機械の情報管理を行うようにしたものは知られている。
機械の稼動情報を送信する場合、次のような送信タイミ
ングが考えられる。 (1)機械のキースイッチをオンしたときに送信する。 (2)エンジンを始動したときに送信する。 (3)別に送信用のスイッチを設け、該スイッチを操作し
たときに送信する。 【0003】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】前述した稼動情報の送
信タイミングのうち、(1)の場合、キースイッチを何度
もオン・オフするような使用状況では、頻繁に送信が行
われて通信費用が嵩む。また(2)の場合も同様に、エン
ジンの始動・停止を何度も繰り返すような使用状況で
は、頻繁に送信が行われて通信費用が嵩む。これに対し
て(3)の場合は、送信回数を抑止できるが、その都度ス
イッチを操作しなければならず、操作が煩雑である。 【0004】また、機体のコントローラまたは送信機に
時計機能を設け、該時計機能の作動により1日1回のみ
送信を行うように設定することもできる。しかし、時計
機能を生かすためには、機械の稼動時以外のときも常時
電源を接続しておく必要があり、長期の休車時にはバッ

頻度を抑制しつつ定期的な送信が可能となるようにする
ために解決すべき技術的課題が生じてくるのであり、本

するために提案されたものであり、機械の稼動情報を検
出する手段と、該稼動情報を管理センタへ無線送信する
手段とを備えた建設機械の情報送信装置に於いて、機械
の稼動時間を計測する手段と、計測された稼働時間を加
算する手段と、加算された稼働時間を記憶する不揮発性
メモリとを備え、機械の電源オン時は、先ず、前記不揮
発性メモリに記憶されている加算された稼働時間を読み
込んで予め設定した時間と比較し、加算された稼働時間
が設定時間よりも大であるときは、前記機械の稼動情報
を管理センタへ無線送信した後に加算された稼働時間を
リセットし、一方、加算された稼働時間が設定時間より
も小であるときは、前記稼動情報の無線送信は実行せず
に稼働時間の計測及び加算を継続し、キースイッチオフ
操作時は、前記加算された稼働時間を不揮発性メモリに
記憶した後に電源をオフするように構成された建設機械

械の稼働時間を計測する手段12と、キースイッチ13

算手段23にて稼動時間を加算する。図2のフローチャ
ートに示すように、先ず、電源オン後の初回の場合は、
前記不揮発性メモリ22から前記加算された稼働時間
(累積時間)を読み込んで(ステップ1→ステップ
2)、予め設定した設定時間と前記累積時間とを稼働時
間比較手段24にて比較する(ステップ3)。このと
き、累積時間が設定時間よりも大(累積時間=設定時間
の場合も含むものとする)であるときは、コントローラ
20は前記稼動情報データを送信手段25から管理セン
タへ送信し(ステップ4)、その後、いままでの累積時
