吸着作用を行わせ、湿気吸着剤の脱着工程においては吸
着素子201の冷却流路3に高温の脱着空気を流すよう
にするとともに、複数の吸着素子101,201が交互
に除湿工程と脱着工程になるようにした。
Description
よって快適な空気を供給する除湿空調装置に関するもの
である。
式とが普及しており、近年では吸収式あるいは吸着式の
中ではシリカゲルを担持したハニカムローターを有する
乾式のものが価格が安価でありメンテナンスが容易であ
るなどの理由によって普及している。
乾式の空調装置は除湿すべき被処理空気の湿気がシリカ
ゲル等の吸着剤に吸着される際に吸着熱を発生する。す
ると被処理空気の温度が上がり、これに伴い被処理空気
の相対湿度が低下するため、除湿性能を上げるためには
被処理空気を前もって冷却する必要があった。
願公開昭和62年第68520号公報に開示されたよう
な技術が開発された。すなわち、ハニカムローターに顕
熱交換機能を持たせ、吸着熱を空気によって冷却除去し
ながら吸着を行うようにしたものである。
ながら吸着を行う技術として出願人自信が特開2001
−62242号公報に開示された技術を出願した。
は除湿装置としての技術開示があるが、除湿冷房装置と
しての応用について開示が見られない。
着熱を除去しながら乾燥空気を供給することによって極
めて除湿能力の高く、製品空気の温度の低い除湿冷房装
置を提供しようとするものである。
課題を解決するため、複数の流路を有し、その一方の内
面は湿気吸着剤を有する吸着素子を複数設け、被処理空
気の除湿工程においては吸着素子の一方の流路に被処理
空気を流しながら吸着素子の他方の流路に冷却空気を流
すことによって吸着熱を奪いながら吸着作用を行わせ、
湿気吸着剤の脱着工程においては吸着素子の他方の流路
に高温の脱着空気を流すようにするとともに、複数の吸
着素子が交互に除湿工程と脱着工程になるようにした。

の一方の流路内面は湿気吸着剤を有し、被処理空気の除
湿工程においては吸着素子の一方の流路に被処理空気を
流しながら吸着素子の他方の流路に冷却空気を流すよう
にし、湿気吸着剤の脱着工程においては吸着素子の他方
の流路に高温の脱着空気を流すようにするとともに、複
数の吸着素子が交互に除湿工程と脱着工程になるように
することによって、処理空気の除湿工程において吸着熱
を除去しながら湿気を吸着するという作用を有する。
図に沿って詳細に説明する。図1は本発明の除湿空調装
置の実施例1を示すフロー図であり、図2は本発明の除
湿空調装置に用いられる湿気吸着素子の斜視図である。

て冷却し、製品空気として部屋8に供給するようにす
る。

熱で空気を冷却するものであり、例えば空気中に水を噴
霧するものである。

図2を使って説明した湿気吸着素子1と同じものであ
る。さらに、図2のフローにおいて所定時間が経過した
ら、第1湿気吸着素子101及び第2湿気吸着素子20

を吸着流路102に流すと、外気に含まれる湿気は吸
着流路102内の湿気吸着剤によって吸着され、乾燥空
気となる。この乾燥空気は加湿冷却器7によって水
を噴霧され、温度が下がった製品空気となって部屋8
へ供給される。
9に入り、温度が低下して冷却空気となって第1湿気
吸着素子101の冷却流路103に通される。冷却空気
はこの冷却流路103内で吸着流路102の熱と顕熱
交換を行う。つまり冷却空気は吸着流路102内で発
生する吸着熱を奪うとともに、冷却空気の温度が上昇
する。
のようにして冷却空気によって奪われるため、吸着剤
6による吸着が促進され、乾燥空気の湿度は極めて低
くなる。冷却流路103を通過した冷却空気は温度が
上がり、中温空気となって加熱器10に入る。中温空
気は加熱器10で加熱され、高温空気となって第2
湿気吸着素子201の吸着流路202に入る。
気を吸着した湿気吸着剤6は脱着される。吸着流路20
2を出た空気は脱着された湿気によって高湿空気とな
って大気に放出される。

それ以上の除湿効果が得られなくなる。そこで第1湿気
吸着素子101と第2湿気吸着素子201とが入れ替わ
るように配管を切り替える。
既に脱着されているため、外気に含まれる湿気を十分
に吸着することができ、上記の説明の動作を繰り返す。

れぞれの吸着素子に対応させて2組設け、バルブ(図示
せず)によって切り替えるようにする。あるいは、第1
湿気吸着素子101と第2湿気吸着素子201とを回転
するテーブル(図示せず)に載せ、所定時間おきに第1
湿気吸着素子101と第2湿気吸着素子201との位置
を入れ替えるようにする。

せて所定時間経過するごとに入れ替わるように構成され
ている。

4吸着素子401も第1湿気吸着素子101、第2湿気
吸着素子201及び第3吸着素子301と同じ構成であ
る。また実施例1あるいは実施例2の構成部材と同じも
のについては同じ番号を付与して重複した説明を避け
る。

が第3吸着素子301の冷却流路303に通されると
ともに、第3吸着素子301の冷却流路303を出た空
気が第4吸着素子401の冷却流路403に通されるよ
うに構成されている。これによって第3吸着素子301
の冷却流路303を出て温度の上昇した空気が第4吸着
素子401の温度を上昇させる。つまり第4吸着素子4
01は脱着に先立って余熱されることになり、脱着を行
った場合に脱着が促進される。

01は上記実施例1や実施例2のように配管を切り替え
るか、あるいは回転テーブルに載せて所定時間経過する
ごとに入れ替わるように構成されている。
図に沿って説明する。先ず外気の温度が34℃、相対湿
度が40%であったとする。この空気は第1吸着素子1
01の吸着流路102を通過する際に湿気が吸着され、
湿度が下がるとともに冷却空気によって冷却され、温
度が下がる。
温度22℃、相対湿度10%となる。この乾燥空気は
加湿冷却器7で加湿冷却され、温度が10℃まで下がる
とともに相対湿度80%になる。しかしこの空気の絶対
湿度は7g/Kg程度であり、外気の絶対湿度15g/
Kgより湿気は少ない。従って加湿冷却器7を出た製品
空気は加湿されていても十分に絶対湿度は低く快適な
空気となる。

であったとすると、加湿冷却器9を通過することによっ
て相対湿度が100%近くまで上昇し、温度は20℃程
度まで下がり、冷却空気となる。

回転することによって連続的に吸着及び脱着操作が行わ

2が形成され、中心から外周に向かう方向に冷却流路4

吸着素子401はその回転方向に沿って吸着ゾーン1
3、余熱ゾーン14、脱着ゾーン15、冷却ゾーン16
に分割されている。
以下その動作について説明する。まず外気が吸着ゾー
ン13で湿気吸着素子401の吸着流路402を通って
軸方向に貫通する。これによって外気は乾燥空気と
なる。乾燥空気は加湿冷却器7で加湿冷却され、製品
空気となって室内に供給される。

16に入り、冷却流路403を通って湿気吸着素子40

したので、一方の流路で発生した吸着熱は発生とともに
他方の流路に流れる冷却空気で奪われ、一方の流路の温
度があまり上昇しないため、一方の流路内の吸着剤の性
能を効果的に発揮させることができるものである。この
ため高い吸着性能を発揮することができ、より快適性の
高い空気を供給することができる。
のように吸着素子が吸着作用を開始する前に冷却される
ため、吸着作用がさらに強く発揮される。
にあっては、吸着素子の脱着前に予熱され、脱着空気の
温度が低くても効果的に脱着されるため、脱着エネルギ
ーを少なくすることができる。さらに予熱空気として脱
着後の除湿素子を冷却した中温の空気を用いることによ
って予熱のエネルギーを必要とせず、より省エネルギー
効果が高くなる。
にあっては、環状吸着素子を用い、この吸着素子を回転
させながら吸着・脱着動作を行うため連続的に乾燥空気
の供給を行うことができる。さらに予熱や予冷を行うこ
ともでき、第3実施例のものと同じ効果を得ることがで
きる。

Claims (4)
- 【請求項1】複数の流路が互いに分離されるとともに相
互に熱伝導可能な吸着素子を複数有し、前記複数の吸着
素子それぞれの一方の流路内面は湿気吸着剤を有し、被
処理空気の除湿工程においては前記吸着素子の一方の流
路に被処理空気を流しながら前記吸着素子の他方の流路
に冷却空気を流すようにし、前記湿気吸着剤の脱着工程
においては前記吸着素子の他方の流路に高温の脱着空気
を流すようにするとともに、前記複数の吸着素子が交互
に除湿工程と脱着工程になるようにした除湿空調装置。 - 【請求項2】少なくとも3つの吸着素子を有し、前記吸
着素子の1つは吸着作用を行う前に他方の流路に冷却空
気を流して冷却するようにした請求項1に記載の除湿空
調装置。 - 【請求項3】少なくとも4つの吸着素子を有し、前記吸
着素子の1つは吸着作用を行う前に他方の流路に冷却空
気を流して冷却するようにするとともに、前記吸着素子
の他の1つは他方の流路に高温の脱着空気を流す前に他
方の流路に余熱空気を流すようにした請求項1に記載の
除湿空調装置。 - 【請求項4】複数の流路が互いに分離されるとともに相
互に熱伝導可能であって一方の流路内に湿気吸着剤を有
する環状吸着素子を備え、この環状吸着素子を回転させ
るように構成し、前記環状吸着素子を少なくとも吸着ゾ
ーンと脱着ゾーンとに分け、前記吸着ゾーンに外気を通
しながら吸着熱を冷却するようにした除湿空調装置。
