【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、作業機の安定性を
向上させるために用いるアクスル延長アダプタに関する
ものである。

【従来の技術】図7乃至図11は移動式クレーンなどの
作業機の走行装置の一例であり、この走行装置は、カー
ボディ1と、左右一対のクローラフレーム2とを備えて
いる。
【0003】カーボディ1は、キャブや機械室を有する
上部旋回体(図示せず)を支持する旋回台3と、該旋回
台3の左右両側の前端部及び後端部から作業機の外方へ
互いに平行に突出するアクスル部材4とで構成されてい
る。
【0004】クローラフレーム2は、作業機の前後方向
に延びる中空構造のフレーム本体5と、該フレーム本体
5の後端部(図7のA側)に枢支され且つ油圧モータ
(図示せず)によって駆動されるスプロケット6と、フ
レーム本体5の前端部(図7のB側)に枢支したアイド
ラホィール7と、フレーム本体5の下辺に枢支した複数
の下部ローラ8、並びにフレーム本体5の上辺に枢支し
た複数の上部ローラ9と、これらのスプロケット6,下
部ローラ8,アイドラホィール7,上部ローラ9に巻き
掛けた無端状のクローラシュー10とで構成されてお
り、油圧モータが作動すると、スプロケット6によって
送出されるクローラシュー10が、上部ローラ9,アイ
ドラホィール7,下部ローラ8に案内されて周回するよ
うになっている。
【0005】このクローラフレーム2は、カーボディ1
の左右に取り付けられている。
【0006】フレーム本体5の前後方向中間部分には、
左右方向に貫通し且つアクスル部材4に摺動可能に外接
する中空構造のアクスルボックス11が、2つずつ設け
られている。
【0007】旋回台3の下側には、シリンダ12が配置
されている。
【0008】このシリンダ12は、ハウジングがカーボ
ディ1に連結され、また、ピストンロッドがフレーム本
体5に連結されており、当該シリンダ12を拡縮させる
ことにより、左右のクローラフレーム2の間隔を調整で
きるようになっている。
【0009】更に、アクスル部材4の先端部には、アク
スル延長アダプタが装着できるようになっている。
【0010】アクスル延長アダプタは、図10及び図1
1に示すように、アクスル部材4の端面に4本のボルト
13で締結される基板14と、該基板14の下辺に溶接
固着され且つアクスルボックス11内底面に当接し得る
摺動板15と、該摺動板15の上面、及び基板14の反
アクスル部材側の面の双方に溶接固着した補強材16と
を有している。
【0011】このアクスル延長アダプタを、各アクスル
部材4の端面に装着したうえ、左右のクローラフレーム
2の間隔を、摺動板15にアクスルボックス11の内底
面が当接するように拡げれば、作業機の安定性の向上が
図られる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところが、上述した従
来のアクスル延長アダプタでは、その着脱に際し、多数
のボルト13を締結する作業や、当該ボルト13の締結
を解除する作業が必要となるため、左右のクローラフレ
ーム2の間隔を直に調整することができなかった。
【0013】また、アクスル延長アダプタを取り付けた
ままにしておくと、カーボディ1の最大寸法が過大とな
って輸送に制限が生じてしまう。
【0014】本発明は上述した実情に鑑みてなしたもの
で、着脱作業が容易なアクスル延長アダプタを提供する
ことを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するた
め、本発明のアクスル延長アダプタでは、カーボディの
アクスル部材の先端部にカーボディ外方側から中心側へ
向かって挿入可能なアダプタ本体と、カーボディの前後
方向に延び且つアクスル部材及びアダプタ本体を貫通可
能なピンと、アクスル部材の先端上縁部にカーボディ外
方側から当接し得るようにアダプタ本体に固着した押圧
部材と、アクスル部材に外接するクローラフレームのア
クスルボックスの内底面に当接し得るようにアダプタ本
体に固着した摺動板とを備えている。
【0016】本発明のアクスル延長アダプタにおいて
は、アクスル部材及びアダプタ本体にピンを貫通させ
て、アクスルボックスに当接すべき摺動板をアクスル部
材に拘束し、当該ピンをアクスル部材及びアダプタ本体
から引き抜いて、アクスル部材に対する摺動板の拘束を
解除する。
【0017】また、クローラフレームが地面から受ける
反力を、ピン及び押圧部材によってアクスル部材に伝達
する。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図
示例とともに説明する。
【0019】図1乃至図6は本発明のアクスル延長アダ
プタの実施の形態の一例であり、図中、図7乃至図9と
同一の符号を付した部分は同一物を表している。
【0020】このアクスル延長アダプタは、各アクスル
部材4先端部の腹板部材4aの下縁寄り部分をカーボデ
ィ1の前後方向に貫通し得るピン18と、アクスル部材
4の先端部にカーボディ1外方側から中心側へ向かって
挿入可能で且つ前記のピン18に枢支されるアダプタ本
体17と、該アダプタ本体17に固着した押圧部材1
9、並びに摺動板20とを備えている。
【0021】アダプタ本体17は、カーボディ1前後方
向に並んで配置され且つカーボディ1前後方向に見て略
三角形状を呈する2枚の垂直部材21と、前後の両垂直
部材21の下辺に溶接固着した水平部材22と、前後の
両垂直部材21間に介在してその対峙面に溶接固着した
補剛部材23とで構成されている。
【0022】垂直部材21のアクスル部材4寄りの部分
には、前記のピン18が挿通可能なピン孔24が穿設さ
れ、また、前後の垂直部材21間には、ピン孔24と同
軸の透孔25を有する中空部材26が介在している。
【0023】更に、各垂直部材21の反中空部材側の面
には、ピン孔24と同軸に位置するように当て座金21
aが固着され、アクスル部材4に対する嵌合及び摺動が
配慮されている。
【0024】水平部材22は、アダプタ本体17をアク
スル部材4に装着したときに、そのアクスル部材4側端
面が、アクスル部材4の先端下縁部に当接する。
【0025】押圧部材19は、垂直部材21頂部に溶接
固着されており、アダプタ本体17をアクスル部材4に
装着したときに、アクスル部材4の先端上縁部に当接す
るようになっている。
【0026】摺動板20は、アダプタ本体17の水平部
材22下面に溶接固着されており、アクスル部材4にク
ローラフレーム2のアクスルボックス11を外接させた
ときに、その内底面に当接するようになっている。
【0027】この摺動板20の平面形状は、長手方向中
間部から先端(反アクスル部材側)に向かって幅が徐々
に狭まり、先端が半円状になっている。
【0028】アクスル延長アダプタをアクスル部材4に
取り付けるときには、垂直部材21のピン孔24寄り部
分がカーボディ1中心側を向くようにしたアダプタ本体
17を、アクスル部材4の先端部に挿入し、アクスル部
材4及びアダプタ本体17のピン孔24にピン18を挿
通する。
【0029】次いで、シリンダ12を伸張させて左右の
クローラフレーム2の間隔を拡げると、アクスルボック
ス11内底面にアダプタ本体17の摺動板20が当接す
る。

ら受ける反力を、アダプタ本体17の押圧部材19及び
ピン18を介してアクスル部材4に伝達する。
【0031】アクスル延長アダプタをアクスル部材4か
ら取り外すときには、シリンダ12を縮小して左右のク
ローラフレーム2の間隔を狭めたうえ、ピン18をアク
スル部材4及びアダプタ本体17から引き抜いて、アク
スル部材4に対するアダプタ本体17の拘束を解除す
る。
【0032】このように、図1乃至図6に示すアクスル
延長アダプタおいては、アクスル延長アダプタの着脱
を、1本のピン18の抜き差しによって容易に行なうこ
とができる。
【0033】また、クローラフレーム2が受ける反力
を、押圧部材19とピン18を介してアクスル部材4に
伝達するので、単純な構造で大きな剛性を得ることがで
きる。
【0034】更に、アダプタ本体17の摺動板20を先
端に向かって幅が漸減する先細形状に形成したので、ク
ローラフレーム2が地面から受ける反力による摺動板2

述した実施の形態のみに限定されるものではなく、本発
明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において種々変更を加え得

【発明の効果】以上述べたように、本発明のアクスル延
長アダプタによれば、下記のような種々の優れた効果を
奏し得る。

アダプタ本体から引き抜いて、アクスル部材に対する摺

のピンの抜き差しによって容易に行なうことができる。
