＡＶ信号を判別する機能を有する受信装置を無料又は格安で視聴者に供与するようなサービスが実現可能であることは開示されているが、公共放送局のような有料テレビ放送番組の視聴者の受信料にかかわる経済的負担を軽減する方法については開示されていない。

また、特許文献２にはテレビ放送番組に挿入されている広告と予め記憶してある複数の広告を自動選択して再生可能とする技術およびこの技術により視聴者に適した広告を提供し、広告の効果をあげ得ることが開示されているが、上記特許文献１と同様に、公共放送局のような有料テレビ放送番組の視聴者の受信料にかかわる経済的負担を軽減する方法については開示されていない。

一方、上記未公開特許文献１に記載の発明によれば公共放送のように受信料を必要とする有料テレビ放送についてそのテレビ放送番組にＣＭを挿入した放送の受信を行うことを条件に受信者の受信料を肩代わりするのでＣＭ付番組送信装置の運営者と受信契約を行った有料テレビ放送の視聴者は経済的負担なしに公共放送を視聴することができる。

しかしながら、上記未公開特許文献１に記載の発明では受信契約を行った有料テレビ放送の視聴者によるＣＭ付番組の視聴頻度に拘わらず受信者の受信料を肩代わりするので、ＣＭ付番組の視聴頻度が少ない場合にも受信料を肩代わりするといった不都合が生じる可能性があった。

本発明は、公共放送局のような有料テレビ放送局のテレビ放送を視聴したテレビ受信装置の受信料に係わる金銭的負担をＣＭの視聴度合いに応じて軽減し得る広告情報提供システム及び広告情報提供方法の提供を目的とする。

［第１の実施の形態］
図１は本発明の広告情報提供システムの構成例を示す図であり、広告提供システム１００は、テレビ放送番組の契約ユーザ１と、専用受信機９と接続するテレビ受信装置２と、公共放送局４と、ＣＭ提供会社７と、公共放送局４のテレビ放送番組にＣＭ提供会社から送信されるＣＭを受信する専用受信機９と、ＣＭ提供会社７に自社ＣＭの放映を委託した企業１２−１、１２−２、１２−３、・・・（以下、企業１２）と、からなる。
