DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Granular detergent
The present invention removes bleachable stains in detergents substantially free of bleach.
The use of organic acids, in particular citric acid, for the production of organic acids. The invention may also be applied later or separately
Especially suitable for washing dyed fabrics containing organic acids, especially citric acid added to
The present invention relates to a granular detergent having a bulk density exceeding 0 g / l and a method for producing the same. Finally, the present invention provides
Use for washing treatment in a washing machine at temperatures up to 60 ° C for granular detergents
About.
Citric acid is conventionally known as one component of a detergent. Citric acid
Used to lower the pH of strongly alkaline detergents in aqueous laundry liquors,
Furthermore, citric acid itself and the citrate obtained by its neutralization are both (co)
) Has the advantage of exhibiting builder properties.
That is, German Patent Application DE-A-28 27 571 (Akzo) generally describes granular, alkaline
And relatively slowly dissolving components, including carbonates, and separate organic acids, especially
Disclosed is a detergent comprising 5-30% by weight of enic acid. Commercial household washing at a low temperature of about 25 ° C
Even at such low temperatures, the citric acid dissolves during the "acid pre-wash" performed in the rinsing machine.
To soften the washing liquid. For this reason, the melting start temperature of the alkaline component is about 40.
At a temperature of ° C., the washing liquid, due to its water softening, forms calcium carbonate
The danger of remaining on top is greatly reduced. Bulk density and grain of organic acid added
None of the diameter distributions is disclosed in the above patent application. As other detergent ingredients,
In particular, it contains a peroxy bleach such as perborate.
International patent application WO-A-91 / 17232 (P & G) also discloses that 20-30% by weight of zeolite, 5-20%
Weight% alkali metal carbonate and 1-3 weight% alkali metal silicate
Disclosed is a detergent containing as an ingredient and containing 4 to 10% by weight of citric acid. As other ingredients
And peroxy bleaching agents such as perborate. Granular detergent is usually sprayed
Drying gives a bulk density of 500-600 g / l and the carbonate is compatible with the spray-dried ingredients
However, citric acid (this is the pH value of 1% aqueous solution (20 ° C)
Which is intended to be reduced to 7-9.3) is then added. Because
When citric acid is included in the suspension to be spray-dried, neutralization by citric acid is
This is because it occurs in the body and the neutralization in the required aqueous washing liquid does not occur. This
According to the literature, the particle size distribution of citric acid added separately is an important factor.
Not disclosed. Due to the relatively low pH value of the aqueous washing liquid, the color of the colored fabric
Retention is improved.
According to the disclosure of European Patent EP-B-0 534 525 (Henkel), bulk density 650-1100 g / l
Particulate detergents include anionic and / or nonionic surfactants.
Especially 5 to 30% by weight of sodium carbonate and / or sodium bicarbonate and
And / or contains sesquicarbonate as a builder.
% By weight of the subsequently added citric acid (at least 80% by weight of the citric acid
(With particles having a particle size of 350 to 1500 μm) as an additional component.
As a matter of fact, it shows favorable dispersion characteristics in aqueous washing liquid. Small particle size and coarse
Neither particle of the particle size provides the necessary improvement of the dispersion in the aqueous wash liquor. this
The detergent contains a peroxy bleach as an additional representative detergent component.
In other words, organic acids, especially citric acid, reduce the pH value of aqueous
Used in detergents to make bleach, especially perborate and percarbonate
Peroxy bleaches are typically 15% by weight in detergents, as described above.
% Or more to remove bleachable soil from textiles
It is.
However, bleaches not only remove bleachable stains from fabrics, but also
It often attacks colored fabrics, especially fabrics dyed with oxidation-sensitive textile dyes.
As a result, the fabric generally fades in its color. Also bleach
The fabric is subjected to the so-called pinhole spotting forming action. This
Conventionally, the detergent used especially for dyed fabric is based on the total amount of detergent.
Only detergents with very little bleach, such as less than 10% by weight, are possible
Just nothing. At these small amounts, bleach only performs a hygienic function.
Absent. Therefore, the danger of bleach removal of dyes and fabric spotting is
It has been virtually eliminated. Despite this, the removal of stains from dyed fabrics
, Still a problem.
According to the invention, when the added organic acid, especially citric acid, is used later or separately,
Even when the detergent used is substantially free of bleach,
It has been found that the removal effect is retained.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, the present invention relates to a detergent substantially free of bleach.
And as a component added later or separately to remove bleachable soil
The use of organic acids, especially citric acid, is provided.
The present invention also relates to anionic and / or nonionic surfactants.
And 1 to 15% by weight of organic acid added later or separately,
A granular detergent having a density of 650 to 1100 g / l, which is substantially free of bleach.
Provide a detergent.
The organic acids used are preferably known to exhibit substantially a builder action.
Things. The organic acids include all acids described in German Patent Application DE 28 27 571.
Is included. Polyhydroxydicarboxylic acid (International Patent Application WO-A-94 / 04650)
Can be used, citric acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, succinic anhydride, maleic acid, maleic anhydride
Partic acid and / or malic acid are particularly preferred. According to the present invention, acid anhydrides
Succinic anhydride and maleic anhydride, which are included in the organic acids, are particularly preferred. Que
Acids are particularly preferred. In contrast to the teachings of International Patent Application WO-A-94 / 06450,
Acids show a better bleaching action than tartaric acid for various stains, but tartaric acid also
It has a better bleaching action than citric acid on certain soils.
Organic acids are used as raw materials. That is, the organic acid is
Is not used in the form of a detergent, and is therefore added later or separately in the detergent of the invention.
