【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、車両が雪道を一
時的に走行する場合に、タイヤに簡易に取り付けられる
滑り止めである。

【従来の技術】従来の車両の雪道通行用の滑り止めは、
長距離走行を前提にしたチェーン型の滑り止めであり、
チェーンが重く、チェーンが絡まったりして作業が
困難であり、また、取り付け取り外し作業には、車両
をジャッキアップするか、一度途中で車両を移動させる
などの措置が必要であり、チェーンの取り付け取り外し
作業は非常に手間のかかる重労働であった。また、金属
チェーンを改良した非金属チェーン（主にゴム素材のも
の）が現在多数作られている。これら非金属チェーンに
おいては、上記、の問題は相当改善されているもの
の、形状が網状であるために、どういう方向で取り付け
るのかイメージがつかみにくく、絡まりはしないものの
取り付けのイメージを持ちにくく、また、上記の問題
は同様にあった。

【本発明が解決しようとする課題】（従来の技術の欠
点）従来のチェーン型滑り止めは、いずれも長距離走行
を前提にしているために、走行時にチェーンが外れない
ようにすることや、走行の安定性（走行時の車内の居住
性）に配慮した結果であると考えられる。しかし、現在
スタッドレスタイヤが相当普及し、多くの雪道はこれら
のスタッドレスタイヤによる走行で事足りる状態であ
る。また、我が国のスキー等の観光地ではほとんどの主
要道路で積雪の除却が行われている。これらの地域で
は、スタッドレスタイヤではどうしても滑ってしまう僅
かの距離の坂道（そこに滑り止めの砂がおいてあれば、
その砂をまけばすみ、むしろでもあればそれでも良いも
の）や、道路の一部分の凍結に対応する応急的な滑り止
めが必要とされているのであり、それだけに、走行の安
定性よりも、着脱の簡易性が優先されるべきものであ
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、従来のチェー
ン型滑り止めの欠点を改良するものではない。従来のチ
ェーン型滑り止めは、雪道での長距離走行を前提にする
技術であり、従来の滑り止めには、短距離の応急的滑り
止めという技術分野が存在しなかった。本発明は、この
分野の新しい技術というべきである。
布（テント用等に用いられているもの）又はゴムとい
う素材を使用することにより軽量であるため、作業が手
軽で、タイヤの外側と接地面（のうちの大部分）に覆
い被せる方法で装着する（しかもタイヤ側面と接地面の
覆いの色を変える）ために、チェーンが絡まったり装着
のイメージがつかみにくかったりしないのですぐ装着で
き、短距離走行であるとして走行の安定性を捨てるこ
とによって、タイヤの接地面の内の一部には覆いがかか
らないという方法で装着することで、着脱作業における
ジャッキアップや車両の移動の工程を省略することがで
きる。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、発明の実施の形態を説明す
る。
イ タイヤの外側部分（Ａ色）とタイヤの接地部分（Ｂ
色、ただし、一部は除く）、タイヤ内側部分の縁取り程
度の部分（Ｃ色）を覆うゴムまたは布を素材とする覆い
を製作する。Ａ色、Ｂ色、Ｃ色は例えば、赤・青・黄の
