本発明は、建枠の建材に着脱自在に取付けられる手摺保持用の手摺支柱の手摺取付装置の改良およびこの手摺取付装置を備えた手摺支柱に関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に建物の建設現場、土木工事の現場では足場装置または支保工として利用される枠組足場が設置されている。この枠組足場は、たとえば、特開平7−279402号公報に示すように、多数の足場枠を下方から上方に段組し、各足場枠に手摺を先行手摺として順次下方から上方に組付けるものである。

しかし、この手摺は縦方向に縦杆と、水平方向の手摺杆および横杆が一体化されているため、この手摺を先行手摺として下方の足場板状で組付けるには重量が重く搬送や、着脱作業が困難である。

そこで、本発明者は縦杆と手摺杆とを分離し、足場枠の段組に応じて先行手摺として縦杆と手摺杆とを独立して組付ける手摺の取り付け装置を開発し、特許出願している(特願2001−163884号)。

この手摺の取付装置は図10に示すように取り付け手段A、Bを介して足場枠に取付けられる左右一対の手摺支柱55と、手摺支柱55、55間に取り付け手段Cを介して取付けられる手摺66とからなり、取付手段Cは、手摺支柱55に設けた係止部76と手摺66の端部に形成した正面ややT字状の取付孔75とからなるものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記新たに開発した手摺の取付装置では機能上、特に問題があるわけではないが、以下のような不具合の改善が望まれた。

すなわち、手摺66を手摺支柱55に結合する際には手摺支柱55と手摺66とを一本づつ順番に取付けていくから問題は無いが、足場枠と手摺とを多数に段組した後には左右の手摺支柱55、55間の距離を調整できず、たとえば、枠組足場の中間で作業をするような場合、中間に設置された手摺55が邪魔になる場合が生じ、この手摺55をはずしたい場合がある。

しかし、一度設置された中間の手摺は上記手摺支柱55、55間の距離に規制され、手摺55を左右方向にずらすことができず、結果として手摺66を取り外すことができない。

また、取付手段Cをボルトとナット、ピンまたはグラビティロック等の従来から知られている取付装置を利用すれば、このような不具合を解消できるが、逆にこのような取付具は手摺支柱55等から独立しているための単独で落下したり、搬送中に紛失したり、あるいは長期間の使用中に錆付いてしまう恐れがあり、さらに、着脱時に手を伸ばして作業するため、操作性も悪いという不具合がある。

そこで、本発明の目的は一度多段に段組した枠組足場の中間においても任意に手摺をはずすことができ、部品の落下、紛失や、錆つきによる作動不良を防止でき、手摺の着脱作業も容易な手摺取付装置および手摺支柱を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するための第1の手段として、本発明の手摺取付装置は、建枠の建材に着脱自在に取付けられる手摺支柱に、手摺を直行する方向に取り付ける手摺取付装置において、手摺支柱に直径方向に向けて回転自在に挿入される棒状本体と、棒状本体の先端に設けた手摺係止用の係止部と、棒状本体の基端側に設けた操作桿とで構成され、係止部を、手摺側に設けた孔に符合もしくは挿入可能であって、操作桿の自重または回転操作で棒状本体が回転したとき上記孔と係着可能な形状としたことを特徴とする。

上記構成としたから、手摺に設けた孔に係止部を挿入し、棒状本体を回転させるだけで、手摺を係止することが可能であるので、簡易に手摺を手摺支柱に固定することが可能であるとともに、棒状本体を回転させるのに操作桿を操作または操作桿自体の自重を利用すれば良いので、その操作も簡単である。

上述した、第4の課題解決手段と同様の作用効果を実現できることは無論のこととして、プレートに切欠を設けたので、建材に手摺支柱を取付ける際、建材に取付けられた種々の部材が、切欠内を通過させることが可能であるので、種々の部材が邪魔になることはない。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態は、図1ないし図2に示す第1の実施の形態と、図4に示す第2の実施の形態がある。第1の実施の形態における手摺取付装置Tは、図1に示すように、手摺支柱Rに手摺支柱Rの直径方向に向けて回転自在に挿入される棒状本体2と、棒状本体2の先端に設けた手摺係止用の係止部1と、棒状本体2の基端側にピン5で結合した操作桿Sとで構成され、また、図1(C)は手摺取付装置Tの正面図であるが、係止部1は、手摺取付装置Tを正面から見て、長円形をしており、その長手方向の長さは、後述する手摺15の孔16の上下方向の長さより長く設定されている。なお、操作桿Sと棒状本体2との結合には、ピン5による結合以外の他の慣用手段を用いても良い。

そして、この手摺取付装置Tは、たとえば、図4に示すように、手摺支柱Rの支柱本体31の上方に取付けられ使用される。

一方、手摺15側に設けた孔16は、図2に示すように、正面から見て全体がややT字状の形状をしており、これは中央の貫通孔部11aの両側壁を切欠いて連接した一対の貫通溝11bとで構成されている。そして、上記貫通孔部11aの縦溝の内径L1と対角線方向の寸法は係止部1の長手方向の長さより長く形成され、上記貫通溝11bの巾寸法L2は棒状本体2の外径より長く、かつ、係止部1の長手方向の長さより短く成形されている。

これにより、貫通溝11b内に棒状本体2を嵌合させながら係止部1を90度回転させると係止部1が貫通溝11bと符合し孔16から抜けなくなる。

さらに、手摺15の孔16が、上記のような形状であるので、図3に示すように、係止部1の長手方向の軸線が手摺支柱Rの軸線に対し並行な状態にあっても、手摺15を手摺支柱Rに対し斜めにして、孔16に係止部1を挿入可能となっている。

操作桿Sは、図1(A)、(B)および(C)に示すように、上記棒状本体2に対し垂直に、かつ、手摺支柱Rの軸線に対し並行に取付けられる操作部3と、操作部3の先端に設けた手摺支柱Rに引っ掛かる引掛部4とを有してなり、当該引掛部4が手摺支柱Rに引っ掛かった状態で、上記係止部1の長円形長手方向の軸線が手摺支柱Rに対し並行となるように設定されている。引掛部4は、本実施の形態では手摺支柱Rが円筒状であるので、半円形状とされているが、手摺支柱Rの形状に合わせて形成するようにすれば良い。

つづいて、その作用について説明すると、図2に示すように、先ず操作桿Sを手摺支柱Rに対し90度図中において反時計回り方向に向って、回転させる。すると、操作桿Sは、棒状本体2に連結されているので、棒状本体2も手摺支柱R内で90度図中反時計回り方向に回転する。さらに、係止部1は、棒状本体2の先端に設けられているので、係止部1も90度図中右方向に回転し、係止部1を水平に保持する。この状態で孔16内に係止部1を貫通させながら挿入し、棒状本体2を右方の貫通溝11bに嵌入し、ついで、操作桿Sを上記とは逆に時計回り方向に90度回転させる。

このとき、手摺支柱Rと操作桿Sとが並行な状態となり、係止部1の長手方向の軸線が手摺支柱Rと並行となる。加えて、操作桿Sの引掛部4が手摺支柱Rに引っ掛かる。したがって、この引掛部4が手摺支柱Rに引っ掛かるので、手摺支柱や手摺に振動等が負荷されても、操作桿のふらつきが防止されるので、一層安定的に手摺の固定状態を維持することが可能である。このとき、操作桿Sを操作して、操作桿Sを手摺支柱Rの軸線に対し並行となる位置、すなわち、元の位置に戻しても良いが、操作桿Sをわざわざ元の位置に戻さずとも、操作桿S自体の重みで自動的に、操作桿Sが手摺支柱Rと並行な状態に戻る。なお、上述の効果は失われるが、引掛部4を設けなくとも、使用可能である。

すると、係止部1の長手方向の長さは、手摺15の孔16における貫通溝11bの上下の巾寸法L2より長いので、係止部1が孔16から抜けなくなり、手摺15が手摺取付装置Tから抜けなくなる。すなわち、手摺15を固定することができ、かつ、孔16には、棒状本体2が挿入されている状態であるから、手摺15に振動や力を負荷しても、手摺支柱から脱落してしまうことは無い。

さらに、手摺15の孔16が、上記のような形状であるので、すなわち、中央に対角線方向の寸法が係止部1の長手方向の長さより大きい貫通孔部11aを備えているので、図3に示すように、係止部1の長手方向の軸線が手摺支柱Rに並行な状態にあっても、手摺15を手摺支柱Rに対し斜めにして、孔16に係止部1を挿入可能となっている。このように、手摺15を手摺支柱Rに対し斜めにして、手摺15を手摺支柱Rに取り付け可能であるので、図5に示すように、1つの手摺支柱Rを建材30に固定して、手摺15の一端を上記のようにして取付けた後、別の手摺支柱Rに手摺15の他端を固定してから、当該手摺支柱Rを建材30に取付けることが可能となり、建材に架設した足場板A上の作業員が、その足場板Aより階上の手摺支柱に手摺を取付けることが可能であるので、作業員の安全性が向上する。

なお、係止部の形状と手摺の孔の形状は、上述したものに限られず、手摺を手摺支柱に対し斜めにして取付けることを考慮しなければ、たとえば、係止部と手摺の孔の形状を矩形、楕円形、三角形や平行四辺形としても良く、また、本実施の形態では図1のように係止部の図中ほぼ中心に棒状本体を結合させているが、係止部の図中ほぼ中心以外に棒状本体を結合してもよい。
