Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toilet seat device, and more particularly, to a toilet seat device in which rear ends of a toilet seat and a toilet lid are pivotally attached to a case accommodating a functional unit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In this type of conventional toilet seat device, as is well known, the rear ends of the toilet seat and the toilet lid are pivotally attached to a case fixed to the rear upper surface of the toilet bowl by a common pin. In the case, a functional unit (a main unit of a control device for controlling the energization of a heater wire disposed in the toilet seat and a hot water washing mechanism for spraying washing water to a human body part) is housed. When the toilet seat device is not used, the toilet lid covers the entire upper surface of the toilet seat, so that the bad odor staying in the toilet does not leak into the toilet space through the toilet seat opening.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-mentioned conventional toilet seat device, the rear ends of the toilet seat and the toilet lid are pivotally attached to the case fixed to the rear upper surface of the toilet bowl by a common pin. A gap is inevitably defined between the edge and the front face of the case facing the edge. However, dust and dirt easily accumulate in this gap, and the frequency of cleaning is high. Moreover, when cleaning with a rag, the rag gets caught in the gap, making cleaning difficult.
[0004]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a toilet seat device free of such a problem.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Means taken to solve the above-mentioned problem are, as described in claim 1, "a case accommodating a functional unit, a toilet seat having a rear end pivotally connected to the case, and a rear end having the A toilet seat device comprising a toilet lid pivotally attached to a rear portion of the case and continuously covering the upper surface of the case and the toilet seat.
[0006]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the toilet seat device of the first aspect, a heat insulating material is attached to an inner surface of the toilet lid. It may be formed of resin.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the toilet seat device according to the present invention will be specifically described.
[0008]
In FIGS. 1 to 3, a case 12 in which a main part (not shown) of the human body local cleaning device is stored is placed on the rear upper edge of the toilet 10 installed in the toilet space. Here, the main part of the human body local cleaning device refers to a portion other than the nozzle (not shown), and includes a control device, a hot water tank, and a mechanism for driving the nozzle as main components. A pair of ear-shaped rear ends 14 a of the toilet seat 14 are pivotally connected to the front part of the case 12 by pins 18. The pivotal configuration of the toilet seat 14 and the case 12 defines a gap 30 therebetween. A heater wire 20 for heating the toilet seat is affixed to the inner surface of the toilet seat 14, and a control device (not shown) for controlling the energization of the heater wire 20 is housed in the case 12, as is well known. ing. Rubber feet 40 are attached to the lower surface of the toilet seat 14 to prevent noise when the toilet seat 14 lands on the rim surface of the toilet bowl 10 or touches the ground.
[0009]
The toilet lid 22 that covers the toilet seat 14 includes a pair of ear-shaped rear ends 22a. The rear end portion 22a is pivotally connected to the rear portion of the case 12 by a pin 24, and the toilet lid 22 covers the toilet seat 14 and the pivotally connected portion between the toilet seat 14 and the case 12. Thereby, the gap 30 is also covered by the toilet lid 22. Since the toilet lid 22 covers the toilet seat 14 entirely, heat dissipation from the toilet seat 14 that is maintained at a predetermined temperature by energizing the heater wire 20 can be suppressed, and power can be saved. In addition, since the gap 30 is also covered with the toilet lid 22, dust does not enter the gap, and the necessity of dusting is eliminated.
[0010]
In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, if the aluminum foil 32 is stuck on the inner surface of the toilet lid 22, the above-mentioned heat insulating effect can be doubled. Further, although not shown, by forming the toilet lid 22 with a transparent resin, the inside of the toilet bowl can be peeped, and washing confirmation after defecation can be performed. Alternatively, if the toilet seat 14 and the toilet lid 22 are automatically closed when not in use, dust is less likely to enter the gap 30.
[0011]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
[0012]
Since the toilet lid covers the pivotal connection between the case and the toilet seat and the entire upper surface of the toilet seat, the gap inevitably defined between the case and the toilet seat is also covered. Cleaning upon entry is not required, and the rag does not get caught in the gap when wiping the surface with the rag. In addition, by covering the gap, the aesthetic appearance is improved.
[0013]
By attaching an aluminum foil or other heat insulating member to the inner surface of the toilet lid, heat radiation from the toilet seat can be effectively suppressed.
[0014]
By forming the toilet lid with a transparent resin, the inside of the toilet bowl can be peeped, and washing confirmation after defecation can be performed.
