TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a paper sludge processing method and a processing facility for processing paper sludge generated in a paper manufacturing process so as to be reusable, particularly as a papermaking pigment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As described above, papermaking sludge generated in the papermaking process is conventionally sintered after dehydration and landfilled, or partially used for cement raw materials, carbides, and the like.In recent years, for example, As described in JP-A-2001-26727, a white pigment for papermaking is obtained by subjecting papermaking sludge to oxidation treatment by burning or the like, preferably in multiple stages, and then pulverizing to a predetermined particle size, preferably also in multiple stages. It has been proposed to reuse it. That is, in such a treatment method, calcium carbonate contained in papermaking sludge is collected without excessively decomposing into calcium oxide by multi-stage oxidation treatment by appropriately controlling the temperature, for example, by combustion, and this is finely pulverized. To reuse as white pigment for papermaking.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when treating papermaking sludge in this way, if the papermaking sludge in the form of slurry or its dewatered cake is directly supplied to a combustion furnace or an incinerator and heated and burned to oxidize the papermaking sludge, the supplied papermaking sludge is burned. Is inevitable to be partially non-uniform, for example, in a portion where the combustion of the sludge surface is promoted, calcium carbonate is decomposed and calcium oxide is generated despite the temperature control as described above, and the pigment When used as, there is a possibility that desired whiteness or the like may not be obtained. In addition, due to such non-uniform combustion, the recovered calcium carbonate and calcium hydroxide partially melt and solidify to have a high hardness, and even when pulverized in a subsequent pulverization process, as a papermaking pigment. If it is used, the wire of the paper machine is worn and the cutter is severely degraded at the time of cutting, which may lead to an increase in equipment maintenance cost and a decrease in production efficiency.
[0004]
The present invention has been made under such a background. When the papermaking sludge generated in the papermaking process is reused as a pigment for papermaking or the like, the present invention makes it possible to uniformly burn the sludge and thereby reduce the carbonation. It is an object of the present invention to provide a papermaking sludge treatment method and treatment equipment capable of suppressing the decomposition of calcium and the like and efficiently recovering the same.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve such an object, a method for treating papermaking sludge of the present invention comprises forming a papermaking sludge into a granulated material having a uniform particle size by a granulator, The papermaking sludge processing equipment according to the present invention is characterized in that the papermaking sludge processing equipment is characterized in that the papermaking sludge is formed into a granulated product having a uniform grain size, and a granulating machine. It is characterized in that it comprises a firing furnace for holding the granules and firing and processing with hot air. Therefore, in such a processing method and processing equipment, since the papermaking sludge is first formed into a uniform granulated material by a granulator, the granulated material of the papermaking sludge is held in a firing furnace. Appropriate gaps can be secured between adjacent granules, and the gaps are passed through hot air whose temperature is controlled (controlled) so that the papermaking sludge is heated and baked, ie, burned, and oxidized. Since the paper sludge is to be treated, the retained papermaking sludge can be uniformly and uniformly heated and fired, and calcium carbonate can be partially prevented from being excessively decomposed or solidified. In addition, since the granules of the papermaking sludge are heated and baked by the hot air without being directly exposed to the flame, the calcination temperature is relatively easy to control, and the decomposition of calcium carbonate is more reliably performed. Thus, the collection efficiency can be improved.
[0006]
Here, in the treatment method, the granulated material is formed and granulated to a water content of 50 to 60 wt% and an average particle size of 5 to 20 mm, and the granulated product is heated at a firing temperature of 700 to 850 ° C. It is desirable to hold and bake for up to 3 hours. That is, if the water content of the granulated material is larger than the above range, the granulated material is likely to collapse and it may be difficult to secure the gap, but it is often necessary to dewater the papermaking sludge until the water content is below the range. It takes a lot of time and effort. In addition, while the average particle size of the granules may be smaller than the above range, the gap between the granules may be reduced, while the average particle size is larger than the above range in each of the granules. There is a risk that the firing will be non-uniform. In addition, it is easy to shape | mold and granulate a granulated material in a column shape, and in that case, it is desirable that it is 6-10 mm in diameter and about 10-20 mm in length. Further, if the firing temperature or the holding time in the firing furnace is lower or shorter than the above range, the organic matter in the papermaking sludge may not be completely burned and may not be sufficiently removed. If the time is higher or longer than the above range, calcium carbonate is decomposed and calcium oxide is generated, and the recovery efficiency of calcium carbonate is impaired, and the calcium oxide melts and crystallizes with other inorganic substances. By doing so, there is a possibility that a fired product having high hardness may be obtained.
[0007]
Further, in the processing equipment, the firing furnace is rotatable around a central axis on which a cylindrical main body to which the granulated material is supplied is horizontally placed, and the hot air is blown into the main body. It is desirable that the internal heat kiln be made possible, and by rotating the main body in this way, the granules of the papermaking sludge held inside are also blown into the main body while rolling in the circumferential direction in the main body. It will be more uniformly fired by hot air. Further, since the solid component recovered from the exhaust gas discharged from the firing furnace contains a calcium component, it is desirable that the solid component be circulated and supplied to the granulator.
[0008]

Further, the granulated material P at this time is formed and granulated into a columnar shape (average particle size: 9 to 11.5 mm) having a diameter of about 8 mm and a length of 10 to 15 mm, and 2.49 kg / h in the case of RUN-1. , RUN-2 was supplied to the

Thus, this result, according to the above processing method, although the case of RUN-1 decomposition ratio of CaCO 3 in the calcined product was relatively high, the CaCO 3 in the case of RUN-2 contrast The decomposition rate was significantly suppressed, and the content of CaCO 3 in the baked product was set to about 20 wt% in RUN-2. Furthermore, when the whiteness of the fired products of RUN-1 and RUN-2 was measured, it was found that both of them had relatively high whiteness of 80 or more.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the papermaking sludge processing method and processing equipment of the present invention, after the papermaking sludge is formed into granules having uniform grains in a granulator, and heated by hot air in a firing furnace. By sintering, the hot air can be spread sufficiently between the granules to achieve uniform and reliable sintering, which promotes complete combustion of organic substances and improvement of recovery efficiency of calcium carbonate, etc. It is possible to improve the whiteness when used as a pigment in the paper making process, and to suppress the wear of the wire of the paper machine and the deterioration of the cutter of the cutting machine in the paper making process. Further, in the treatment method, the granulated product is formed and granulated to a water content of 50 to 60 wt% and an average particle size of 5 to 20 mm, and the granulated product is heated at a firing temperature of 700 to 850 ° C. By holding and firing for 3 hours, it is possible to achieve more reliable and uniform combustion of organic substances and suppression of decomposition of calcium carbonate and the like without requiring much time and labor for molding and granulating the granules. On the other hand, in the above-mentioned processing equipment, the baking furnace is an internal heat kiln in which hot air can be blown into a cylindrical main body which is rotatable around a central axis placed in a horizontal direction, so that granulated products are obtained. To further improve the efficiency of recovering calcium carbonate and the like by making it possible to achieve more uniform firing and to be able to supply the solid content recovered from the exhaust gas discharged from the firing furnace to the granulator. Becomes possible.
