PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein a gap between a pre-filter and a body is prevented from occurring being produced by suppressing loosening by pressing a bent section of the pre-filter backward. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is adapted such that a suction inlet 1 is provided in an upper surface of and in a front surface at an upper portion of the same of a body with a blow-off outlet 2 in the front surface at a lower portion of the same, and a suction grill 3 is demountably provided on the foregoing suction inlet 1. The suction grill includes a plurality of parallel lateral crosspieces 3a, and a plurality of longitudinal crosspieces 3b that couple the plurality of the lateral crosspieces 3a. Further, on an air passage connecting the foregoing suction inlet 1 and the foregoing blow-off outlet 2, there are provided a pre-filter 4 that comprises a flexible grid-shaped frame section and a mesh-shaped filter section and is mounted in the shape of a curved surface along a filter guide 5 provided on an internal wall of the body on opposite sides of the same, a heat exchanger 6, and an air fan 7.
