Abstract
Description

健全な椎間板の機械的特性に可及的に近似するように変化する。

垂直で、ボディー12のそれぞれの軸方向端面18と接触している、平坦な内側中心
面20を有する。従って、ボディーの凸状の球面18は、プレートの平坦面20に当た
っている。ボディー12は、各プレート4に対して機械的に固定されずに当たって
いるので、ボディーは、円形皿部に平行な方向に、即ち、主軸14に垂直な方向に

ここでは、その外径は約30 mm で、内径は約17 mm である。その高さは、補綴具
に荷重がかかっていない時に10 mm である。ベローズの壁面は、各0.1 mm厚さの
1枚、2枚または3枚のシートから作製でき、この厚みの合計が壁面の厚みを形
成する。ベローズそれ自体の剛性 (強度) は、この例では約1.6 N/mmである。

大するという結果になる。この増大は接触領域の表面積が最大に達するまで続き
、その時点でボディーの端面18はその全体がプレート4に接触するようになって
いる。

大するようになっていることを特徴とする、椎間板補綴具。 - 【請求項2】 接触領域がプレートの1つの面(20)とボディーの端面の1つ
の面(18)とにより規定され、プレートまたはボディーの面の1つ、特にボディー
の面(18)が凸面に湾曲し、他方の面(20)が平坦であることを特徴とする、請求項
1記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項3】 接触領域がプレートの1つの面(20)とボディーの端面の1つ
の面(18)とにより規定され、両方の面が少なくとも1つの共通方向に湾曲してお
り、その一方が凹面で他方が凸面であり、凹面(20)の少なくとも1つの曲率半径
が凸面(18)の対応する曲率半径より大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の補
綴具。 - 【請求項4】 ボディー(12)の少なくとも1つの端面(18)が、プレートの一
方(4) と接触していて、かつプレートと平行な方向にプレートに対して自由に移
動できることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項5】 ボディー(12)の1つの端部(18)が、この端面に対する横方向
停止部を形成している、プレートの一方(4) に設けた凹部(32)内に収容されてい
ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項6】 ボディー(12)が粘弾性材料、特にシリコーンから構成される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項7】 プレート間に挟持された流体を含むことを特徴とする、請求
項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項8】 流体がプレートと接触していることを特徴とする、請求項7
記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項9】 流体がボディー(12)の周囲に存在することを特徴とする、請
求項7または8記載の補綴具。 - 【請求項10】 流体を入れた包囲壁(22)を含み、これが、プレート(4) に
