Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a roll support member for wrapping a roll-shaped recording material together with a cushioning material in a storage box, and further relates to a recording material package using the roll support member.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a roll-shaped recording material is often stored and transported as a package supported by a roll support member and housed in a storage container in a suspended state. In the case of a photosensitive recording material, the recording material is covered with a light-shielding flange and a light-shielding reader to completely shield the light, and then stored in a storage container. Regardless of whether it is photosensitive or non-photosensitive, the roll support member for fixing the roll-shaped recording material to the buffer material in the storage box suspended in the buffer material has a flange portion at one end of the cylindrical shaft. The cylindrical shaft of the roll support member is inserted through the hole of the buffer material into both ends of the wound core, and the rolled recording material is suspended in the storage box. I support it.
However, the structure having the flange portion at the end of the cylindrical shaft has a problem that it is vulnerable to an impact received when the storage container is dropped. Therefore, a molded product made of a relatively thick thermoplastic resin resistant to deformation such as polyethylene has been used as a material for the roll support member. However, a thick molded product has drawbacks such as a large amount of material used and a long cooling time during molding. Further, since the recording material and the cushioning material are in direct contact with each other, when the cushioning material is made of corrugated cardboard, there is a problem that paper dust is generated from the cushioning material due to vibration during transportation.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a roll support member which is a thin molded article and has a structure resistant to impact. Moreover, it is providing the roll support member which can prevent paper dust generation | occurrence | production from a buffer material.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The problems of the present invention have been solved by the methods described in the following (1) and (2).
(1) A roll support member used together with a cushioning material for suspending a roll-shaped recording material wound around a winding core in a packaging box, and a fitting portion that fits into one end of the winding core, the winding core and the cushioning material A roll support member, in which a flange portion that separates and a through portion that penetrates a hole portion provided in the cushioning material are integrally formed in this order.
(2) A recording material package in which a roll-shaped recording material is supported and stored in a storage container by the roll support member and the cushioning material according to (1).
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view in which a roll-shaped recording material package is stored in a storage container. Examples of the roll-shaped recording material include photosensitive and non-photosensitive recording materials used for recording images and documents, such as a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material, a heat-developable light-sensitive material or its image-receiving paper, and heat-sensitive paper. The roll-shaped recording material package is supported by the cushioning material 8 and stored in a suspended state in the storage container 12, and is used for transportation and storage. As for the roll support member 4, the insertion part 6, the flange part 5, and the penetration part 7 are integrally molded in this order. At the time of storage, the central hole of the light shielding flange 2 attached to the opening hole provided at one end of the winding core wound with the long recording material or the both ends of the recording material roll wound around the winding core. 3, the insertion portion 6 is inserted, the through-hole portion 7 of the roll-shaped support member is inserted into the hole portion 9 of the cushioning material 8, and these are integrated and stored in the storage container 12 to obtain a recording material package. it can.
The material of the storage container 12 is arbitrary, and an example thereof is a cardboard box.
[0006]
The cushioning material 8 is a member for suspending the recording material roll in the storage box, and the material thereof is arbitrary as long as it has a required strength. An example of the cushioning material is a substantially square cushioning material made of cardboard. Specifically, each of the corrugated sheets 10 is composed of two corrugated sheets, and the cores 10 of the two corrugated sheets extend in a diagonal direction, and are superposed so that the cores of the two corrugated boards are orthogonal to each other. Can be mentioned. As an example of the cushioning material, as shown in FIG. 1, a corrugated sheet is formed by folding a corrugated sheet at a folding line 11 so that the core 10 of the corrugated board is perpendicular to each other, or a core 10. May be formed by superimposing two corrugated cardboard sheets extending in a diagonal direction so that the cores 10 of the corrugated cardboard sheets are orthogonal to each other. When the cushioning material 8 is formed from one corrugated cardboard sheet, it is preferable that the folding line 11 of the corrugated cardboard sheet is cut (half cut) to the center to facilitate folding of the corrugated cardboard sheet (FIG. 1). .
[0007]
FIG. 2 is a sectional view schematically showing the roll support member of the present invention. The roll support member has a flange portion 5 between the fitting portion 6 and the penetrating portion 7. The insertion portion 6 is inserted into a hole provided at the center of both ends of the roll-shaped recording material and supports the roll. The flange portion 5 prevents the occurrence of paper dust by preventing direct contact between the recording material roll and the paper cushioning material. The penetrating portion 7 passes through the hole provided in the cushioning material, and holds the recording material packaging body 1 and the roll support member 4 in a suspended manner in the storage container 12.
The shape of the fitting portion 6 is preferably a hollow cylinder. The tip may be directly inserted into the recording material core or indirectly into the central hole 3 of the light shielding flange inserted into the recording material core. The tip of the fitting portion 6 is preferably rounded to make it easier to insert into the core or the central hole 3. The length of the fitting portion 6 is preferably shorter than the depth of the central hole 3 of the light shielding flange, and the outer diameter of the fitting portion 6 is preferably slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the central hole 3 of the light shielding flange. If the gap (clearance) generated during this period is too small, it is difficult to assemble the package. Conversely, if the gap is too large, the roll support member 4 is easily detached from the recording material roll when the roll-shaped recording material is taken out of the storage box. It is not preferable.
[0008]
The flange portion 5 is a bulge projecting outward around the entire circumference of the cylindrical roll support member, and as its shape, a circumferential shape sandwiched by concentric circles is typical, but the outer circumference is elliptical or polygonal Etc. Among these, the outer periphery of the flange is preferably a circular shape centering on a common central axis of the cylindrical insertion portion 6 and the through portion 7. The outer diameter of the flange portion 5 preferably has a size necessary for reliably separating the recording material roll and the buffer material. If the diameter of the outer periphery of the flange portion 5 is too small, the flange portion 5 is buried in the core or the light shielding flange 2 or passes through the hole portion 9 provided in the cushioning material 8, so that the original function of the flange portion cannot be exhibited. Accordingly, the outer diameter of the flange portion 5 needs to be larger than the diameter of the hole portion 9 of the buffer material and the diameter of the central hole 3 of the winding core or the light shielding flange, and smaller than the perpendicular length of the buffer material 8. However, in order to reduce the bending stress applied to the flange of the roll support member when the storage box is dropped, it is preferable that the outer diameter is not so large. Specifically, the length obtained by subtracting the diameter of the cylindrical portion of the light shielding flange 2 from the outer diameter of the flange portion 5, that is, the protruding length (width) of the flange portion is 2 to 5 times the thickness of the flange portion 5. It is preferable. The thickness of the flange 5 is sufficient to separate the cushioning material 8 from the recording material package 1 and may be a thickness that can withstand a drop impact when the storage box is dropped. For example, the width of the flange portion 5 in the case of supporting a film having a diameter of the central hole 3 of the winding core or the light shielding flange of 50 mm is preferably 1 to 10 mm, and more preferably 2 to 5 mm.
[0009]
The shape of the penetrating portion 7 is preferably a hollow cylinder. The length of the penetrating portion 7 is preferably slightly larger than the thickness of the buffer material 8, and may be the same as the thickness of the buffer material 8. It is preferable that the outer diameter of the penetrating portion 7 is slightly smaller than the diameter of the hole 9 of the buffer material.
The outer diameter of the fitting part 6 and the penetration part 7 may be the same, but may differ. FIG. 2E shows an example in which the outer diameter of the penetrating portion is larger than the outer diameter of the fitting portion.
Although it is preferable that the center axis of the fitting part 6, the center axis of the penetration part 7, and the center of the flange part 5 are on the same straight line, it does not exclude being on a different straight line. The central axis is preferably the same from the viewpoint of ease of injection molding and resistance to impact.
[0010]
You may seal the edge part of the insertion part 6 of the roll support member 4 (FIG. 2B). The place of sealing can be inside the fitting part, the flange part, and the penetration part, but when it is provided slightly on the fitting part side as shown in FIG. 2D, the impact resistance is improved. Further, since the flange portion receives a strong shearing force when dropped, an inward flange that thickens the inner side of the shaft of the flange portion may be provided to reinforce (FIGS. 2C and 2D).
[0011]
The material of the roll support member of the present invention is not particularly limited, but a thermoplastic resin, biodegradable resin, paper having a paper component of 51% by mass or more and a mixture of 49% by mass or less of the thermoplastic resin (in the present invention, “paper Resin ”), wood, and the like can be used.
The paper resin is a mixture of paper and resin, and the paper resin is a composition in which a paper component such as waste paper is mixed at a ratio of 51% or more and a resin component is 49% or less in a mass ratio, similar to paper. Therefore, it is preferable as a material for the roll-shaped support member, and can also be used for a winding core or a cushioning material. In this case, since the molded article made of paper resin can be discarded in the same manner as the paper component of the packaging material, separation at the time of disposal becomes unnecessary. The paper resin used for the roll support member of the present invention is preferably one in which the paper component is mixed at 51 to 70 mass% and the resin component is mixed at 49 to 30 mass%. If the paper component is less than 51% by mass, it cannot be discarded as paper. When the thermoplastic resin component is less than 30% by mass, the strength of the paper resin is insufficient. Examples of the resin component include polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene; biodegradable resins such as polylactic acid.
[0012]
As the thermoplastic resin, it is preferable to use a thermoplastic resin having a Charpy impact strength of 6.0 KJ / m 2 or more, or a tensile fracture nominal strain of 200% or more. Examples of the thermoplastic resin that can be used in the roll support member of the present invention include polypropylene, high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, and linear low density polyethylene. Typical examples of commercially available products of these thermoplastic resins are shown below.

FIG. 3 shows a roll end sectional view of an example of a roll-shaped recording material using the roll support member of the present invention, and FIG. 4 shows a roll end sectional view of an example of a roll-shaped recording material using a conventional roll support member.
The strongest destructive force that the roll support member receives when the roll-shaped recording material package is dropped is the bending moment at the base of the flange portion. Compared to a conventional roll support member having a flange portion at one end of a cylindrical shaft, the roll support member of the present invention has a smaller outer diameter of the flange portion, and the flange portion is located between the fitting portion and the through portion. Therefore, the bending moment received by the flange when dropping is less than half that of the prior art. For this reason, it is possible to obtain a roll support member that is difficult to break with a small amount of material.

Examples will be given below, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
(Example 1)
A roll support member having a common center axis of the insertion portion and the penetrating portion and passing through the center of the circular flange portion was manufactured using paper resin.
The paper resin used was a mixture of 68% by mass of photographic printing paper and a total of 32% by mass of polypropylene resin and additives. As the polypropylene, BC4L manufactured by Nippon Polychem Co., Ltd. was used.
The size of each part was as follows.
Insertion part: length 17mm, outer diameter 50mm
Penetration part: Length 14mm, outer diameter 50mm
Flange: outer diameter 60mm, thickness 1.5mm
(Comparative Example 1)
A roll support member having a circular flange portion at one end of the cylindrical shaft was produced in the following size using the same paper resin as in Example 1.
Insertion part: length 31mm, outer diameter 50mm
Flange: Outer diameter 90mm, thickness 1.5mm
[0016]
Using the roll support member produced in Example 1 and Comparative Example 1, the photothermographic material having a diameter of 15 cm and a width of 32 cm packaged as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 was packaged as shown in FIGS. . A light shielding flange having a central hole diameter of 50 mm was used. The shock-absorbing material was made of double-layered cardboard and had a total thickness of 17 mm. The package was subjected to a drop test, and the strength of the roll support member was confirmed.
(Drop test method and results)
After the recording material package was dropped from a location with a height of 400 mm, the roll support member was inspected for damage.
The packaging body of Example 1 was more resistant to dropping impact than the packaging body of Comparative Example 1, and sufficient strength was obtained even with a roll support member made of paper resin. Furthermore, the weight of the roll support member of Example 1 was about ½ that of Comparative Example 1, and the cooling time when the roll support member was injection molded could be shortened. In addition, costs such as material costs, molding costs, and transportation costs could be reduced.
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a roll support member that is resistant to a drop impact, is thin, and prevents the generation of paper dust from a cushioning material.
