従来の地区エリアポーリング方式では、基地局が移動局の最新の動態・位置情報を得るために、基地局から一定範囲内に存在する移動局のデータを収集する地区エリアポーリングを行なう場合、基地局から全移動局に対し、一定範囲エリア情報として、緯度・経度の範囲情報を設定し、送信していた。

これを受信した移動局は、把握している自局の現在位置の緯度・経度情報と比較して、自局が一定範囲エリア内に所在しているか否かの判断処理を行ない、一定範囲エリア内に所在すると判断した場合には、基地局へ自局の動態・位置情報をランダムタイミングで送信していた。

従来の技術では、基地局で必要とする一定範囲の地区エリア内に多数の移動局が存在した場合に、移動局が送信する動態・位置情報の無線データが衝突する可能性が大きくなり、衝突が多く発生した場合、移動局の情報が正確に得られない問題点が有った。

本発明は、上記の目的を達成するために、基地局から一定範囲の緯度・経度情報の他に、一定範囲の中心点情報を付加し、移動局にて該中心点情報からの自車位置までの距離を算出処理を行ない、動態・位置情報を無線データで送信するタイミングを制御することにより、無線データ上の衝突を減少させ、基地局での移動局情報をより正確に表示できるようにしたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図1〜図3を参照して説明する。図1に示すように、移動局は、位置検出装置1、処理装置2、無線機3で構成され、基地局は、無線機4、信号処理装置5、表示装置6で構成される。

以下、本発明の一実施例の動作について説明する。基地局は、表示装置6において、図3の如く、移動局が所在する所要の一定範囲13を表示中の地図画面11上で設定する。次に、信号処理装置5において、緯度・経度の範囲データに変換した後、無線機4を経由して各移動局に対して、図2の地区エリアポーリングデータ9を送信する。
