2. Description of the Related Art As described above, a metallic-like (metallic-like) glittering design expression that cannot be realized by a printing layer using a usual coloring pigment, and a cosmetic material are used. As a decorative sheet for applications requiring extremely high concealing properties such that the surface of the base material cannot be seen through, conventionally, a base material sheet made of paper or a synthetic resin film is provided with a bright pigment made of light-reflecting fine particles. Decorative sheets provided with a glittering printing layer containing them are already widely used. As the glitter pigment, for example, a metal powder pigment having excellent light-reflecting property and light-shielding property, such as aluminum powder or bronze powder, is generally used (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-64870 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-67070). 111991, etc.).

However, the above-mentioned metal powder pigments generally have a drawback that they are poor in chemical resistance, for example, they are easily dissolved, oxidized or discolored by the action of acid or alkali. In particular, aluminum powder, which is most commonly used as a metal powder pigment, has very weak alkali resistance, and when a decorative sheet using this, for example, a household alkaline detergent adheres, the aluminum powder dissolves in alkali. Therefore, there is a problem that the brilliance and the concealing property are lost.

Generally, a top coat layer made of, for example, a urethane resin, an aminoalkyd resin, an acrylic resin or the like is often applied on the printed layer of the decorative sheet,
Since this top coat layer is originally formed of a resin that can be applied by being dissolved in a solvent, its shielding property against chemicals is not so high as compared with a thermoplastic resin film, and its thickness is also high. At most several μm to several tens of μm
Partly thin, the function of protecting the glitter printing layer from chemicals is not always sufficient.

On the other hand, a transparent thermoplastic resin film is used as the base sheet, and a glitter printing layer is formed on the back side thereof, or on the glitter printing layer on the surface of the base sheet. The above-mentioned problem of chemical resistance can be sufficiently solved by adopting a constitution in which transparent thermoplastic resin films that do not allow chemicals to permeate are laminated.

[0006] However, first, in the former case, as a base sheet for a decorative sheet, in the case of using a paper which is inexpensive and has excellent printability, and a colored and opaque thermoplastic resin film which is excellent in hiding property and stability of color tone, , Of course, cannot be applied. On the other hand, the latter requires additional material costs such as a transparent thermoplastic resin film to be laminated and adhesives for lamination, and processing costs in the lamination process. Since the thickness of the decorative sheet is increased by the amount of the laminated plastic resin film, it is difficult to cope with the use where an inexpensive decorative sheet or a thin decorative sheet is required.

Therefore, as a method capable of improving the chemical resistance of the glitter printing layer without changing the entire structure of the decorative sheet or the material of the base sheet, a metal powder pigment is used instead of the above-mentioned metal powder pigment. There is also one using a pearlescent pigment such as titanium oxide-coated mica which has a light reflectivity similar to that of the above and is more excellent in chemical resistance than a metal powder pigment (JP-A-6-262735, JP-A-2000). -62081).

However, the above pearlescent pigment obtains a light reflection effect by utilizing the light interference effect of the transparent thin film,
Compared with the metal powder pigment, both the light reflectance and the light shielding property (low light transmittance) are inferior. Therefore, depending on the decorative sheet using the pearlescent pigment, there is a problem in that it is not possible to obtain a decorative sheet having a high-luminance metallic luster comparable to a decorative sheet using a metallic powder pigment and a high hiding property.

In the present invention, the reason why the metal powder pigment and the pearlescent pigment are used in combination as described above is that the glitter printing layer 13 is used.
The decorative sheet 1 has high light reflectivity and light shielding property, is excellent in metallic luster and hiding power, and is also excellent in chemical resistance (particularly alkali resistance) of the glitter printing layer 13. Is to get.

On the other hand, when the metal powder pigment and the pearlescent pigment are used in combination, the presence of the metal powder pigment having a higher light reflectance and a lower light transmittance as compared with the case where only the pearlescent pigment is used, It is possible to obtain an excellent metallic luster and a high degree of hiding, which cannot be obtained only by the pearlescent pigment.

On the other hand, as compared with the case where only the metal powder pigment is used, the presence of the pearlescent pigment having excellent chemical resistance causes the metal powder pigment to be affected by the chemicals to have the light reflecting ability and the light shielding ability. This is because both the scaly metal powder pigment and the pearlescent pigment overlap each other in the film of the glitter printing layer 13, so that the pearlescent pigment is placed on the surface or both surfaces are pearlescent pigment. The metal powder pigment that is present in the film in a state of being sandwiched between is shielded from chemicals by the pearlescent pigment that has excellent chemical resistance, and thus is less susceptible to the action of chemicals, and therefore its excellent It is considered that the luster and the concealing property can be maintained for a long period of time.

In addition to the above, the addition of a pearlescent pigment can be used to reduce the blending amount of the metal powder pigment, which is a factor of deteriorating the printability of the glittering printing ink, to the extent that the glittering and hiding properties are compensated for. As a result, the printability of the glitter printing ink is improved, and defective printing, uneven printing, and plate picking in multicolor printing (a part of the printing ink once printed adheres to the printing ink plate to be printed next). Of the top coat layer 15 and the like during handling before coating (a phenomenon in which the printed film becomes fine powder and peels off when the printed surface is rubbed), etc. It also has the advantage of enabling clear printing.

In order to sufficiently achieve the above object, the compounding ratio of the metal powder pigment and the pearlescent pigment is such that the metal powder pigment is 10 to 10.
It is preferable to set the ratio in the range of 5 to 20 parts by weight to 25 parts by weight of the pearlescent pigment.

When the amount of the metal powder pigment is relatively less than the above range, it is difficult to obtain a sufficient luster and hiding power.
On the other hand, if the amount of pearlescent pigment is small, it is difficult to obtain sufficient chemical resistance (alkali resistance), and it also causes deterioration of printability.

Regarding the compounding ratio of the luster pigment and the binder, if the amount of the binder is relatively too large, the luster feeling and the hiding property become insufficient, and conversely, if the amount of the binder is too small, printing of the luster printing ink is carried out. There is a case where the suitability is deteriorated, and it is easy to cause inking defects during printing, uneven printing, plate picking, and the like, or the chalking of the glitter printing layer 13 is likely to occur during handling after printing. .

Therefore, the blending ratio of the bright pigment and the binder needs to be appropriately designed within the range where the above-mentioned inconvenience does not occur. According to a trial study by the present inventors, 10 to 25 parts by weight of the metal powder pigment and 5 of the pearl luster pigment are contained as the solid content.
When the blending ratio is in the range of 20 to 20 parts by weight and the binder is 20 to 30 parts by weight, the result is that the decorative sheet 1 has the best balance in all performance aspects.

The top coat layer 15 may be provided by laminating a decorative sheet before the formation of the top coat layer 15 on the surface of the base material 2 for decorative plate and then applying a coating, but the top coat is previously formed on the surface. When the decorative sheet 1 provided with the layer 15 is provided, the decorative material can be easily produced by simply laminating the decorative sheet 1 on the surface of the base material 2 for decorative plate, and further, up to the lamination. There is an advantage that each printed layer can be protected during handling.

It should be noted that the thicker the topcoat layer 15 is, the more advantageous it is to improve the surface physical properties.
If the thickness is too thick, the decorative sheet 1 loses flexibility, and the suitability for laminating on the base material 2 for decorative material may deteriorate. In such a case, a thin top coat layer 15 having repaintability is provided in advance on the decorative sheet 1, and after being laminated with the base material 2 for decorative material, coating is performed again to obtain a sufficient thickness. It is preferable to provide the top coat layer 15.

The top coat layer 15 has a structure in which it is uniformly provided on the entire surface as in the examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and for example, a plurality of types of paints having different gloss states are used, and at least a part thereof is used. By providing the pattern in an arbitrary pattern, a three-dimensional design is provided by a change in the gloss state of the surface, or printing with a resin-absorbent printing ink or a liquid-repellent printing ink is performed before the top coat layer 15 is applied. By forming the layer, the top coat layer 15 can be formed only on the portion where the printing layer is not formed, and a three-dimensional design feeling due to unevenness or gloss change can be imparted.
