2. Description of the Related Art Attempts have been made to utilize a large amount of dehydrated cake produced in human waste treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants and the like as fertilizer. In particular, granular composts obtained by pelletizing fermented compost and drying and deodorizing it are being used. This granular compost is inferior in aesthetics, from gray that is close to black to grayish brown and ocher. In particular, when the conventional granular compost is sprinkled on the cultivated soil of a flower pot placed on a balcony or a window, or on a lawn such as a garden or a golf course, the presence of the granular compost is conspicuous.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-291882
When the surface of the granular fertilizer is coated with a film such as a decomposable film as in JP-A-10-025179, the fertilizer effect inside may be limited until the film is decomposed. Also,
The decomposed debris of the degradable film will be deposited on or inside the cultivated soil of the flowerpot. In addition, since the fertilizer has a film on the surface, it is glossy, and even if it is colored blue or the like and sprinkled on the inside of a lawn or the like, the presence of the fertilizer is conspicuous.

When coloring is applied to the entire fertilizer compact, the fertilizer surface is prevented from glossing and its presence becomes inconspicuous.
In order to provide sufficient coloring, a large amount of the coloring agent or dye is required at the time of formulation, and the coloring agent or dye contained therein causes environmental pollution inside the flowerpot or in the garden, golf course and the like.

As a result of studying the above-mentioned problems, as a result of stirring the granular fertilizer while maintaining its shape, the colorant (in the present invention, generically referred to as pigment or dye) is adhered to the colorant. And a method for producing a colored granular fertilizer characterized by forming an adhering layer of a coloring agent on the surface of the granular fertilizer, whereby even if it is dull and the surroundings have the same color, it can be sprinkled in the natural world. It became possible to obtain granular fertilizer that was colored so that its presence was inconspicuous. The non-glossy state requires that the colorant layer does not reflect incident light in a certain direction but is diffusely reflected, which is why the colorant forms a smooth layer on the surface of the granular fertilizer. Try not to form. As a means therefor, it is advisable to coat (spray) the surface of the granular fertilizer with the granular or scale-like coloring agent, that is, to make it adhere.

In order to apply it to the surface of the granular fertilizer, one method is to wet the granular fertilizer and attach a powder colorant to the surface, but in order not to damage the shape of the granular fertilizer. It is advisable to apply the coloring agent in a wet state without wetting the granular fertilizer. As a result, it is possible to form an adhering layer of the coloring agent on the surface of the granular fertilizer, which diffusely reflects light. The granular fertilizer will have a surface of porous structure covered by colorant particles.

The color of the colorant is preferably blue or green in accordance with the aesthetics on the veranda or the like and lawn or other vegetation. When the granular fertilizer inside disintegrates, the coloring agent also disappears, but the coloring agent itself is more preferably photodegradable or biodegradable. As an example of a colorant, an alkaline earth metal and a copper silicate which are blue or green, which is said to have little environmental pollution, and which are introduced in Japanese Patent Publication No. 09-504771 and which are particularly suitable for coloring blue, are used. In addition to the above, as an example of other coloring agents, food dye blue No. 1 aluminum lake (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 08-302230) can be exemplified. Inorganic pigments such as chrome oxide green, cobalt blue and others can be used, but some are not preferable from the viewpoint of environmental pollution such as chrome, and caution is required when using them.

The colored granular fertilizer of the present invention has a porous structure in which the surface of the granular fertilizer is covered with colorant particles.
There is no conventional granular fertilizer covered with degradable resin film,
The immediate effect of fertilizer effect can be obtained. In addition, the decomposed residue of the coating does not deposit on or in the cultivated soil of the flower pot. In addition, since there is no luster caused by the existing coating film on the fertilizer surface, the presence of the fertilizer does not stand out even if it is sprinkled inside the lawn such as a golf course. Since it is attached, the absolute amount of the coloring agent is small, and there is almost no environmental pollution in the flowerpot, the garden, the golf course, etc. It is easy to manufacture.
